    The problem in this research is how to supervise the quality of science learning at SDN 3?. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality supervision of science learning at SDN 3 Wolowaru. The approach used in this study is qualitative, namely an approach that tries to understand the individual meaning of the subject under study. The subjects of this study consisted of key informants, namely the principal as a supervisor and informants, namely the science subject teacher. In obtaining the data, the writer uses interview, observation, and observation techniques. The results showed that 1. the role of the principal as a supervisor: a. the principal's duty as a supervisor is to make teachers more serious and enthusiastic and responsible in teaching and learning activities, b. the function of the principal as a supervisor is to provide direction, guidance, service and supervision. 2. The supervision process at SDN 3 Wolowaru: has been carried out well by the principal as a supervisor, starting from the supervision program, implementing supervision, as well as the follow-up process from the results of supervision. 3. The views of the science subject teachers are very helpful in improving the quality of learning as well as influencing and improving the learning process

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko terhadap kinerja guru, Penelitian dilaksanakan di di SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan guru SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaaan keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas yakni triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Prinsip pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang di terapkan oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko sebagai berikut : (a) Prinsip ilmiah, (b) Prinsip demokratis, (c) Prinsip kooperatif yaitu dengan mengedepankan kerjasama yang dijalin bersama dengan guru, (d) Prinsip konstruktif; (2) Pendekatan supervisi yang terapkan oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko adalah Pendekatan kolaboratif ; (3) Teknik supervisi akademik yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Detusoko adalah teknik individu yaitu dengan melakukan kunjungan kelas atau observasi kelas dengan mengamati proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan teknik kelompok yaitu dengan melakukan rapat bersama guru untuk membahas hal-hal mengenai pembelajaran maupun supervisi akademik

    Optimizing of Competitive Adsorption Methylene Blue and Methyl Orange using Natural Zeolite from Ende-Flores

    Waste from the textile industry is considered a potential source of environmental pollution, especially water, because it contains dangerous dyes. In this research, natural zeolite is an effective and efficient alternative to overcome pollution caused by methylene blue and methyl orange dyes. Activation of natural zeolite was carried out with 3 M HCl solution and was characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Simultaneously, the methylene blue and methyl orange adsorption processes were studied in variations in the weight of the adsorbent, contact time, and pH. The concentration of dyes left in the solution was observed with UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of natural zeolite in absorbing methylene blue was 21.189 mg / g and methyl orange was 18.208 mg / g. The optimum conditions of dyes adsorption are achieved with successive adsorbent weights 0.3 g and 0,4 g, following contact times 60 minutes and 90 minutes, and successive pH 6 and 2.     Berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru di kelas  kurang inovatif sehingga rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa kelas 1V SDK Woloora. Maka solusi yang diberikan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran jigsaw. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Penggunaan model pembelajaran jigsaw dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDK Woloora Kabupaten Ende. Jenis penelitian yakni Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang  terdiri dari empat tahap yakni tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas 1V SDK Woloora. Objek penelitian SDK Woloora, Ende, Kabupaten Ende. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, tes evaluasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa  pada saat pra tindakan sebesar 42,85% berada pada kategori rendah, siklus I sebesar 57,29% berada pada kategori sedang, siklus II 100 berada pada ketegori tinggi%. Pemahaman mahasiswa rata-rata kelas pra tindakan 61.07%, siklus 83,44%, siklus II 93,33%. Kesimpulan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil  belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IV SDK Woloora Kabupaten Ende

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implemetasi pelayananbimbingan dan konseling dalam membentuk karakter siswa MASAlmuttaqin Wolowaru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalahdeskriptif kualitatif sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yaitumenggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasilpenelitian menujukan bahwa pelayanan bimbingan dan konselingdalam membentuk karakter siswa sudah diterapkan di MASAlmuttaqin Wolowaru. Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling dilakukanoleh guru BK kepada semua siswa/i yang ada di MAS AlmuttaqinWolowaru, yang mempunyai masalah-masalah secara pribadi ataukelompok. Dampak dari penerapan atau implementasi pelayananbimbingan dan konseling menujukan bahwa adanya dampak positifdalam membentuk karakter siswa MAS Almuttaqin Wolowaru, inidibuktikan dari banyaknya siswa yang memperbaiki diri dan tidakmengulangi kesalahan yang sama

    Topographically, Potulando Village is located in the highlands and lowlands and is located in the center of Ende City. The Potulando Village area is a mixed area, namely economic and residential areas. As one of the urban villages located in the middle of the city, the residential area is included in a densely populated area. Narrow yards are left unproductive and unproductive. Home yard land can be used as an effort to meet family food availability through intensification of cultivation of various types of agricultural crops. One of the farming techniques that can be applied to a narrow area is hydroponics. Hydroponics is a method of farming by utilizing water without using soil as a growing medium. The method used in Community Service activities in the group of PKK cadres in the village of Potulando with several methods, namely 1) socialization of narrow land use, good farming methods, and fertilization methods, and 2) training and practice of making hydroponic plants. From the results of this activity, it is expected to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in the use of home yards for farming using hydroponic techniques

