Influence of coach encouragement on technical demand of an small-sided games in football-7.
El objetivo del presente estudio ha sido analizar el efecto de la motivación del entrenador sobre la demanda técnica de un juego reducido (JR) 3 contra 3, realizado por futbolistas de categoría alevín, observando el nivel de aprendizaje técnico adquirido a través de estas tareas.
Se han cuantificado el número de acciones técnicas que se producen en un JR de 3 contra 3 sin intervención del entrenador (JRSIE) y las que se producen en el mismo JR con la intervención del entrenador (JRCME). Se ha realizado en cada una de las 4 sesiones del programa de entrenamiento con JR dos test de valoración del dominio técnico en situaciones pre y post sesión.
Los resultados confirman que aparecen diferencias en el número de acciones técnicas que el jugador realiza durante el JR, siendo significativamente mayor en el JRCME, generándose además mayor nivel de aprendizaje
Some analytic results for two-loop scattering amplitudes
We present analytic results for the finite diagrams contributing to the
two-loop eight-point MHV scattering amplitude of planar N=4 SYM. We use a
recently proposed representation for the integrand of the amplitude in terms of
(momentum) twistors and focus on a restricted kinematics in which the answer
depends only on two independent cross-ratios. The theory of motives can be used
to vastly simplify the results, which can be expressed as simple combinations

Porous medium equation with nonlocal pressure
We provide a rather complete description of the results obtained so far on
the nonlinear diffusion equation , which describes a flow through a porous medium driven by a
nonlocal pressure. We consider constant parameters and , we assume
that the solutions are non-negative, and the problem is posed in the whole
space. We present a theory of existence of solutions, results on uniqueness,
and relation to other models. As new results of this paper, we prove the
existence of self-similar solutions in the range when and , and the
asymptotic behavior of solutions when . The cases and were

The Dual Effect of Coordinating -NH Groups and Light in the Electrochemical CO2 Reduction with Pyridylamino Co Complexes
CO2 electroreduction could be improved by applying conceptualized strategies to overcome catalytic bottlenecks. In this regard, we report two new cobalt(II) complexes [Co(Py-2(R)N-3)(OTf)](OTf) (Co(R), R=H, Me) based on a new C-2-symmetric pentacoordinate chiral ligand that are active on the electrochemical CO2 reduction to CO. One of the complexes has a N-H group oriented towards the CO2 binding site (Co-H), while the other has a N-Me group with the same orientation (Co-Me), as showed by X-ray diffraction. We have studied the effect of introducing hydrogen bonding sites, i. e. N-H in Co-H, as a strategy to stabilize reaction intermediates. The complex bearing coordinating unprotected N-H group (Co-H) displays catalytic CO2 reduction at the Co-II/I redox potential (-1.9 V vs. Fc, ca. 40 % FYCO) whereas Co-Me shows CO2 reduction at the Co-I/0 redox pair. FTIR-SEC and DFT calculations identified a [Co-I-CO](+) cation as catalytic intermediate. The beneficial effect of the N-H group has been attributed to the stabilization of reaction intermediates or transition states and by the larger electron-donating capacity, thus enhancing the nucleophilic character of the Co-I intermediate. The study also points to the CO dissociation from the Co(I)-CO resting state intermediate as one of the bottlenecks of the catalytic cycle, which can be overcome with light irradiation, resulting in an increase of the total CO production (-1.9 V, 81 % FYCO, 11.2 TONCO) at the Co-II/I redox potential
From correlation functions to Wilson loops
We start with an n-point correlation function in a conformal gauge theory. We
show that a special limit produces a polygonal Wilson loop with sides. The
limit takes the points towards the vertices of a null polygonal Wilson loop
such that successive distances . This produces a fast moving
