Localization, Globalization, and Traveling Chinese Culture
In their article Localization, Globalization, and Traveling Chinese Culture Chengjun Wang and Junhong Ma discuss three main channels of the traveling of Chinese culture to the outside world. Focusing on the situation of bilingualism (i.e., Chinese and English) and the need of spreading Chinese literature and culture especially in the English-speaking world, Wang and Ma argue for localization and globalization. Further, Wang and Ma argue that in order to narrow the gap of the cultural divide between China and the West. In addition to the need for bilingualism especially in the case of translation, they posit that especially the writing of the literary history of Chinese is needed in both English and Chinese (hence their argumentation with regard to bilingualism)

Ethical Marketing AI?A Structured Literature Review of the Ethical Challenges Posed by Artificial Intelligence in the Domains of Marketing and Consumer Behavior
With the increasing use of AI in marketing, ethical repercussions are beginning to emerge. From privacy issues, through discrimination of marginalized groups, to emergent systemic social distortions, AI is changing the marketing ethical landscape. In this paper we conduct a structured literature review of the emerging ethical issues posed by AI in the domains of marketing and consumer behavior. We identify three clusters of ethical issues (algorithm, society and existential) and map these to the marketing domains of systems, brands, and consumers. We conclude that the field of ethical marketing AI is still very much in its infancy, but such is the rate of development ethical marketing AI is likely to become important field for academics and practitioners alike
(E)-1-[4-(Dimethylamino)benzylidene]thiosemicarbazide
In the title molecule, C10H14N4S, the thiorea plane and benzene ring form a dihedral angle of 16.0 (3) Å. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds link the molecules into ribbons extended in the [100] direction; these incorporate inversion dimers
Dimethylbis(3-methylsulfanyl-1,2,4-thiadiazole-5-thiolato)tin(IV)
In the title compound, [Sn(CH3)2(C3H3N2S3)2], the SnIV atom is coordinated within a C2N2S2 donor set that defines a skew-trapezoidal bipyramidal geometry in which the methyl groups lie over the weakly coordinated N atoms. Two independent molecules comprise the asymmetric unit, each of which lies on a mirror plane that passes through the C2Sn unit
Study of Mutagenesis on the Strain Producing Cellulase
Cellulose is insoluble in water, dilute acid and dilute alkali at room temperature, which is slowly decomposed under natural conditions. Microbial plays an important role in the degradation of cellulose. This article, taking the strain producing cellulase as the objective, dealed with the effect of mutagenesis on the activity of cellulase. The strain producing cellulase was activated and experienced mutagenesis by ultra violet, then fermentation experiment for enzyme production was carried out, DNS method was taken to calculate the activity of cellulase, hoping to find out optimum conditions for mutagenesis. It came to the conclusion that the activity of cellulase arrived at 107.75µg/mL·min on conditions of UV exposure for 4 min, accompanied by 34,600/mL growth concentration of strain

Prompting Fab Yeast Surface Display Efficiency by ER Retention and Molecular Chaperon Co-expression.
For antibody discovery and engineering, yeast surface display (YSD) of antigen-binding fragments (Fabs) and coupled fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) provide intact paratopic conformations and quantitative analysis at the monoclonal level, and thus holding great promises for numerous applications. Using anti-TNFα mAbs Infliximab, Adalimumab, and its variants as model Fabs, this study systematically characterized complementary approaches for the optimization of Fab YSD. Results suggested that by using divergent promoter GAL1-GAL10 and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) signal peptides for co-expression of light chain and heavy chain-Aga2 fusion, assembled Fabs were functionally displayed on yeast cell surface with sigmoidal binding responses toward TNFα. Co-expression of a Hsp70 family molecular chaperone Kar2p and/or protein-disulfide isomerase (Pdi1p) significantly improved efficiency of functional display (defined as the ratio of cells displaying functional Fab over cells displaying assembled Fab). Moreover, fusing ER retention sequences (ERSs) with light chain also enhanced Fab display quality at the expense of display quantity, and the degree of improvements was correlated with the strength of ERSs and was more significant for Infliximab than Adalimumab. The feasibility of affinity maturation was further demonstrated by isolating a high affinity Fab clone from 1:103 or 1:105 spiked libraries
Ginkgo Biloba Extract EGB761 Protects against Aging-Associated Diastolic Dysfunction in Cardiomyocytes of D-Galactose-Induced Aging Rat
The aim of the present study was to make use of the artificially induced aging model cardiomyocytes to further investigate potential anti-aging-associated cellular diastolic dysfunction effects of EGB761 and explore underlying molecular mechanisms. Cultured rat primary cardiomyocytes were treated with either D-galactose or D-galactose combined with EGB761 for 48 h. After treatment, the percentage of cells positive for SA-β-gal, AGEs production, cardiac sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium pump (SERCA) activity, the myocardial sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium uptake, and relative protein levels were measured. Our results demonstrated that in vitro stimulation with D-galactose induced AGEs production. The addition of EGB761 significantly decreased the number of cells positive for SA-β-gal. Furthermore, decreased diastolic [Ca2+]i, curtailment of the time from the maximum concentration of Ca2+ to the baseline level and increased reuptake of Ca2+ stores in the SR were also observed. In addition, the level of p-Ser16-PLN protein as well as SERCA was markedly increased. The study indicated that EGb761 alleviates formation of AGEs products on SERCA2a in order to mitigate myocardial stiffness on one hand; on other hand, improve SERCA2a function through increase the amount of Ser16 sites PLN phosphorylation, which two hands finally led to ameliorate diastolic dysfunction of aging cardiomyocytes
