Beamforming and Multiuser Detection in CDMA Systems with External Interferences

Multiuser detection has been investigated to mitigate the near-far effect in CDMA systems. Antenna arrays have been shown to provide spatial diversity and cancel undesired signals. In this paper we consider the synergy of both multiuser detection and antenna arrays for the base station of a CDMA system. The receiver we proposed consists of the known multiuser decorrelator, which cancels multiple-access interferences followed by a beamformer for each user, which cancels the external interferences. This receiver adds an extra branch to the decorrelator. This additional branch, corresponding to a fictitious user with an unused code and zero power, allows to estimate the external interference signal subspace and compute a suitable beamforming weight-vector that cancels the external interferences. Blind multiuser adaptive combining for asynchronous cdma systems

This paper presents a novel technique to globally estimate and track the direction of arrival (DOA) of different users in an asynchronous CDMA system. The estimates are obtained exploiting the temporal structure of CDMA signals. No training signal nor a priori spatial information is required. The necessary information is extracted directly from the received signals. The proper combining of the overall information present at the receiver after the despreading, jointly with an Eigenvalue Decomposition (EVD), let as estimate the generalized steering vector for each user. En general, ha constituido un lugar común en la historiografía que ha abordado la política exterior del periodo bajoisabelino la consideración de estas intervenciones como románticas, quijotescas y sin objetivos definidos. La guerra que España sostuvo con Perú y Chile ha sido generalmente interpretada bajo estos parámetros. Esta serie de tópicos son cuestionados en un artículo que rastrea las causas que impulsaron el conflicto y su posterior impacto en la articulación de discursos nacionalistas en la antigua metrópoli y las jóvenes repúblicas. Pero también el peso de la política doméstica y la trascendencia ejercida por la opinión pública a la hora de dirigir la política exterior. Un análisis que trasciende el seguimiento de los episodios bélicos para abordar las estrategias en disputa que debían regir la vinculación de España con sus antiguas colonias y las tensas relaciones con sus aliados europeos en la contención de la hegemonía norteamericana

Guía docente para la enseñanza de la geografía y la historia en Educación Infantil

Este manual pretende combinar y aunar teoría y práctica. No pretende realizar un repaso exhaustivo de los contenidos teóricos de cada uno de los temas analizados pero sí señalar cuáles son algunos de los principales debates, metodologías y conceptos que los alumnos deben conocer y manejar a través de la asistencia a las clases y la consulta de los materiales y bibliografía recomendada para cada uno de ellos. El manual consta de cuatro grandes bloques temáticos. En el primero de ellos se realiza un escueto recorrido introductorio por la epistemología de las Ciencias Sociales y su didáctica. La definición de los ámbitos de socialización del alumnado ocupa el segundo apartado (familia, escuela y entorno social). El tercero está consagrado a la enseñanza del tiempo en Educación Infantil, una de las disciplinas vertebradoras de las Ciencias Sociales junto al espacio, cuyo estudio precisamente abarca el cuarto tema. En la parte final se adjunta una webgrafía que complementa a la bibliografía temática de cada bloque con enlaces a sitios y páginas web que pueden resultar de interés para el alumnado a la hora de consultar recursos y contenidos vinculados con la asignatura Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales del tercer curso del Grado de Educación Infantil.This manual is intended to combine theory and practice. Is not intended to be a comprehensive review of the theoretical content of each of the topics analyzed but what are some of the main debates, methodologies and concepts that students need to know and handle through the attendance and the consultation of the materials and recommended bibliography for each one of them. The manual consists of four thematic blocks. In the first of them is a brief introductory tour by the epistemology of the Social Sciences and their teaching. The definition of the area of socialization of the student occupies the second section (family, school and social environment).