particle that generates a "frame" for the Wilson loop. We explain in detail how
the limit is approached, including some subtle effects from the propagation of
a fast moving particle in the full interacting theory. We perform perturbative

Decoding the CO2 Reduction Mechanism of a Highly Active Organometallic Manganese Electrocatalyst: Direct Observation of a Hydride Intermediate and Its Implications
A detailed mechanistic study of the electrochemical CO2 reduction catalyzed by the fac-[Mn-I(CO)(3)(bis-(NHC)-N-Me)MeCN](+) complex (1-MeCN+ ) is reported herein by combining in situFTIR spectroelectrochemistry(SEC), synthesis and characterization of catalytic intermediates,and DFT calculations. Under low proton concentrations, 1-MeCN+ efficiently catalyzes CO2 electroreductionwith long catalyst durability and selectivity toward CO (ca. 100%). The [Mn-I(CO)(3)(bis-(NHC)-N-Me)](-) anion (1(-) ) and the tetracarbonyl [Mn-I(CO)(4)(bis-(NHC)-N-Me)](+) complex (1-CO+ )are key intermediates of the catalytic CO2-to-CO mechanismdue to their impact on the selectivity and the reaction rate, respectively.Increasing the proton concentration increases formate production (upto 15% FE), although CO remains the major product. The origin of formateis ascribed to the competitive protonation of 1(-) to form a Mn(I) hydride (1-H), detected by SECin the absence of CO2. 1-H was also synthesizedand thoroughly characterized, including by X-ray diffraction analysis.Stoichiometric reactivity studies of 1-H with CO2 and labeled (CO2)-C-13 indicate a fast formationof the corresponding neutral Mn(I) formate species (1-OCOH) at room temperature. DFT modeling confirms the intrinsic capabilityof 1-H to undergo hydride transfer to CO2 dueto the strong & sigma;-donor properties of the bis-(Me)NHCmoiety. However, the large potential required for the HCOO- release from 1-OCOH limits the overall catalytic CO2-to-HCOO- cycle. Demographic and clinical characteristics of patients with α1-antitrypsin deficiency genotypes PI*ZZ and PI*SZ in the Spanish registry of EARCO
Spanish registry; Clinical characteristicsRegistre espanyol; Característiques clíniquesRegistro español; Características clínicasBackground The Spanish registry of α1-antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) integrated in the European Alpha-1 Research Collaboration (EARCO) provides information about the characteristics of patients, in particular those with the PI*SZ genotype, which is frequent in Spain.
Method Individuals with severe AATD defined as proteinase inhibitor (PI) genotypes PI*ZZ, PI*SZ and other rare deficient variants were included from February 1, 2020, to February 1, 2022. The analysis focused on a comparison of the characteristics of PI*ZZ and PI*SZ patients.
Results 409 patients were included (53.8% men) with a mean±sd age of 53.5±15.9 years. Genotypes were PI*ZZ in 181 (44.7%), PI*SZ in 163 (40.2%), PI*SS in 29 (7.2%) and other in 32 (7.9%). 271 (67.4%) had lung disease: 175 chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (43.5%), 163 emphysema (40.5%) and 83 bronchiectasis (20.6%). Patients with the PI*SZ genotype were younger, more frequently non-index cases and had a lower frequency of respiratory diseases except asthma compared with PI*ZZ patients. Among patients with respiratory diseases, PI*SZ individuals were significantly older both at onset of symptoms and at diagnosis; only asthma was more frequent in PI*SZ than in PI*ZZ individuals. Twelve PI*SZ patients (15.4%) received augmentation therapy compared with 94 PI*ZZ patients (66.2%; p<0.001).
Conclusions There is a high prevalence of PI*SZ in Spain. Patients with the PI*SZ genotype were older at symptom onset and diagnosis and had less severe lung disease compared with PI*ZZ patients. The prevalence of asthma was higher in PI*SZ, and up to 15% of PI*SZ patients received augmentation therapy
Transformation of spin information into large electrical signals via carbon nanotubes
Spin electronics (spintronics) exploits the magnetic nature of the electron,
and is commercially exploited in the spin valves of disc-drive read heads.
