IGDS/TRAP Interface Program (ITIP). Software Design Document
The preliminary design of the IGDS/TRAP Interface Program (ITIP) is described. The ITIP is implemented on the PDP 11/70 and interfaces directly with the Interactive Graphics Design System and the Data Management and Retrieval System. The program provides an efficient method for developing a network flow diagram. Performance requirements, operational rquirements, and design requirements are discussed along with sources and types of input and destination and types of output. Information processing functions and data base requirements are also covered
Journey through the impact of the recovery artifacts in Windows 8
ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT PROCESSES OF DIGITAL FORENSICS IS UNDERSTANDING HOW NEW TECHNOLOGY INTERACTS WITH CURRENT TECHNOLOGY AND HOW DIGITAL FORENSIC ANALYSTS CAN UTILIZE CURRENT DIGITAL FORENSICS TECHNOLOGIES AND PROCESSES TO RECOVER AND FIND INFORMATION HIDDEN. MICROSOFT HAS RELEASED THEIR NEW OPERATING SYSTEM WINDOWS 8, WITH THIS NEW RELEASE MICROSOFT HAS ADDED SOME FEATURES TO THE OPERATING SYSTEM THAT WILL PRESENT SOME INTERESTING COMPLICATIONS TO DIGITAL FORENSICS.
SINCE THE INITIAL RELEASE OF THE WINDOWS 8 RELEASE CANDIDATES THERE HAVE BEEN SOME RESEARCH RELEASED THAT FOCUS PRIMARILY ON THE NEW USER CREATED ARTIFACTS AND A FEW ARTIFACTS THAT HAVE BEEN ADDED BY THE OPERATING SYSTEM THAT MIGHT CONTAIN VALUABLE INFORMATION. IN THIS PAPER I WILL LOOK AT THE NEW RECOVERY OPTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED IN WINDOWS 8, AND THE IMPACT THAT HAVE ON THE ARTIFACTS.
THE FIRST THING THAT I PLAN TO LOOK AT IS THE ARTIFACTS DISCOVERED BY THE RESEARCH OF AMANDA THOMSON. ONCE I HAVE ANALYZED THESE ARTIFACTS AND THEN VERIFY THE LOCATIONS ON THE DISK I WILL CREATE A BASELINE DATASET TO COMPARE THE IMPACT OF THE RECOVERY OPTIONS ON THESE ARTIFACTS. I WILL ALSO USE ARTIFACTS OF NEW FEATURES THAT I HAVE RESEARCHED FOR THIS BASELINE.
THE SECOND THING THAT I WILL LOOK AT IS HOW THE VARIOUS RECOVERY OPTIONS IMPACT THE ARTIFACTS THAT ARE FOUND ON THE OPERATING SYSTEM. THIS WILL BE DONE BY INSTALLING WINDOWS 8 IN A VIRTUAL MACHINE ENVIRONMENT AND TAKING SNAPSHOTS OF A BASE IMAGE AND THEN UTILIZING THE VARIOUS RECOVERY METHODS.
THE FINAL THING THAT I WILL INCLUDE IN THIS PAPER IS A DETAILED WALK THROUGH ON WHERE THE ARTIFACTS WILL RESIDE ON THE MACHINE AFTER A RECOVER OPTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED. I WILL EXAMINE THE LOCATIONS ON A LIVE MACHINE AS WELL AS ON A FORENSIC COPY. I WILL SHOW WHAT ARTIFACTS ARE EASILY RECOVERABLE, WHAT ARTIFACTS NEED A LITTLE TIME TO RECOVERY AND WHAT ARTIFACTS THAT WILL NOT BE RECOVERABLE
Building High-Performance Ministry Teams: Pastors, Ministers, and Leaders of Selected Baptist Churches in Macon, Georgia
This transcendental phenomenological research explored the experiences of pastors, ministers, and leaders of selected Baptist churches in Macon, Georgia regarding the impact of a shared vision on the development of high-performance ministry teams. The study\u27s goal will be to understand how a shared vision can motivate pastors and church leaders to do what is necessary to improve church ministries so they can function in a way that would advance the Kingdom of God. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the experiences of pastors and church leaders in building high-performance ministries. Shared vision will be defined as a clear and common view of the future as communicated to members of a team who let the vision resonate within, with the result being them taking ownership of it (Kouzes & Posner, 2017). The team leadership theory, postulated by Douglas McGregor, and the transformational theory, postulated by James MacGregor Burns, would guide this study. This inquiry will focus on pastors and ministry leaders, the importance of sharing the vision, and the willingness to do what it takes to fulfill the vision, even if it requires modifying actions and activities
Stuttering in Relation to Various Speech Sounds
Thirty-two stutterers read over 300,000 words, stuttering in relation to over 30,000 of them. Stuttering was analyzed with reference to its relative frequency in relation to specific sounds, and conclusions were drawn with reference to the problem of the precipitation of a moment of stuttering
Examining Experienced Teachers’ Noticing of and Responses to Students’ Engineering
Engineering design places unique demands on teachers, as students are coming up with new, unanticipated ideas to problems along often unpredictable trajectories. These demands motivate a responsive approach to teaching, in which teachers attend their students’ thinking and flexibly adapt their instructional plans and objectives. A great deal of literature has focused on responsive teaching in science and mathematics, but there has been little research or professional development on this approach in engineering. In this work, we conducted clinical video-based interviews with six elementary teachers experienced in teaching engineering to discuss what they noticed in their students’ thinking and how they responded. Using analytical methods based on the grounded theory approach, we identified four themes in what teachers noticed in their students’ engineering: how students (1) framed (or interpreted) the project, (2) engaged in the engineering design process, (3) exhibited informed designer patterns, and (4) communicated with each other in ways that supported their engineering. Although none of these teachers had a formal background in engineering, we show how these themes connect to disciplinary aspects of engineering design. We also identified challenges that teachers perceived facing when responding to students’ work. By showing teachers’ abilities and challenges for responsive teaching, these findings motivate a research and professional development agenda to support teachers in eliciting, noticing, and responding to their students’ engineering
Investigation of the Precombustion Injection of a Water Spray into the Hydrogen Oxygen Flame Front
This study was concerned with an investigation of water injection into a hydrogen-oxygen combustor for the production of steam. The purpose for the study was to inject the water prior to the combustion reaction and describe the effects and limits of the water injection. This investigation is the first experimental approach to a partially quenched hydrogen-oxygen (Aphodid) reaction at Oklahoma State University, and it is hoped that the information presented in this thesis will be improved upon by continued studies at Oklahoma State University.Mechanical Engineerin
