As wide-ranging of IT services transfer to online services in the cloud, progressively many IT managers are thinking whether to move their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems there also. Small to Medium Enterprises of India are one of the most hostile implementers of ERP solutions. Most of the SMEs have implemented the traditional ERP Systems and have incurred a heavy cost while adopting these systems. Even though some SMEs have prospered in shifting a portion of their unconventional ERP services, for example human resources systems, into the cloud, many organizations keep on vague of undertaking the same with core supply chain and financial operations. There are a many aspects that organizations should consider in determining whether and how to use cloud-based services for their ERP systems. Industry type, company size, solution complexity, security needs, and several other organizational issues must all be addressed. In this Perspective, this paper presents the various cloud deployment and delivery models, ERP deployment models, benefits of implementing a Cloud ERP solution from scratch or a migration from an existing in-house solution to a cloud version, and challenges of moving ERP services to the cloud

The drug ā€œTHETRAN CHOORANAMā€ is used by siddha physicians for the treatment of Ulaimanthai. ā€¢ The aim of this dissertation is to study the acute and chronic toxicity of the drug Thetran Chooranam administered at various presumed moderate dosage, in the experimental animals. ā€¢ In Review of literature, the ingredients of Thetran Chooranam are discussed in depth, with focus of special features and medicinal uses, especially for Ulaimanthai. ā€¢ The bio-chemical studies of the drug bring out the presence of calcium, starch and amino acid, copper. ā€¢ The drug was analysed for its physicochemical properties and contents by using qualitative biochemical analysis and modern techniques such as inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. ā€¢ The ICP-OES analysis revealed heavy metals like Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury, Lead and Iron in below detection limit. ā€¢ By scanning electron microscope [SEM], the sizes of the particles about 5-10 micron, were analyzed. ā€¢ The preparation of the medicine "Thetran Chooranam" is given in the previous chapter. The acute and chronic toxicity studies are done as follows. ā€¢ For this study the Wister albino rats of both sexes were selected weighing around 80-120 gms and were fed with standard food and water. ā€¢ The study was done at Pharmacology laboratory (PG), Government Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai. ā€¢ To evaluate the acute toxicity study 30 rats were selected and divided into 6 groups (Group 1, 11, 111, 1V, V, VI), each group consisting of 5 rats. Among these one group is kept as control (Gr I) and they were administered with the drug in different graded dosages ranging from 40mg, 80mg, 160mg, 320mg, 640mg / 100 gm body weight animal, orally. The animals were observed and the details were recorded. The drug did not produce any mortality even up to 24 hrs, so the drug is found to be safe up to 640 mg / 100 gm body weight of animal on Acute Toxicity. ā€¢ The chronic toxicity study was conducted for about 90 day's duration. Two dose levels were selected from acute toxicity study for the drug administration. For this study 15 rats were selected and divided into 3 groups, each group consisting of 5 rats. ā€¢ The first group kept as control by administered only with placebo or water. Second group was administered with Thetran Chooranam at the dose of 40mg / 100 gm body weight and the third group with 80 mg /100 gm body weight. ā€¢ The blood samples were taken before and during the drug administration periodically (every 30 days) in chronic study. Then blood samples were sent to laboratory for Haematological Evaluation. No significant Haematological changes occurred. ā€¢ The weights of the animal were recorded before the beginning and during the drug administration periodically. There is an increase in the body weight and the results are statistically represented. ā€¢ One animal from each group were sacrificed at the end of the experiment. The heart, liver, brain and kidney were removed from the animal and sent to Histopathological study. ā€¢ The result revealed that marked pathological changes in liver, kidney and heart, which were presented in tables with relevant photos. ā€¢ On applying Bio-Statistical measures to the Acute and Chronic toxicity studies, the drug Thetran Chooranam" is found to be Safe upto 640mg/body weight of the animal and the lethal dose of the drug Thetran Chooranam' could not be calculated as there is no mortality of the animals in the study. CONCLUSION: From the above studies, it was concluded that the drug ā€œThetran Chooranamā€ produces mild histopathological changes in liver, kidney and heart during long term administration in higher animal dose i.e., 80mg, but not in lower dose. Hence this drug is always safe to the human, even in long term administration with proper anupanam and pathiyam for the treatment of Ulaimanthai

ABSTRACT Combined study of Hall current and rotation on MHD flow past an accelerated infinite vertical plate in the presence of rotating fluid of variable temperature and mass diffusion with first order chemical reaction has been analyzed. The effects of Hall parameter, Hartmann number, an imposed rotation parameter, thermal Grashof number and mass Grashof number on axial and transverse velocity profiles are presented graphically. It is found that when , the transverse velocity component vanishes and axial velocity attains a maximum value. Keywords: hall parameter, MHD flow, rotation, chemical reaction. INTRODUCTION The phenomenon of MHD flow with heat and mass transfer with chemical reaction have been a subject of interest of many researchers because if its varied applications in science and technology. Heat and Mass transfer problems with chemical reaction are important in many processes such as drying, energy transfer in a wet cooling tower etc., when the strength of the magnetic field is strong; the effect of hall current is negligible. It is of considerable importance and interest to study how the results of the hydro dynamical problems get modified by the effect of hall currents. Dulal Pal Diffusion rates can be altered tremendously by chemical reactions. The effect of a chemical reaction depend whether the reaction is homogeneous or heterogeneous. This depends on whether they occur at an interface or as a single phase volume reaction. In well

Groundwater management is a potential solution to the global water crisis. We assessed the groundwater quality at Mettupalayam, Tamil Nadu, India, in order to determine its suitability for drinking. Groundwater samples were collected and their physicochemical characteristics such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total hardness (TH), total dissolved solids (TDS), Ca2+, Mg2+, SO42- and Cl- were determined and benchmarked with standard drinking water requirements. The variations of these parameters were presented spatially. The groundwater is generally brackish and hard; and of low alkalinity and high salinity. Consequently, the groundwater in most parts of the study area is unsuitable for drinking without treatment. It is recommended that point and nonpoint sources of groundwater pollution at Mettupalayam should be identified, monitored and managed in order to protect the groundwater

poster abstractThe Near Eastside (NES) Indianapolis community is subject to several negative social determinants of oral health, including low income, which can impede access to oral health care and put residents at a higher risk for oral health problems. The Indiana University School of Dentistryā€˜s (IUSD) Healthy Smiles for Employability (HSE) program aims to improve oral health, well-being, and employment outcomes in the NES and neighboring communities by providing dentures to low-income and uninsured residents and connecting them with local agencies that provide job assistance services. Program components of HSE include (1) program organization, (2) community engagement, (3) participant recruitment and enrollment, (4) dental and employment services, and (5) program evaluation. Eligible HSE candidates include individuals who are unemployed or underemployed (i.e. income below 200% federal poverty line), seeking to improve their job situation, and perceive the appearance of their teeth (i.e. missing front teeth) as a barrier for greater employment opportunities. Based on the Stages of Change model, HSE targets individuals in an ā€œactionā€ phase who are seeking employment and trying to improve their employment situation. Enrolled HSE participants receive non-denture dental services at the IUSD-Student Outreach Clinic located in the NES at HealthNet Peopleā€™s Health and Dental Center and denture services at the IUSD Clinic. Collaboration with community organizations such John H. C. Boner Center, Wheeler Mission, Peopleā€™s Health and Dental Center, and others serves as an immense asset to recruit HSE candidates, provide job advancement and retention services, social services and other essential resources to HSE participants. Ongoing program evaluation serves to increase program effectiveness and organization in order to support the success of HSE including its community partners and participants