There is currently widespread interest in using industrially relevant
semiconductors in new types of spintronic devices based on the manipulation of
spins injected into a semiconducting channel between a spin-polarized source
and drain. However, the transformation of spin information into large
electrical signals is limited by spin relaxation such that the magnetoresistive
signals are below 1%. We overcome this long standing problem in spintronics by
demonstrating large magnetoresistance effects of 61% at 5 K in devices where
the non-magnetic channel is a multiwall carbon nanotube that spans a 1.5 micron
gap between epitaxial electrodes of the highly spin polarized manganite
La0.7Sr0.3MnO3. This improvement arises because the spin lifetime in nanotubes
is long due the small spin-orbit coupling of carbon, because the high nanotube
Fermi velocity permits the carrier dwell time to not significantly exceed this
spin lifetime, because the manganite remains highly spin polarized up to the
manganite-nanotube interface, and because the interfacial barrier is of an
appropriate height. We support these latter statements regarding the interface
using density functional theory calculations. The success of our experiments

DNA damage precedes apoptosis during the regression of the interdigital tissue in vertebrate embryos
DNA damage independent of caspase activation accompanies programmed cell death in different vertebrate embryonic organs. We analyzed the significance of DNA damage during the regression of the interdigital tissue, which sculpts the digits in the embryonic limb. Interdigit remodeling involves oxidative stress, massive apoptosis and cell senescence. Phosphorylation of H2AX mediated by ATM precedes caspase dependent apoptosis and cell senescence during interdigit regression. The association of ?H2AX with other downstream DNA repair factors, including MDC1, Rad50 and 53BP1 suggests a defensive response of cells against DNA damage. The relative distribution of cells ?H2AX-only positive, TUNEL-only positive, and cells double positive for both markers is consistent with a sequence of degenerative events starting by damage of the DNA. In support of this interpretation, the relative number of ?H2AX-only cells increases after caspase inhibition while the relative number of TUNELonly cells increases after inhibition of ATM. Furthermore, cultured interdigits survived and maintained intense chondrogenic potential, even at advanced stages of degeneration, discarding a previous commitment to die. Role of the employment status and education of mothers in the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infections in Mexican rural schoolchildren
<p><b>Background:</b> Intestinal parasitic infections are a public health problem in developing countries such as Mexico. As a result, two governmental programmes have been implemented: a) "National Deworming Campaign" and b) "Opportunities" aimed at maternal care. However, both programmes are developed separately and their impact is still unknown. We independently investigated whether a variety of socio-economic factors, including maternal education and employment levels, were associated with intestinal parasite infection in rural school children.</p>
<p><b>Methods:</b> This cross-sectional study was conducted in 12 rural communities in two Mexican states. The study sites and populations were selected on the basis of the following traits: a) presence of activities by the national administration of albendazole, b) high rates of intestinal parasitism, c) little access to medical examination, and d) a population having less than 2,500 inhabitants. A total of 507 schoolchildren (mean age 8.2 years) were recruited and 1,521 stool samples collected (3 per child). Socio-economic information was obtained by an oral questionnaire. Regression modelling was used to determine the association of socio-economic indicators and intestinal parasitism.</p>
<p><b>Results:</b> More than half of the schoolchildren showed poliparasitism (52%) and protozoan infections (65%). The prevalence of helminth infections was higher in children from Oaxaca (53%) than in those from Sinaloa (33%) (p < 0.0001). Giardia duodenalis and Hymenolepis nana showed a high prevalence in both states. Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura and Entamoeba hystolitica/dispar showed low prevalence. Children from lower-income families and with unemployed and less educated mothers showed higher risk of intestinal parasitism (odds ratio (OR) 6.0, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.6–22.6; OR 4.5, 95% CI 2.5–8.2; OR 3.3, 95% CI 1.5–7.4 respectively). Defecation in open areas was also a high risk factor for infection (OR 2.4, 95% CI 2.0–3.0).</p>
<p><b>Conclusion:</b> Intestinal parasitism remains an important public health problem in Sinaloa (north-western Mexico) and Oaxaca (south-eastern Mexico). Lower income, defecation in open areas, employment status and a lower education level of mothers were the significant factors related to these infections. We conclude that mothers should be involved in health initiatives to control intestinal parasitism in Mexico.</p>
