A Method for Constrained Multiobjective Optimization Based on SQP Techniques

We propose a method for constrained and unconstrained nonlinear multiobjective optimization problems that is based on an SQP-type approach. The proposed algorithm maintains a list of nondominated points that is improved both for spread along the Pareto front and optimality by solving single-objective constrained optimization problems. These single-objective problems are derived as SQP problems based on the given nondominated points.Under appropriate differentiability assumptions we discuss convergence to local optimal Pareto points. We provide numerical results for a set of unconstrained and constrained multiobjective optimization problems in the form of performance and data profiles, where several performance metrics are used. The numerical results confirm the superiority of the proposed algorithm against a state-of-the-art multiobjective solver and a classical scalarization approach, both in the quality of the approximated Pareto front and in the computational effort necessary to compute the approximation.<br/

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Routing and Trajectory Optimisation Problem, a Taxonomic Review

Over the past few years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have become more and more popular. The complexity of routing UAVs has not been fully investigated in the literature. In this paper, we provide a formal definition of the UAV Routing and Trajectory Optimisation Problem (UAVRTOP). Next, we introduce a taxonomy and review recent contributions in UAV trajectory optimisation, UAV routing and articles addressing these problems, and their variants, simultaneously. We conclude with the identification of future research opportunities.<br/

STA, the Space Trajectory Analysis Project

This article describes the objectives of the Space Trajectory Analysis (STA) project. The article also details the birth of STA, and its present configuration. STA is a project to develop an open source astrodynamics software suite involving university science departments and space research institutions. It was initiated by ESA as internal activity in 2005 and now it involves 16 partners. The article explains the partnership into the STA Steering Board. The main purpose of the STA is to allow advanced simulation for the analysis of space trajectories in an open and free environment under the premises of innovation and reliability.Further, the article explains that the STA development is open source and is based on the state of the art astrodynamics routines that are grouped into modules. Finally, the article concludes about the benefits of the STA initiative: the STA project allows a strong link among applied mathematics, space engineering, and informatics disciplines by reinforcing the academic community with requirements and needs coming from real missions

This study is to research how the intercourse of culture that existed in the Rantau Sakti village Tambusai Utara District and Rokan Hulu Regent intertribal nasions of Java, Medan Java, Batak, Minang, and Melayu. Theres a launching factors and hindrance factors too in culture intercourse. The data tekhnic collection with the koesioner, interview, and documentation. And the analisys of data is descriptive where the data presented in the form of a diagrams, percentages, pictures, and explanations. The research results show that The lives of the multicultural that could lead to the occurrence of intercourse of culture through assimilation, acculturation, and amalgamation. The intercourse of culture through three aspects of it can run well theres happened in Rantau Sakti village on seven principles like language, system of knowledge , a social organization , celebration life and technologi, means of subsistence, religion, and art . There is also intercourse of culture with amalgamation culture that leads to assimilation and acculturation. Its launching factor are the attitude of tolerance and open, in common religion, and the same occasion in the economic field. While the hindrance factor are differences of religion and stereotype (ethnic prejudice).
