Competitiveness of winter wheat stands against weeds: Effects of cultivar choice, row width and drilling direction

The need for competitive crop stands can be regarded as a basic requirement for weed control, potentially reducing the need for direct control measures. One way the crop may suppress weed growth is by the restriction of light through crop shading. As part of the EU-project ²Strategies of weed control in Organic Farming² (WECOF) trials with winter wheat were carried out to evaluate the potential of wheat shading ability as a weed control measure. Factors included were cultivar, row width and drilling direction. Results of the first experimental year are presented

Parents as parents-in-law in the light of Erik Erikson’s theory

The role of parents-in-law according to Erik Erikson’s theory, has been analyzed in this paper. Erikson claims that a man develops throughout his whole life, solving subsequently appearing crises. The proper solution of these crises enables the achievement of integration. The results of research, carried out by Menelaos Apostolou, regarding the influence of parents on the choice of a son or daughter-in-law have been presented in this paper. These results show that the marital choices of offspring most often lack their parents’ approval, and they often also lead parents to use manipulation techniques. Such regularity is often the basis of difficult spouse-parent-in-law relationships. The role of parents-in-law takes place in the period of middle adulthood in which an individual faces the productivity-stagnation process. It has been assumed that the role of parents-in-law is embedded in this crisis. According to Erikson, the crisis in the period of middle adulthood, as well as in any other period, is the friction of two opposing pursuits: progression and regression, where in case of middle adulthood, the progression stage is called productivity and regression – stagnation. Moreover, social and individual factors (including biological and psychological levels) activating regressive and progressive states in parents-in-law have been submitted for analysis. It is stressed, in this paper, that the parents’ virtue, which is care, is not limited only and exclusively to their own biological offspring – the process of upbringing should also include a broad understanding of the notion of providing welfare to future generations

Kryzysy związane z rolą teściów i sposoby ich rozwiązywania - na podstawie teorii Erika Eriksona

In this paper author analyses the role of parents-in-law in the light of Erik Ericson's theory on psychosocial development. The beginning of the parents- in-law role starts in the second stage of adulthood. During this stage one confronts the generativity-stagnation crisis. It is assumed that the parents-in-law role is the ground for the crisis. This role includes: adaptation to smaller influence on family relations, accepting the son-in-law (daughter-in-law), raising the grand-children, and accepting a possible lack of gratitude from the side of the children. It is emphasized that the process may be more difficult for women. Author concludes that a role of a parent-in-law is easier for these people who deliberately decide to raise next generations

Błogosławiony ks. Jerzy Popiełuszko jako wzór osobowy w wychowaniu do chrześcijańskiej dojrzałości

Problematyka tekstu koncentruje się wokół roli wzorów osobowych w wychowaniu do wartości. Celem artykułu jest udzielenie odpowiedzi na następujące pytanie badawcze: Jak wychowywać młodzież do chrześcijańskiej dojrzałości kierując się wzorem błogosławionego ks. Jerzego Popiełuszki? W rozważaniach odwołano się do koncepcji chrześcijańskiej dojrzałości autorstwa Mariana Nowaka. Wykorzystano metodę biografii historyczno-pedagogicznej. Na podstawie wybranych opracowań i tekstów źródłowych poświęconych życiu i działalności ks. Jerzego wykazano, że już na etapie wczesnej dorosłości doskonale spełniał on kryteria chrześcijańskiej dojrzałości wyszczególnione przez Nowaka: stworzył projekt życia autentycznie ludzkiego i stale kształtował w sobie cechy umożliwiające urzeczywistnianie tego projektu (sumienność, autentyczność, odwaga). Wymienione kryteria wypełniał w optyce wiary chrześcijańskiej, dla której ostatecznym celem jest zbawienie i życie wieczne. Wychowując młodych ludzi do dojrzałego chrześcijaństwa warto kierować się wzorem ks. Popiełuszki i kształtować ich osobowość zgodnie z wyznacznikami opracowanymi przez Nowaka. Jako pomoc w wychowaniu jawią się konkretne przykłady z życia ks. Popiełuszki, będące inspiracją, jak formować w wychowankach chrześcijańską dojrzałość

