Exact results of one-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model

We present analytical results of fundamental properties of one-dimensional (1D) Hubbard model with a repulsive interaction, ranging from fractional excitations to universal thermodynamics, interaction-driven criticality, correlation functions, Contact susceptibilities and quantum cooling. Using the exact solutions of the Bethe Ansatz equations of the Hubbard model, we first rigorously calculate the gapless spin and charge excitations, exhibiting exotic features of fractionalized spinons and holons. Based on the analysis on the fractional charge and spin excitations, the spin-incoherent Luttinger liquid with only the charge propagation mode is elucidated by the asymptotic of the two-point correlation functions with the help of the conformal field theory. Near quadruple critical point, we then further analytically obtain the thermodynamical properties, dimensionless ratios and scaling functions near quantum phase transitions in terms of chemical potential, magnetic field and interaction. In particular, we determine additivity rules of spin and charge susceptibilities, and derive explicit forms of thermodynamics of spin-incoherent Luttinger liquid. Finally, in order to capture deeper insight into the Mott insulator and interaction driven criticality, we further study the double occupancy and its associated Contact and Contact susceptibilities through which an adiabatic cooling scheme upon the quantum criticality is introduced.Comment: slight changes, 50 pages +18 figures, new analytical result

Spin incoherent liquid and interaction-driven criticality in 1D Hubbard model

A rigorous understanding of the spin incoherent Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid (TLL), which displays solely a propagating charge mode but not a spin mode, and the interaction-driven quantum phase transitions in one-dimensional (1D) systems still remain elusive. In this Letter, we report the universal properties of spin incoherent TLL and interaction-driven criticality of the 1D repulsive Hubbard model by means of fractional charge and spin excitations, asymptotic of correlation functions as well as the lattice Contact. We build up an essential connection of Contact susceptibilities to the variations of density, magnetization and entropy with respect to the interaction strength, providing a rigorous understanding of interaction-driven phase transitions, Mott insulator and quantum cooling in the model. These relations hold true for higher dimensional systems.Comment: 4 figures 6 page

Thiamine Deficiency Causes Long-Lasting Neurobehavioral Deficits in Mice

Thiamine deficiency (TD) has detrimental effects on brain health and neurobehavioral development, and it is associated with many aging-related neurological disorders. To facilitate TD-related neuropsychological studies, we generated a TD mouse model by feeding a thiamine-deficient diet for 30 days, followed by re-feeding the control diet for either one week or 16 weeks as recovery treatment. We then performed neurobehavioral tests in these two cohorts: cohort of one week post TD treatment (1 wk-PTDT) and 16 weeks post TD treatment (16 wks-PTDT). The TD mice showed no significant difference from control in any tests in the 1 wk-PTDT cohort at the age of 13–14 weeks. The tests for the 16 wks-PTDT cohort at the age of 28–29 weeks, however, demonstrated anxiety and reduced locomotion in TD animals in open field and elevated plus maze. In comparison, rotor rod and water maze revealed no differences between TD and control mice. The current findings of the differential effects of the same TD treatment on locomotion and anxiety at different ages may reflect the progressive and moderate change of TD-induced neurobehavioral effects. The study suggests that, even though the immediate neurobehavioral impact of TD is modest or negligible at a young age, the impact could develop and become severe during the aging process

Novel Brønsted-acidic ionic liquids based on benzothiazolium cations as catalysts for esterification reactions

Three novel Brønsted-acidic ionic liquids based on benzothiazolium cations were prepared, which served as catalysts for the synthesis of benzoic esters. All three gave good yields of the target esters in esterification reactions. Moreover, they combine the advantages of both homogeneous and heterogeneous solid catalysts in esterification reactions, which enabled them to serve as homogeneous catalysts to catalyze the reactions and be conveniently recovered by simple filtration after the reactions. They could be reused several times without noticeable decrease in efficiency

Determination of incommensurate modulated structure in Bi2Sr1.6La0.4CuO6+{\delta} by aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy

Incommensurate modulated structure (IMS) in Bi2Sr1.6La0.4CuO6+{\delta} (BSLCO) has been studied by aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy in combination with high-dimensional (HD) space description. Two images in the negative Cs imaging (NCSI) and passive Cs imaging (PCSI) modes were deconvoluted, respectively. Similar results as to IMS have been obtained from two corresponding projected potential maps (PPMs), but meanwhile the size of dots representing atoms in the NCSI PPM is found to be smaller than that in PCSI one. Considering that size is one of influencing factors of precision, modulation functions for all unoverlapped atoms in BSLCO were determined based on the PPM obtained from the NCSI image in combination with HD space description

SC-TVP Green Practice Initiative in China’s Logistics Market Based on Case Analysis

In the era of circular economy, the concept of sustainable development has attracted more and more attention. With the development of cross-border e-commerce, the demand for logistics services has continued to surge, and the pressure on them to provide sustainable services has risen sharply. In 2020, China officially put forward the “double carbon” strategic goal, and green logistics has become the new direction of industry development, in line with the concept of sustainable development. However, the actual impact of green logistics practice on China’s sustainable logistics services is unknown. This paper aims to study the current situation and results of green logistics practice through data analysis and case analysis, including green design, green transportation, green management and other indicators. Based on the case analysis in this paper, the SC-TVP model is constructed to provide an effective green logistics practice framework, with a view to improving the management level of green logistics, promoting the development of enterprises, and providing some reference for the logistics development in the post-epidemic era

Critical Fields and Anisotropy of NdO0.82F0.18FeAs Single Crystals

The newly discovered iron-based superconductors have stimulated enormous interests in the field of superconductivity. Since the new superconductor is a layered system, the anisotropy is a parameter with the first priority to know. Meanwhile any relevant message about the critical fields (upper critical field and irreversibility line) are essentially important. By using flux method, we have successfully grown the single crystals NdO0.82F0.18FeAs at ambient pressure. Resistive measurements reveal a surprising discovery that the anisotropy \Gamma = (mc/mab)^{1/2} is below 5, which is much smaller than the theoretically calculated results. The data measured up to 400 K show a continuing curved feature which prevents a conjectured linear behavior for an unconventional metal. The upper critical fields determined based on the Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg formula are H_{c2}^{H||ab}(T=0 K) = 304 T and H_{c2}^{H||c}(T=0 K)=62-70 T, indicating a very encouraging application of the new superconductors.Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures, Submitted on 26 May, 200
