Self-organization of charge under pressure in the organic conductor (TMTSF)2ReO4
(TMTSF)2ReO4 presents a phase coexistence between two anion orderings defined
by their wave vectors q_2=(1/2,1/2,1/2) and q_3=(0,1/2,1/2) in a wide range of
pressure (8-11kbar) and temperature. From the determination of the anisotropy
of the conductivity and the superconducting transitions in this regime we were
able to extract the texture which results from a self-organization of the
orientations of the ReO4 anions in the sample. At the lowest pressures, the
metallic parts, related to the q_3 order, form droplets elongated along the
a-axis embedded in the semiconducting matrix associated with the q_2 order.
Above 10kbar, filaments along the a-axis extend from one end of the sample to
the other nearly up to the end of the coexistence regime. A mapping of the
system into an anisotropic Ising lattice is satisfactory to analyze the data.

Unconventional spin density wave in Bechgaard salt (TMTSF)2NO3
Among many Bechgaard salts, TMTSF2NO3 exhibits very anomalous low temperature
properties. Unlike conventional spin density wave (SDW), TMTSF2NO3 undergoes
the SDW transition at \T_SDW\approx 9.5 K and the low temperature
quasiparticle excitations are gapless. Also, it is known that TMTSF2NO3 does
not exhibit superconductivity even under pressure, while FISDW is found in
TMTSF2NO3 only for P=8.5 kbar and B>20 T. Here we shall show that both the
angle dependent magnetoresistance data and the nonlinear Hall resistance of
TMTSF2NO3 at ambient pressure are interpreted satisfactory in terms of
unconventional spin density wave (USDW). Based on these facts, we propose a new
phase diagram for Bechgaards salts.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figs, RevTe
Effects of Lifshitz Transition on Charge Transport in Magnetic Phases of Fe-Based Superconductors
The unusual temperature dependence of the resistivity and its in-plane
anisotropy observed in the Fe-based superconducting materials, particularly
Ba(FeCo)As, has been a longstanding puzzle. Here we
consider the effect of impurity scattering on the temperature dependence of the
average resistivity within a simple two-band model of a dirty spin density wave
metal. The sharp drop in resistivity below the N\'eel temperature in the
parent compound can only be understood in terms of a Lifshitz transition
following Fermi surface reconstruction upon magnetic ordering. We show that the
observed resistivity anisotropy in this phase, arising from nematic defect
structures, is affected by the Lifshitz transition as well.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure
Women in police profession: their vertical mobility and integration - the case study of the Belgrade ity police department of the Ministry of interior of the Republic of Serbia
Na nivou svakodnevnice, žene su dvostruko opterećene poslom i porodicom, a simultano ispunjavanje profesionalnih i porodičnih obaveza umanjuje njihove mogućnosti da se potpuno posvete policijskoj karijeri...The aim of this study was to gain insight into the professional integration and vertical mobility of women employed in the Belgrade City Police, as well as basic characteristics of their professional status. Integration involves the representation of women in all sectors and at all levels of police services, and access to various resources of importance to the profession. Vertical mobility is a specific aspect of integration that shows access for women to positions of decision-making and resources.
In the study, we analyzed the problem on the social, organizational and individual level. At the social level, women are at a disadvantage compared to men because the Serbian society is patriarchal. At the organizational level, women are under pressure of effect of glass ceiling, professional marginalization and segregation, and their are less represented in operational police work and management positions. At the level of everyday life, women are doubly burdened with work and family, a simultaneous fulfillment of professional and family obligations which diminishes their ability to fully commit to a police career..
Hole-depletion of ladders in SrCuO induced by correlation effects
The hole distribution in SrCuO is studied by low
temperature polarization dependent O K Near-Edge X-ray Absorption Fine
Structure measurements and state of the art electronic structure calculations
that include core-hole and correlation effects in a mean-field approach.
Contrary to all previous analysis, based on semi-empirical models, we show that
correlations and antiferromagnetic ordering favor the strong chain
hole-attraction. For the remaining small number of holes accommodated on
ladders, leg-sites are preferred to rung-sites. The small hole affinity of
rung-sites explains naturally the 1D - 2D cross-over in the phase diagram of

Local atomic structure and discommensurations in the charge density wave of CeTe3
The local structure of CeTe3 in the incommensurate charge density wave
(IC-CDW) state has been obtained using atomic pair distribution function (PDF)
analysis of x-ray diffraction data. Local atomic distortions in the Te-nets due
to the CDW are larger than observed crystallographically, resulting in distinct
short and long Te-Te bonds. Observation of different distortion amplitudes in
the local and average structures are explained by the discommensurated nature
of the CDW since the PDF is sensitive to the local displacements within the
commensurate regions whereas the crystallographic result averages over many
discommensurated domains. The result is supported by STM data. This is the
first quantitative local structural study within the commensurate domains in an
IC-CDW system.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