Diplomová práce se zabývá výrobou ozubených kol aditivní technologií 3D tisku a provedením přípravy pro následné únavové zkoušky. V práci jsou popsané vybrané technologie 3D tisku, kterými je možno tisknout kovové součásti a popsány jejich výhody a nevýhody. Další bod se věnuje typům únavových zkoušek, které jsou běžně prováděny u ozubených kol. Jsou zde popsány výhody a nevýhody a použitelnost daných zkoušek. Praktická část se zabývá návrhem geometrie ozubeného kola a zkušebních čelistí. V této části je také provedena volba materiálu ozubeného kola i zkušebních čelistí. Pomocí MKP je provedena pevnostní analýza navrženého ozubeného kola a čelistí.The master thesis deals with a gears producing by additive technology as 3D print and preparing for fatigue testing. In the thesis are described certain technologies of 3D print, that can be used to print from metal and there are described advantages and disadvantages. The next point is devoted to type of fatigue testing, that can be commonly used to gears. There are described advantages and disadvantages types of fatigue testing and usability. The practical part deals with design geometry of a gear and testing clamps. In the same part is also chosen type of material a gear and testing clamps. Motivation to conclude marriage in light of Kurt Lewin's theory of conflict of motives

In this article the author analyses the problem of motivation to conclude a marriage in light of the theory of conflict of motives, particularly in relation to the approach-avoidance conflict, which is related to the impact of two contradictory to each other motives of similar intensity. It was emphasized that young people nowadays experience more and more the conflict of two types of motives – pro and anti –marriage. In the classification of motives internal and external motivation was considered. Long-term influence of two antagonist forces on a person may result in depression, despondency, apathy and helplessness. Parents as Parents-in-Law in the Light of the Developmental Task Theory of Robert Havighurst

In the article the author analyses relations between parents and adult children in the light of the developmental task theory of Robert Havighurst. Parents of a child who founded his or her own family have a developmental task – to establish a good relation with the child and his or her spouse. Success in this field assures satisfaction, whereas lack of the success brings the contrary – frustration or even depression. T he sources of this task are as follows: physical changes, cultural expectations (pressure), and values, individual aspirations. It is emphasized that today wedding is the only ceremony changing the status of young people. The author specifies the difficulties experienced by the parents to fulfill the role of the parents-inlaw. Some proposals to overcome these difficulties are presented. The author underlines, however, that the process may be difficult, especially in the Western culture characterized by egocentrism, the young generation’s lack of gratitude towards the ageing parents and low fertility rates of Europeans

Innovative Solution for Clamping Steel Profiles when Pressing Holes

Bakalářská práce se zabývá inovovaným řešením upínání ocelového profilu do lisovací stanice DTL 15 1/3 při lisování otvorů. V úvodu je popsáno dosavadní řešení a uvedeny možné způsoby upínání s jejími výhodami a nevýhodami. Další bod je věnován rozměrům pracovního místa z pohledu ergonomie a v neposlední řadě je popsáno vlastní navržené inovované řešení. Výpočtová část se zaobírá návrhem dvojčinného válce, následně je proveden silový rozbor upínacího mechanismu, přičemž je navržen kloubový spojovací čep a jsou navrženy šrouby držící konzolu, která uchycuje pneumatický válec. U konzoly je provedena pevnostní analýza pomocí MKP. V poslední řadě je navržena pracovní výška ovládacího pultu a zkontrolován aretační kloub proti prokluzu. Součástí práce je pneumatické schéma zapojení pneumatického obvodu upínání a příslušná výkresová dokumentace.The bachelor thesis deals with an innovative solution of clamping a steel profile into a pressing station DTL 15 1/3 when pressing holes. In the introduction, the present solution is described, and possible ways of clamping are presented with its advantages and disadvantages. The next point is devoted to the dimensions of the workplace from the ergonomics point of view and last, the proposed innovative solution is described. The calculation part deals with the design of the double-acting cylinder, then the force analysis of the clamping mechanism is carried out. The connecting pin and screws holding the bracket with the pneumatic cylinder are designed. The console is subjected to FEM stress analysis. Lastly, the operating height of the control panel is designed, and the anti-slip lock is checked. Part of the work is a pneumatic circuit diagram and related drawing documentation.347 - Katedra částí a mechanismů strojůvýborn
