    Design of a verification and validation framework for an aircraft trajectory computation software suite

    In order to facilitate the optimal development of software, the presence of errors during its operation must be avoided. Consequently, the process of verification and validation plays a critical role in its development. Hence, the purpose of this project is to enhance the procedure mentioned specifically for Dynamo, an aircraft trajectory computation software developed by the Icarus group at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. This project delineates the following objectives: firstly, to attain an in-depth understanding of the testing methodology and software error correction, thereby comprehending the verification and validation process employed in systems. Once the theoretical framework is firmly established, the next objective entails exploring the existing resources and practices within the Icarus group concerning Dynamo. To improve the error correction process, it is necessary to ascertain their current procedures and the reasons for carrying them out. With all this information gathered, the third objective of this project aims to present it to the members of the Icarus group, emphasising the importance of a robust verification and validation process. Moreover, during the topic presentation meeting, any possible requests they may have regarding improvements of the software are collected, aiming to make them as efficient as possible. As the final objective, this project proposes enhancements to refine the testing methodology, along with a manual detailing the steps needed to carry out a proper verification and validation process.By accomplishing these objectives, Dynamo will continue its development and progress in the most effective manner possible

    El treball considera l’evolució de la funció pública a Espanya des de l’hegemonia dels cossos especials. S’ha produït un intent d’hegemonia dels cossos generals i una progressiva laboralització que ha culminat amb l’Estatut del 2007. Aquesta última norma no ha tingut el desplegament esperat per causa de la crisi econòmica. La laboralització ha tingut diversos sentits i ha portat, en l’àmbit de la funció directiva, a una mena de cossos especials laborals. Actualment, ens trobem en una cruïlla on l’apropament a les formes privades coexisteix amb un renaixement d’alguns cossos especials tradicionals.El trabajo considera la evolución de la función pública en España desde la hegemonía de los cuerpos especiales. Se ha producido un intento de hegemonía de los cuerpos generales y una progresiva laboralización que ha culminado con el Estatuto de 2007. Esta última norma no ha alcanzado el esperado desarrollo debido a la crisis económica. La laboralización ha tenido diversos sentidos y ha conducido<A[llevado|traído]> en el ámbito de la función directiva a una especie de cuerpos especiales laborales. Actualmente nos encontramos en una encrucijada en la que el acercamiento a las formas privadas coexiste con un renacimiento de algunos cuerpos especiales tradicionales.This paper considers the development of the civil service in Spain from the perspective of the hegemony of the special entities. There has been an attempt to achieve hegemony for the general entities and a progressive move to group contracts, culminating in the 2007 Statute. This most recent regulation has not been implemented to the degree expected because of the economic crisis. The move to put staff on a group contract basis has had various aspects, and in the area of managerial positions, it has led to the formation of a sort of special entity. We are currently at a crossroads, where the increasing adaptation of private-sector modalities coexists with a renaissance of some traditional special entities

    In the development of this end-of-course work, we are going to reflect how the current modern era in which we live affects the teaching of foreign languages at different levels. The aim is to provide a point of view in which the technological resources available are adapted to educational methodologies, in such a way that these resources are used as useful as possible so that the teaching and learning process is optimized and education is given added value to improve its quality. The subject will be dealt with from a critical perspective, as it is unavoidable to see not only the advantages but also the disadvantages of the use of technologies in teaching, and to consider whether it is worth using these tools and which ones, while also analyzing if the use of digital elements has been ideal up to now. The educational proposal associated with this paper attempts to exemplify one of the many ways of using these resources for foreign language teaching, in this specific case English.En el desarrollo de este trabajo de fin de grado se va a tratar de reflejar cómo la época moderna actual en la que vivimos afecta a la clase de enseñanza de lengua extranjera a diferentes niveles. Se trata de dar un punto de vista en el que los recursos tecnológicos disponibles se adapten a las metodologías educativas, de tal forma que se aprovechen estos recursos lo máximo posible para que se optimice el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, y se le de a la educación un valor agregado para mejorar su calidad. Se va a tratar el tema desde una perspectiva crítica, pues no sólo hay que ver las ventajas sino los inconvenientes del uso de las tecnologías en la enseñanza, y valorar si vale la pena el uso de estas herramientas y cuáles, a la vez que se analiza si el uso de elementos digitales hasta ahora ha sido el idóneo.     El temps de canvis constants que ens ha tocat viure en aquest inici del segle XXI ha provocat una gran sacsejada en el món de l'educació. Tenint en compte que el màxim convenciment del moment present és que res del que anem aprenent o vivint és immutable, cal ser conscients més que mai que ja no és important només «saber-ne molt», sinó «saber aplicar» tot allò que anem aprenent per continuar aprenent més, per poder refer aprenentatges anteriors i per no tenir-ne mai prou... El terme competència (o el fet de ser competent en una matèria) recupera el vell (però també bell) concepte d'educació integral, posant especial èmfasi en la mateixa persona i en les necessitats que el món canviant li va «imposant» però sobretot fent especial atenció en la recerca d'estratègies per anar resolent tot el que es va trobant en la seva quotidianitat, malgrat que no tingui res a veure amb el que un dia va aprendre. Tot això implica un gran canvi en el dia a dia de les escoles, que per primera vegada incideix directament a les aules. Canvi que cal viure com un veritable repte. The times of constant change that we are experiencing in the early 21st century have caused a major shake-up in the world of education. Bearing in mind that the greatest maxim of the present time is that everything we learn or experience is likely to change, it is essential to be more aware than ever that it is important not only “to know a lot”, but also “to know how to apply” everything we learn to carry on learning more, to refresh previous learning and never to have enough. The term “competence” (the fact of being competent in a subject) draws on the old (and fine) concept of integral education, placing particular emphasis on the person and the needs that the changing world imposes on him or her, and above all, paying particular attention to research into strategies aimed at resolving all the issues that he or she comes up against in his or her daily life, despite the fact that such issues may not bear any relation to what he or she may have learnt. All of this involves a major change in the day-to-day operation of schools and, for the first time ever, it impacts directly on the classroom. A change should be experienced as a true challenge.
