    Juramento estimatorio en el ámbito del código general de proceso y la estimación razonada de la cuantía en el código de procedimiento administrativo y de lo contencioso administrativo

    El presente trabajo consiste en una investigación documental, sobre el juramento estimatorio en el ámbito del código general de proceso y la estimación razonada de la cuantía del código de procedimiento administrativo y de lo contencioso administrativo, que son tratados en el ámbito jurídico en lo pertinente a la parte civil y al derecho administrativo. de esta manera, la investigación documental, incluye un esquema de resolución en el que se observa el contexto, y los antecedentes del juramento estimatorio en el ámbito del código general de proceso y la estimación razonada de la cuantía del código de procedimiento administrativo y de lo contencioso administrativo, que son extensivos en la ley sustancial y procesal, donde se definen cada uno de estos conceptos con base en fundamentos sustentados en este escrito. La metodología que se empleó para llevar a cabo este escrito fue método analítico-bibliográfico, para dar cumplimiento al problema jurídico que es las diferencias entre el juramento estimatorio en el ámbito del c.g.p. y la estimación razonada de la cuantía del cpaca, se analizó cada uno de estos temas jurídicos, desde sus inicio hasta la actualidad, con apoyo de códigos, leyes, textos jurídicos, revistas, y jurisprudencia. El resultado del análisis permite diferenciar las características base, de cada uno de los temas, expuestos en este trabajo. Por medio de un cuadro explicativo y puntual, como también determinando que son diferentes y autónomas la una de la otra.The present paper is based on a documental research, about estimatory oath in the procedure general code (cgp) scope and the amount reasoned estimate from the code of administrative procedure and administrative contentious (cpaca), which are treated in the juridical scope relevant to civil part and the administrative law. In this manner, the documental research includes a resolution scheme allowing observe th context and backgounds of the estimatory oath in pgc scope and and the amount reasoned estimate from cpaca, which are extensive from substantive and procedural law, where each concept is defined based in substainted grounds in the present paper. The bibliographic analytic method was used as methodology to accomplish the present paper, to comply the juridical problema, being the difference between the estimatory oath in pgc scope and the amount reasoned estimate from cpaca. each of these juridical subjects were analized, from their beginnings until now, supported in codes, laws, juridical texts, journals and jurisprudence. The results analysis allows to distinguish the basic features of each subject presented in this paper, by means of a puntual explanatory table as well as establishing the difference and autonomy with eachother

    Biogenic production of silver, zinc oxide, and cuprous oxide nanoparticles, and their impregnation into textiles with antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2

    Nanotechnology is being used to fight off infections caused by viruses, and one of the most outstanding nanotechnological uses is the design of protective barriers made of textiles functionalized with antimicrobial agents, with the challenge of combating the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the causal agent of COVID-19. This research is framed within two fundamental aspects: the first one is linked to the proposal of new methods of biogenic synthesis of silver, cuprous oxide, and zinc oxide nanoparticles using organic extracts as reducing agents. The second one is the application of nanomaterials in the impregnation (functionalization) of textiles based on methods called "in situ" (within the synthesis), and "post-synthesis" (after the synthesis), with subsequent evaluation of their effectiveness in reducing the viral load of SARS-CoV-2. The results show that stable, monodisperse nanoparticles with defined geometry can be obtained. Likewise, the "in situ" impregnation method emerges as the best way to adhere nanoparticles. The results of viral load reduction show that 'in situ' textiles with Cu2O NP achieved a 99.79% load reduction of the SARS-CoV-2 virus

