ChatGPT vs State-of-the-Art Models: A Benchmarking Study in Keyphrase Generation Task
Transformer-based language models, including ChatGPT, have demonstrated
exceptional performance in various natural language generation tasks. However,
there has been limited research evaluating ChatGPT's keyphrase generation
ability, which involves identifying informative phrases that accurately reflect
a document's content. This study seeks to address this gap by comparing
ChatGPT's keyphrase generation performance with state-of-the-art models, while
also testing its potential as a solution for two significant challenges in the
field: domain adaptation and keyphrase generation from long documents. We
conducted experiments on six publicly available datasets from scientific
articles and news domains, analyzing performance on both short and long
documents. Our results show that ChatGPT outperforms current state-of-the-art
models in all tested datasets and environments, generating high-quality
keyphrases that adapt well to diverse domains and document lengths
Cosmological scaling solutions of minimally coupled scalar fields in three dimensions
We examine Friedmann-Robertson-Walker models in three spacetime dimensions.
The matter content of the models is composed of a perfect fluid, with a
-law equation of state, and a homogeneous scalar field minimally
coupled to gravity with a self-interacting potential whose energy density
red-shifts as , where a denotes the scale factor. Cosmological
solutions are presented for different range of values of and .
The potential required to agree with the above red-shift for the scalar field
energy density is also calculated.Comment: LaTeX2e, 11 pages, 4 figures. To be published in Classical and

Ischemic Stroke and Epilepsy in a Patient with Tourette´s Syndrome: Association with the Antiphospholipid Syndrome and Good Response to Levetiracetam
The role played by different humoral factors, including antiphospholipid antibodies, in the pathogenesis of Tourette syndrome (TS) is still presently unclear. We present a patient with chronic and severe TS who, at the age of 16 years, presented an ischemic stroke in the left posterior cerebral artery and/or postero-inferior temporal branch of the left medial cerebral artery. A complete study was negative with the exception of a positive lupus anticoagulant. The stroke was related with the primary antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). The stroke manifested visual abnormalities and thereafter by secondary generalized complex partial seizures. The epileptic syndrome was initially difficult to control but responded dramatically to levetiracetam. With this therapy, the manifestations of TS, especially the tics, improved. We conclude that some TS cases may present APS. In addition, levetiracetam may be useful in the management of TS. Further investigations should pursue both these facts
Light‐Emitting Diodes: Progress in Plant Micropropagation
In commercial micropropagation laboratories, the light source is one of the most important factors controlling plant morphogenesis and metabolism of plant cells and tissue and organ cultures. Lamp manufacturers have begun to rate lamps specifically for plant needs. The traditional light source used for in vitro propagation is fluorescent lamps (FLs). However, power consumption in FL use is expensive and produces a wide range of wavelengths (350–750 nm) unnecessary for plant development. Light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) have recently emerged as an alternative for commercial micropropagation. The flexibility of matching LED wavelengths to plant photoreceptors may provide more optimal production, influencing plant morphology and chlorophyll content. Although previous reports have confirmed physiological effects of LED light quality on morphogenesis and growth of several plantlets in vitro, these study results showed that LED light is more suitable for plant morphogenesis and growth than FLs. However, the responses vary according to plant species. This chapter describes the applications and benefits of LED lamps on chlorophyll in plant micropropagation. Two study cases are exposed, Anthurium (Anthurium andreanum) and moth orchids (Phalaenopsisis sp.), both species with economic importance as ornamental plants, where LEDs have a positive effect on in vitro development and chlorophyll content
New Physics effects in the flavor-changing neutral couplings of the Top quark
We survey the flavor-changing neutral couplings (FCNC) of the top quark
predicted by some extensions of the Standard Model: THDM, SUSY, L-R symmetric,
TC2, 331, and models with extra quarks. Since the expected sensitivity of the
LHC and ILC for the tcV (V=\gamma,g,Z) and tcH couplings is of order of a few
percent, we emphasize the importance of any new physics effect that gives a
prediction for these FCNC couplings within this limit. We also review the
constraints imposed on these couplings from low-energy precision measurements.Comment: 19 pages, 7 figures. Accepted as a review paper in Int. J. of Mod.

From 1973 to 1992, 20 cases of pathological fractures around the hip secondary
to skeletal metastases were treated in our institution. The surgical treatment was performed
by internal fixation or arthroplasty according the location and extension of the lesion. In 8
cases the fracture was located in the femoral neck, 6 cases were intertrochanteric fractures
and 6 cases were subtrochanteric fractures. In the surgical management the importance of inmediately
internal fixation, with the use of methylnietacrilate and post surgical radiotherapy
are justified. Always the pain was relieved and the functional result was good in 70%. In 7
cases were local complications. The surgical treatment should be more agresive in these special
patients, because the inmediately rehabilitation is essential in your quality lifes
