One of the main challenges in Stock Market is to choose an appropriate combinations of various assets. The aim of this study is to propose a hybrid method, which is able to survey one problem with some criteria that it is very good for investment problem. In this study, we use a hybrid multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) model, which shows the dependent relationships among criteria with DEMATEL method to build a relations-structure among criteria. We then use Analytical Network Process (ANP) to determine the relative weights of each criterion with dependence and feedback, and the VIKOR method is implemented to rank and select the best alternatives for investment. This study is in stock exchange in Iran to select the best stocks and the data are gathered through the years (2006-2010). There are a lot of methods to rank and select of firms that most of the methods just do one, ranking or selecting; but the used method in this study not only ranks the firms but also determines which firms (stocks) are best for investment, so that in this study 2 of 50 firms are proposed for investment

To increase the Internet's reliability and to have greater control over traffic transmission, reliable path selection is important and Multipath routing is promising technique that are used in the communication networks. Finding reliable end-end paths and backup can increase network performance. So, using proper decision metrics and algorithm should be used to paths and backup selection phase in these networks. For this goal, in this paper selecting a more reliable multi disjoint paths is addressed as a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem and availability factor is defined and calculated based on network histories. For decision algorithm, a new fuzzy evaluation method is proposed to rank these multi disjoint paths selection algorithms and it is compared with bandwidth based, TOPSIS, FuzzyTOPSIS and AHP methods as candidate techniques to select more appropriate global disjoint paths in the IP/MPLS networks with packet loss, delay and availability parameters as decision making metrics. The proposed method combines fuzzy theory and Copeland method to evaluate the rank of each proposed method base on bandwidth, delay and new defined availability metric of selected end to end paths. Simulation results show that this method selects more reliable backup paths with better bandwidth in compared with others and can be used to path selection in IP/MPLS networks

Gaucher Disease: New Expanded Classification Emphasizing Neurological Features

Gaucher disease (GD) is a rare inherited metabolic disorder and themost common lysosomal storage disorder, caused by a deficiency inglucocerebrosidase enzyme activity. It has been classified accordingto the neurological manifestations into three types: type 1, withoutneuropathic findings, type 2 with acute infantile neuropathic signsand type 3 or chronic neuropathic form. However, report of newvariants has led to the expansion of phenotype as a clinical phenotypeof GD considered as a continuum of phenotypes. Therefore, it seemsthat a new classification is needed to cover new forms of the disease. Keywords: Gaucher disease; Neurological manifestations; Phenotypes

Potent Anti-Cancer Effects of Less Polar Curcumin Analogues on Gastric Adenocarcinoma and Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cells

Curcumin and its chalcone derivatives inhibit the growth of human cancer cells. It is reported that replacement of two OH groups in curcumin with less polar groups like methoxy increases its anti-proliferative activity. In this study, we explored benzylidine cyclohexanone derivatives with non-polar groups, to see if they possess increased anti-cancer activity. Novel 2,6-bis benzylidine cyclohexanone analogues of curcumin were synthesized, and their inhibitory effects on gastric adenocarcinoma (AGS) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (KYSE30) cancer cells were studied using an MTT assay. Cell apoptosis was detected by EB/AO staining, and cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. Real-time PCR was performed for gene expression analysis. All synthesized analogues were cytotoxic toward gastric and esophageal cancer cells and showed lower IC50 values than curcumin. Treatment with 2,6-Bis-(3-methoxy-4-propoxy-benzylidene)-cyclohexanone (BM2) was 17 times more toxic than curcumin after 48 h incubation. All novel compounds were more effective than curcumin in apoptosis induction and cell cycle arrest at G1 phase. These results suggest that less polar analogues of curcumin have potent cytotoxicity in vitro. However, they need to be investigated further, especially with animal tumor models, to confirm their chemotherapeutic activity in vivo

In this study, the effect of second home tourism on improving the environmental conditions of villages in the central part of Taleghan city (Iran) has been investigated. The research method in this research is descriptive-analytical and the required information has been collected in the field and non-field. The research tool is a questionnaire that validity and reliability have been confirmed through Delphi technique and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. After collecting and processing the data, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used. SPSS software has been used to answer the research hypotheses and to perform calculations. The findings show that second home tourism has been able to have positive effects in improving the environmental conditions in the lives of villagers. tourism of second homes in the village leads to the development of villages and development of green spaces and collection of sewage and garbage of villagers and stabilization and improvement of rural housing, improving the condition of roads and beautification with rural landscapes, improving the environment and physical development of villages and creating educational and communication facilities, improving health services in the village, improving the quality of rural roads, improving worn-out rural structures and establishing the facilities and services required by the village

Application of integrated fuzzy VIKOR & AHP methodology to contractor ranking

Contractor selection is a critical activity, which plays an important role in the overall success of any construction project. The implementation of fuzzy multiple criteria decision attribute (MCDA) in selecting contractors has the advantage of rendering subjective and implicit decision making more objective and transparent. An additional merit of fuzzy MCDA is the ability to accommodate quantitative and qualitative information. In this paper, an integrated VIKOR–AHP methodology is proposed to make a selection among the alternative contractors in one of Iranian construction industry projects. In the proposed methodology, the weights of the selection criteria are determined by fuzzy pairwise comparison matrices of AHP

Background: Anxiety is one of the most common psychological problems among adolescents which have been almost considered by researchers. In this regard, the present study was conducted to examine the effect of the FRIENDS training program on the anxiety of female adolescent clients referred to Tolou-e-Now Health Counseling Center of Bam. Methods: This study was a randomized controlled trial. The statistical population included 65 people of female adolescents with anxiety disorder referred to Tolou-e-Now Health Counseling Center of Bam, who were studying in academic year 2018-2019. Among them 30 people whose total anxiety level were higher than intermediate, were selected through convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to control (n=15) and experimental (n=15) groups. The experimental group received the FRIENDS training program for 10 sessions during 2 months and the control group did not receive any intervention. Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was used to collect data. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance and SPSS software version 22. Results: the results of analyzing the data showed that FRIENDS program training had a statistically significant effect on reducing both obvious and hidden anxiety in female adolescents in experimental compare to control group. The rate of the effect of this training program was estimated 33.4% with statistic potent 92.4. Conclusion: FRIENDS training program could be considered as a protective intervention on reducing anxiety of adolescents