    The potential for the application of metal-containing nanomaterials at the nanoscale promotes the opportunity to search for new methods for their elaboration, with special attention to those sustainable methods. In response to these challenges, we have investigated a new method for green synthesis of cuprous oxide nanoparticles (Cu2O NPs) using Myrciaria dubia juice as an organic reductant and, comparing it with chemical synthesis, evaluating in both cases the influence of the volume of the organic (juice) and chemical (ascorbic acid) reductants, for which a large number of techniques such as spectrophotometry, EDX spectrometry, TEM, SEM, DLS, FTIR spectroscopy have been used. Likewise, the nanomaterial with better morphological characteristics, stability, and size homogeneity has been applied in the functionalization of textiles by means of in situ and post-synthesis impregnation methods. The success of the synthesis process has been demonstrated by the antimicrobial activity (bacteria and fungi) of textiles impregnated with Cu2O NPs

    En esta indagación se tuvo como propósito principal “analizar el proceso integral en el control de calidad de imágenes diagnósticas”, para lo cual, se empleó una metodología descriptiva -cualitativa, de modo que se lograra adquirir información con relación a los conceptos y cualidades de modo no numérico, siendo así mismo, no experimental, en vista que no alteraría ni cambiaría las variables de estudio en cuanto a la calidad de las imágenes radiológicas. Por ende, se usó la técnica documental-bibliográfica, recopilando datos teóricos del control de calidad de Rx. Con base a esto, se obtuvo como resultado que, la determinación de las particularidades de imágenes diagnosticas se basan en la norma ISO 9001:2018, esta norma indica que se requiere una mejora continua fundado en el ciclo PHVA (Planificar-Hacer-Verificar-Actuar), para el establecimiento del sistema de gestión de calidad se desempeñe con estos requerimientos. Seguidamente, se determinó que al categorizar los elementos de la geometría de imágenes diagnosticas en la inspección de calidad, es ineludible la apariencia proporcional de las mismas según la estructura del sujeto en estudio, para que no se vea afectado su punto focal, presentando nitidez y mejores detalles. Por último, en el tercer objetivo se expone las influencias de las características visuales de imágenes diagnósticas, para las cuales se toman pruebas para tener un mejor control en los resultados y evitar errores de los que pende el resultado de un diagnóstico clínico y garantizar de este modo la prestación de un servicio de calidad. Se pudo concluir que, en ciertos casos a pesar de la buena calidad de las imágenes en todas sus particularidades, es impreciso conocer las posibles fallas que se presentan, ya sea por situaciones personales del paciente que ha sido sometido a exposición a Rx, cuando la zona es de difícil tratamiento y, por otra parte, la perspectiva que cada médico tratante tiene.The main purpose of this investigation was "to analyze the integral process in the quality control of diagnostic images". For which, a descriptive-qualitative methodology was used, so that it will be able to acquire information in relation to the concepts and qualities in a non-numerical way, being likewise, non-experimental, since it would not alter or change the study variables in regarding the quality of radiological images. Finally, he made use of the documentary-bibliographic technique, collecting theoretical data from Rx quality control. Based on this, it was obtained as a result that the determination of the particularities of diagnostic images was achieved, which are based on the ISO 9001: 2018 standards, where a continuous improvement based on the PDCA cycle is required, for the establishment of the quality management system that they perform with these requirements. Next, it will be extended that when categorizing the elements of the geometry of diagnostic images in the quality inspection, the proportional appearance of the same is unavoidable according to the structure of the subject under study, so that its focal point is not affected, presenting sharpness and better details. Finally, in the third objective, the influences of the visual characteristics of diagnostic images are exposed, for which tests are taken to have better control over the results, and avoid errors, on which the result of a clinical diagnosis depends. , and thus guarantee a guaranteed quality service. It was possible to conclude that, in certain cases, despite the good quality of the images in all their particularities, it is imprecise to know the possible failures, which arise due to personal situations of the patient who has been exposed to Rx, or the area is difficult to treat, and, on the other hand, the perspective that each treating physician has

    Morphometric Analysis of the Host Effect on Phenotypical Variation of Belminus ferroae

