    THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPH AS A VISUAL AID IN TEACHING REPORT TEXT WRITING

    This study was conducted to explore the use of photograph as a visual aid by the teacher in teaching report text writing. This study was a descriptive qualitative case study. The participants of this study were an English teacher as the main participant of this study and a ninth grade class of one of Junior High School in Bandung consisted of 35 students. The data were obtained from classroom observation and interview. The overall findings revealed the whole process of the use of photograph as a visual aid by the teacher from the consideration in designing the lesson plan, selecting the photographs, the findings in classroom observation and interview. Furthermore, this research also showed several findings, those arethe use of photograph helps the teacher in delivering the material, the use of photograph can connect the students with their experience in their own environment, and for the students, the use of photograph can create enthusiasm to the lesson.; Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengeskplore penggunaan fotograf sebagai media visual oleh guru dalam mengajar menulis teks report. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus yang dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Partisipan yang berkontribusi diantaranya adalah guru bahasa Inggris sebagai subjek utama and 35 murid di kelas sembilan di sebuah SMP di Bandung. Selanjutnya, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi kelas dan wawancara. Demikian, penemuan di penelitian ini melingkupi seluruh proses dari penggunaan fotograf sebagai media visual oleh guru, mulai dari pertimbangan dalam menyusun RPP, pemilihan fotograf, dan penemuan dalam observasi kelas dan wawancara. Selanjutnya, terdapat beberapa kesimpulan yang didapat, diantaranya adalah penggunaan fotograf membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran, penggunaan fotogtraf dapat menghubungkan materi yang disampaikan dengan pengalaman siswa dalam lingkungan mereka, dan bagi siswa penggunaan fotograf dapat menimbulkan semangat dalam belajar

    THE EFFECT OF APPLAYING COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL SEND GREETINGS AND QUESTIONS TECHNIQUE TOWORD LEARNING OUTCOME IN MATHEMATIC CLASS AT SMA 3 PARIAMAN

    This research is aimed to clarify the effectiveness of applying of cooperative learning model send greeting and questions technique toward learning outcome in mathematics class XI IPA SMAN 3 Pariaman.  The design of this research was randomized experiment with control group only design. The populations of the research are all students of class XI IPA SMAN 3 Pariaman academic year 2017/2018. The sample was two of fourth classes; both classes were XI IPA 1 as experimental class and XI IPA 2 as control class. The technique of analyzing data was hypothesis t-test. The result of this research shown that means score of experiments class was 74 and the average math learning outcomes means control class was 66 averages higher than the experiment class. The result of t-test analysis was obtained t = 6.46 and t table = 1.67 on the real level of 0.05 with df = 56 , t-calculate> t-table. The H 0 was rejected and H 1 was accepted, so it is concluded that applying of cooperative learning model send greeting and questions technique provides a significant effect of the learning outcomes in mathematic class XI IPA SMAN 3 Pariaman

    The Effect of Team Game Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Learning Method Application Towards Learning Motivation and Achievement

    Introduction: Learning method of Team Game Tournament (TGT) has student-centered learning characteristic focuses on students’ knowledge construction in which they could find important information useful for constructing their own knowledge. The continuous weak comprehension of neurology system anatomy and physiology resulted in the application of TGT for constructing students’ knowledge in this study. This study aimed to analyze the efficacy of TGT application for improving learning motivation and achievement in studying neurology system anatomy and physiology among nursing students. Methods: This pre-experimental study used the one group pretest post-test design approach. Target population was all nursing students in two institutions around Surabaya in the even semester of 2016/2017 academic year. Inclusion criteria were passed the course of Biomedical II or Nursing Basics I. Sample size was 143 chose by total sampling. Independent variable was TGT application and dependent variables were learning motivation and achievement. Study instruments were motivation questionnaire and objective test. Data analysis used paired t-test and Mann-Whitney test with α ≤ 0.05. Ethical clearance was issued (number: 449-KEPK). Results: Most respondents were 19 years old single female who chose nursing major because of their dream, and the majority still live with parents in their own house. Only learning motivation data that were normally distributed. TGT application could increase learning motivation and achievement of nursing students significantly (p=0.000 and p=0.028 respectively).  Conclusions: TGT application could increase learning motivation and achievement in studying neurology system anatomy and physiology among nursing students. Further implementation could be broad, other subjects in nursing could be the target in which difficult subject would be underlined.