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMPN 1 Wolowaru Kecamatan Wolowaru Kabupaten Ende, melalui pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Guru merupakan titik sentral, yaitu sebagai ujung tombak di lapangan dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Keberhasilan belajar mengajar antara lain ditentukan oleh kemampuan professional dalam pribadi guru, dikarenakan pengembangan kurikulum berangkat dari dalam kelas, sehingga guru hendaknya mengusahakan gagasan kreatif dalam menerapkan kurikulum di kelasnya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas praktik pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Data yang diambil adalah data sikap ilmiah siswa melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan wawancara dan observasi serta keduanya dilakukan pengecekan silang dengan tambahan dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh peran yang dilakukan guru-guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik di SMPN 1 Wolowaru. Tujuh peran tersebut yaitu; Penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi, pemberian tugas yang teratur, pujian (reward), evaluasi yang konsisten, penilaian dalam setiap aspek, dan juga hukuman (punishment)

    This study aimed to implement models and learning tools based on integrated JAS (Natural Surrounding Exploration) approach in the plant taxonomy course particularly plant determination material. This research was conducted by utilizing descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted from September to November 2019 in the odd semester at the academic year 2019/2020. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The samples were 43 students of biology education study program at Universitas Flores who took plant taxonomy course. The research was conducted at Kelimutu National Park. Based on the results, the use of a taxonomic learning model based on natural surrounding exploration was considered quite interesting and encouraged meaningful teaching and learning activities. In addition, based on the results of interviews with biology students, this method provided advantages including (1) being able to increase students' understanding of plant identification, (2) being an attractive medium to trigger learning motivation because it was related to the real context around it, and (3) instilling a caring attitude and love for the natural wealth around and the culture around it

    The aims of this research is was to find out the profile of overall science critical thinking ability and based on the gender of viii grade students of SMPN at Ende city. This research was a descriptive research. The population of this research were all the VIII grade students of SMPN at Ende city academic year 2017/2018. As many as 804 students and the sample were 10% of the populations, they were 80 students. This research used random sampling technique. The data were obtained from the score of science critical thinking ability. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. the result shows that the average of science critical thinking ability of students was 66,84 which is categorized as medium or critical enough. Meanwhile, based on the gender perspective, the female group obtained the average as 68,56 which is categorized as high or critical. Meanwhile, male obtained the 62,03 which is categorized as medium or critical enough

    Ketergantungan akan pemakaian bahan bakar fosil yang terus meningkat telah mengubah pola pikir manusia untuk mengembangkan penelitian terkait energi alternatif terbarukan. Bioetanol yang berasal dari hasil fermentasi nira tanaman aren (Arenga pinnata MERR), dan dikenal sebagai minuman tradisional Moke di Flores dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif jika memiliki kemurnian di atas 99,5%. Proses adsorpsi merupakan salah satu metode yang dilakukan untuk menghasilkan bioetanol dengan kadar di atas titik azeotrop. Adsorben yang efektif digunakan sebagai molecular sieve adalah zeolit alam yang berasal dari kabupaten Ende – NTT. Peningkatan efisiensi penyerapan zeolit alam dalam pemurnian bioetanol berbahan baku Moke sudah dilakukan melalui proses aktivasi kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar dan kualitas bioetanol setelah pemurnian menggunakan adsorben zeolit alam Ende – NTT yang telah diaktivasi NaOH pada berbagai konsentrasi. Kadar bioetanol yang terdapat pada Moke sebelum dan sesudah proses adsorpsi ditentukan dengan instrumen gas kromatografi, karakterisasi zeolit alam menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Zeolit alam Ende dapat digunakan sebagai adsorben dalam meningkatkan kadar bioetanol berbahan baku Moke.   The reliance on increasing use of fossil fuels has changed the human mindset to develop research related to renewable alternative energy. Bioethanol derived from fermented palm sugar sap (Arenga pinnata MERR), and known as Moke, traditional drink in Flores can be used as an alternative fuel if it has a purity above 99.5%. The adsorption process is one method used to produce bioethanol with a level above the azeotrope point. The effective adsorbent used as molecular sieve is natural zeolite originating from Ende - NTT. Increased efficiency of absorption of natural zeolite in bioethanol purification made from Moke has been done through a chemical activation process. This study aims to determine the level and quality of bioethanol after purification using Ende-NTT natural zeolite adsorbent which has been activated by NaOH at various concentrations. Bioethanol levels found in the Moke before and after the adsorption process were determined by gas chromatography instruments, natural zeolite characterization using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