    The Triatominae subfamily includes hematophagous insects, well known for their role as vectors for the Trypanosoma cruzi parasite, etiologic agent of Chagas’ disease. Belminus ferroae is a triatomine that showed an increased demographic fitness when cockroaches were used as hosts. Here we compare the centroid size (CS) and wing shape between B. ferroae parents and three successive generations (O1, O2, and O3) of their offspring fed on cockroaches or mice under laboratory conditions. Morphometric analysis of the wings bugs fed on cockroaches showed a significant reduction in CS in both sexes among all generations. Sexual size dimorphism (SSD) was observed in the insects fed on cockroaches (O2 and O3), as well as those bugs fed on mice (O2). Differences in the shape of wings were observed between parental and offspring wings when fed on mice, but not in males (O1, O2, and O3) or females (O1 and O2) fed on cockroaches. There was a greater wing shape similarity between the cockroach-fed offspring and their parents according to the Mahalanobis distances. Our results support the idea of higher adaptation of this Triatominae with arthropod hosts

    Challenges during the realization of an international research project on leishmaniasis in Colombia

    Leishmaniasis is an infectious disease that belongs to the top 10 neglected tropical diseases. It mainly affects the poor population from tropical and subtropical areas of the World, which lacks sufficient resources and means to fight against this disease. With this in mind, the European Commission has funded an international collaborative research project in which are participating various institutions from South America, North Africa and Europe. The main objective of this project is the development of a fast, less expensive, non-invasive and easy to use alternative method for leishmaniasis diagnosis in dogs, one of the main reservoirs of leishmaniasis spread to humans. In this perspective article, we present our personal insight and opinion regarding the challenges of realizing a joint international research project on leishmaniasis in Colombia, a country where leishmaniasis is endemic, as well as regarding the involvement of the Public Health institutions and the local population from this country

    El proyecto de investigación tiene como finalidad establecer una dosificación para el mejoramiento del material de la subrasante existente en el parque tecnológico ambiental guayabal con el aprovechamiento de residuos biosanitarios tratados (RBST). Para ello, se elabora una investigación experimental, para obtener un primer conocimiento de la utilización de este residuo como material en la subrasante de la estructura de los pavimentos. En los resultados se estudia la trazabilidad de los residuos biosanitarios que llegan al Ecosteryl 250C. Seguidamente, se realizan los ensayos de laboratorio necesarios para el estudio del suelo. Igualmente, se establece una dosificación en la cual se puede usar el residuo biosanitario tratado (RBST) en conjunto con el material disgregado de la Subrasante existente en el Parque Tecnológico Ambiental Guayabal. Se elaboran los ensayos de laboratorios de la mezcla del suelo.     Understanding the State of Broadband Connectivity: An Analysis of Speedtests and Emerging Technologies

    The lack of access to broadband services and speeds that allows urban and rural populations to meet the minimum requirements of today’s society creates a lack of economic opportunities and digital inequality. In contrast, regions with adequate broadband infrastructure can attract investors and become the home of tech workers while boosting the local economy. To level the field and promote the expansion and improvement of broadband infrastructure, federal and state agencies in the U.S. provide funding through programs such as the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund, and The Enabling Middle Mile Broadband Infrastructure Program among others. Here, counties assess their broadband infrastructure, identify the funding opportunity, and compete for that funding by submitting grant applications. In this research paper, we present the problems, challenges, and lessons learned during the process of assessment of the broadband infrastructure for Polk County, Florida, USA. In addition, connectivity technologies and physical layer options for broadband internet infrastructure were reviewed and we present our recommendation in terms of technology for the upgrading and expansion of the current network. In particular, we discuss the challenges in determining actual network coverage by contrasting official data of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with several crowd-sensing datasets such M-Lab (Measurement Lab), Ookla Open Datasets, and results from the Polk County community broadband survey. We discuss the advantages and limitations of using these publicly available datasets and open-source tools. Finally, we provide guidelines and best practices in terms of data analysis and visualization that may be used by city planners and researchers