    ABSTRACT Law Number 5 Year 1999 became a new step for Indonesia in realizing the provisions in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution based on the principle of economic democracy justice. The consequence of the Act is the establishment of KPPU as an independent state institution authorized to supervise business competition and to impose sanctions regardless of the influence of the government and other parties. This thesis discusses two issues, firstly, how the position of KPPU in the constitutional system, and the second discusses how the KPPU authority according to the Antimonopoly Law. The research is conducted by normative juridical method, the purpose of this research is to know how the position of KPPU in the constitutional system and to know how KPPU's authority in conducting supervision based on Antimonopoly Law. The result of research indicates that the position of KPPU in the constitutional system is as an independent non-structural state institution which is under the executive authority and the authority of KPPU itself is only listed in Article 36 of the Antimonopoly Law.     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan satu untuk mengetahui bentuk penanaman nilai-nilai moderasi moderasi beragama pada santri Pondok Pesantren Walisongo Simpang Propau Lampung Utara, kedua untuk mengetahui metode dalam menanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Walisongo Simpang Propau Lampung Utara. Maka peneliti akan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dan jenis pendekatan penelitiannya kualitatif. Adapun proses pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk analisisnya, peneliti menggunakan empat langkah analisis data yaitu data collection, data condensation, data display, dan conclusion. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh : Bentuk penanaman Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama di Pondok Pesantren Walisongo Simpang Propau Lampung Utara yaitu menguatkan pola pikir, cara pandang dan praktik keagamaan moderat santri melalui pembelajaran kelas. Dalam upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang diperuntukkan bagi santri. Pondok Pesantren Walisongo Simpang Propau Lampung Utara berupaya membekali santri dengan menguatkan pemahaman pola pikir, cara pandang, dan praktik keagamaan dengan pembelajaran ta’lim yang dilakukan secara langsung. Adapun nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan kepada santri meliputi; Satu Tawassuth, (pengambilan jalan tengah), merupakan bentuk pengalaman serta pemahaman di dalam agama yang tidak melakukan pengurangan ajaran di agama atau tafrith dan tidak berlebihan atau tidak ifrath. Kedua Tawazun (berkeseimbangan), adalah pengalaman maupun pemahaman dalam kehidupan di duniawi dan ukrawi dimana prinsip dinyatakan secara tegas supaya mampu membedakan terkait dengan ikhtilaf (perbedaan) atau inhiraf (penyimpangan). Ketiga I’tidal (tegas dan lurus), adalah proses penempatan sesuatu di tempat yang disediakan serta kewajiban dipenuhi dengan proporsional, serta haknya dilaksanakan. Keempat Tasamuh (toleransi), tasamuh berasal dari Bahasa Arab yang berarti saling mengizinkan, saling memudahkan. Dalam perngertian lain tasamuh (toleransi) adalah iv proses dalam melakukan penghormatan serta pengakuan terhadap perbedaan dari segi apapun. Kelima Musawah (egaliter), adalah tidak adanya sikap diskriminatif terhadap orang lain karena adanya penyebab berupa tradisi, keyakinan, dan asal usulnya yang berbeda. Keenam Syura (musyawarah), yaitu penyelesaian setiap ada masalah dengan cara melakukan musyawarah demi memperoleh kemufakatan, tentunya kemaslahatan diterapkan. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui metode dalam menanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Walisongo Simpang Propau Lampung Utara ada beberapa metode yang digunakan. Satu Metode Ceramah, Kedua Metode diskusi, Ketiga Konseling dan Keempat Metode Silaturahmi. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Dakwah Dan Moderasi Beragama v ABSTRACT This study aims one to find out the form of instilling the values of moderation of religious moderation in the students of the Walisongo Islamic Boarding School Simpang Propau North Lampung, the second is to find out the method of instilling the values of religious moderation in the students at the Walisongo Islamic Boarding School Simpang Propau North Lampung. Then the researcher will use qualitative research, and the type of qualitative research approach. As for the data collection process, researchers used observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. As for the analysis, the researcher used four steps of data analysis, namely data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The research results obtained: The form of inculcating the values of religious moderation at the Walisongo Islamic Boarding School, Simpang Propau, North Lampung, namely strengthening the mindset, perspective and moderate religious practices of students through classroom learning. In an effort to instill the values of religious moderation intended for santri. Walisongo Islamic Boarding School, Simpang Propau, North Lampung seeks to equip students by strengthening their understanding of mindsets, perspectives, and religious practices with direct ta'lim learning. The values instilled in students include; One Tawassuth, (taking the middle way), is a form of experience and understanding in religion that does not reduce religious teachings or tafrith and is not excessive or does ifrath. Second, Tawazun (balance), is experience and understanding in worldly and ukrawi life where principles are stated explicitly so that they are able to distinguish those related to ikhtilaf (differences) or inhiraf (deviations). Third, I'tidal (firm and straight), is the process of placing something in the space provided and fulfilling obligations proportionally, and exercising their rights. The fourth Tasamuh (tolerance), tasamuh comes from Arabic which means allowing each other, facilitating each other. In another sense, tasamuh (tolerance) is a process of respecting and acknowledging differences in any way. Fifth Musawah (egalitarian), is the absence of discriminatory attitudes towards other people vi because of the causes in the form of different traditions, beliefs, and origins. Sixth Shura (deliberation), namely solving every problem there is by conducting deliberations in order to obtain consensus, of course the benefit is applied. Meanwhile, to find out the method of instilling the values of religious moderation in students at the Walisongo Islamic Boarding School, Simpang Propau, North Lampung, there are several methods used.
