Izhar M. 2021. Study on the understanding of civil servants of the office of environment and business actors on the government regulation number 22 of 2021 concerning environmental protection and management in Banyuasin District. In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-9 Tahun 2021, Palembang 20 Oktober 2021. pp. 811-815.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI). After the issuance of the Law 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and its derivative regulations, the paradigm of licensing arrangements, especially environmental permits, underwent a significant change. These changes include those in the nomenclature of environmental permits to environmental approvals and changes to environmental management and protection permits to technical approvals.  The lack of understanding of this regulation by ASN (civil servant) in the Office of Environment of Banyuasin District has caused confusion and concern for business actors in managing environmental permits.  This study aimed to find out the level of understanding of ASN of the Office of  Environment and Business Actors in Banyuasin District regarding the application of Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 which resulted in non-optimal services in the management of environmental permits The method was random by conducting interviews and questionnaires to 10 ASN and 20 business actors in Banyuasin District. The results of this study showed that ASN's understanding of this regulation reached almost 50 percent and that of business actors reached 80 percent.  In conclusion, there was still a very minimal understanding of ASN and Business Actors on the Implementation of Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021. It is necessary to carry out Socialization and Technical Guidance to improve understanding of Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021

Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in an sp2-hybridized structure with properties far superior compared to other materials. Research and development in graphene synthesis have been rapidly growing the past few years especially using chemical vapor deposition (CVD). However, in order to move graphene from laboratory scale to commercial domain; graphene synthesis cost need to be continually reduced. In this thesis, this problem was approached from a few angles. One of the study in this thesis demonstrate that rice straw and synthetic biogas, typical wastes from the rice and palm oil production industries can be used as inexpensive carbon source for the production of graphene. In the case of rice straw, the lignocellulosic biomass was first put through thermal pyrolysis in order to obtain the bio-oil and bio-char. Only 0.50 mL of bio-oil was then used as carbon source to sufficiently synthesized 1 cm x 1 cm of large area graphene with good quality (ID/IG = ~0.55) via a two-heating source setup ambient pressure CVD (APCVD) . By doing this, the amount of carbon source going out as effluent is reduced as it has been recovered as side-products prior to graphene growth. The bio-char was also used as carbon source for graphene growth but with a novel and facile carbon trapping assisted APCVD involving customized quartz plate. Here, 2.5 mg of bio-char was encapsulated with quartz plate and Cu foil in a specific arrangement which acted as carbon shields and trapped the carbon active species at high temperature within the confined space of the setup. By implementing carbon trapping, lesser amount of carbon source was needed for graphene growth of the same size; graphene growth efficiency increased around 400 %. Lastly, the effluent of the graphene growth process was converted into syngas when synthetic biogas was used as the carbon precursor with Ni as the catalyst at 900 oC in a one-step process; turning waste into wealth

Every places needs a good parking management especially in the populated area. The number of people is getting higher throughout the year. Based on the statistics, the number of residents in the well-developed country is going to be increased drastically from 2015. People who are responsible needs to balance the demand and the supply of the parking. They are playing a very important role to overcome any problems regarding this matter. Without parking management, the parking problems will never be solved. This parking problem is not only causing frustrating and anxiety among the road users, it also influences them to cheat when it comes to park. This thing happened in most of the urban areas, even in the university campus, people would love to cheat by parking at the illegal places. There are so many parking abuses that can be found in the campus. It seems like the rules of parking in the campus are meaningless for them. That is why the main purpose of this project is to improve the parking management and reduce the parking problem in UTP campus. There are so many ways and solutions to solve the parking problem based on the research papers. Some of them are quiet suitable to be implemented in the university campu

Biology is a science built on various concepts, one of them is the concept of ecology. The difference in conceptual understanding from what has been agreed by experts is described as a misconception that can impact decision making including students’ learning outcomes. It is crucial to identify the existing misconception in ecological material to avoid sustainable misconception during studying ecological material, because misconception can impact students’ learning outcomes during learning. This study aims to produce a valid ecology misconception test instrument for 10th-grade high school students. This research is development research conducted using 4D research design consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This ecology misconception test instrument was developed using three-tier test method on ecology material to map students’ conceptual understanding of ecological material. The parameter used is the instrument test validity, including the content, construction, and language aspects determined by calculating the percentage of profit validity for each item according to the aspects tested. The validation process of this misconception test instrument was reviewed by 3 validators consisting of ecologists, assessment experts, and high school biology teachers. Validation is done by assessing each item on the suitability of the aspects being assessed, and the data was carried out in a descriptive quantitatively by calculating the percentage of instrument validity. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the ecology misconception instrument test with a three-tier test method developed was valid in the aspect of the material is 98,40%, construction is 94,58%, and language is 99,50% and the average result after analyzing for each question item is 98,95%.
