    Transformational leadership is a contemporary leadership approach characterized by inspiring followers to achieve organizational goals. The purpose of the study was to analyze whether leadership factors can moderate work discipline and employee organizational commitment to improve their performance. The research is designed as a field study with the type of research as explanatory research. The research subjects are employees of private and government companies, with a total sample of 140 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) Method. The results showed that work discipline, organizational commitment and leadership can be used as models that have great suitability to predict the effect of the variables studied on employee performance. The results of the study have also proven that the work discipline of employees and a high commitment to the organization have an effect on increasing employee performance. In this study, transformational leadership does not have a role to strengthen work discipline or organizational commitment in improving employee performance

    Produktivitas Remote Working: Adaptasi Karyawan Terhadap Technostress dan Work Life Balance

    Remote working or work from home based on the HR Management function is included in the work flexibility carried out by the company to improve the quality of employee work life. In the current development of the Covid-19 Pandemic, many organizations have adopted policies to enforce remote working on employees. This study aims to determine the conditions of productivity, technostress and work-life balance of employees who do remote working and analyze the effect of technostress on work-life balance and productivity of remote working employees. This type of research is a field study designed as a survey using a questionnaire. The research population is employees who are or have been doing remote working or working from home at least 2 days a week with a total of 213 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equaling Model (PLS-SEM) analysis. The results show that high levels of stress due to the use of technology while working from home can cause the balance of personal life and work-life of employees to decrease. In the end, this condition can reduce their work productivity. The readiness of employees to use technology to do remote work needs attention so that work productivity can be maintaine

    The Optimization of Human Resource’s Performance in Islamic Microfinance Institutions Through Job Analysis and Competency Model

    Abstract. This study aims to develop a standard job analysis and human resource competency model for Islamic Micro Finance Institutions (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil), so it could be a reference for others, providing a standard professional human resources management on MFIs. This research is a field study designed as a survey, through the method of interviewing job holders and the supervisor with direct observation of the activities of field staffs. The data was analysed in the form of a verbal description of qualitative data. The main activity of the staff of MFIs is to encourage the low economic community through the activities of saving and financing. MFIs main characteristic is the principle of being directly in the field thus forming networks through regular meetings and maintaining a reliable service. MFIs personnel competency model consists of a cluster model based on teamwork/collaboration, customer focus, and communication competencies; technical cluster includes technical expertise and managing work competencies; and personal cluster is integrity, achievement orientation, and self-control competencies.Keywords: Baitul Mal Wattamwi, competency model, job description, job specification, micro finance institutio

    Pemberdayaan Pelaku Usaha Mikro dan Kecil dalam Sertifikasi Produk Halal di Kabupaten Pandeglang

    Kabupaten Pandeglang memiliki sekitar 1000 Usaha Mikro dan Kecil (UMK), dimana diantara UMK yang memproduksi makanan dan/atau minuman masih terdapat UMK yang tidak memiliki sertifikat halal. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal, semua produk yang masuk, beredar dan diperdagangkan di Indonesia harus memiliki Sertifikat Halal. Ruang lingkup sertifikasi halal berlaku untuk semua kategori, termasuk untuk usaha berskala mikro dan kecil yang menghasilkan barang atau jasa. Universitas YARSI bermaksud memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan para pelaku UMK di Kabupaten Pandeglang yang masih belum memahami tentang produk halal dan mengalami kesulitan dalam mendaftarkan produknya untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Pembekalan dilaksanakan melalui edukasi dan simulasi tentang produk halal dan tata cara untuk mendapatkan Sertifikat Halal. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini yaitu terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan para peserta terkait pengetahuan tentang produk dan proses sertifikasi halal. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari peningkatan nilai pre-test dan post-test tentang pengetahuan peserta terhadap materi edukasi dan simulasi yang diberikan. Pelaku UMK di Kabupaten Pandeglang telah memahami pentingnya pemahaman tentang produk halal pada produk yang mereka hasilkan dan perjualbelikan. Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta untuk melakukan proses pengajuan Sertifikasi Halal pada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH).Kata kunci: Halal Produk, Sertifikasi Halal, UM

    Perilaku ‘Extra-Role’ Pada Karyawan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah: Pengaruh Faktor Kepribadian dan Servant Leadership Sebagai Moderator

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruhkonsep kepribadian karyawan lembaga keuangan mikro syariah, yang terdiri dari variabelconscientiousness dan agreeableness, self-efficacy, dan motivasi spiritual, terhadap perilaku exta-rolekaryawan; (2) Mengembangkan model perilaku exta-roleberdasarkan peran servant leadershipsebagai moderator darikonsep kepribadian karyawan lembaga keuangan syariah, yang terdiri dari variabelconscientiousness,agreeableness, self-efficacy, dan motivasi spiritual. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan lembaga keuangan mikro syariah di wilayah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Penentuan LKMS yang diteliti ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik judgmental sampling. Sampel penelitian sebesar 217 karyawan dari 13 LKMS dengan tingkat pengembalian kuesioner sebesar 86,45 persen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan self-administrative questionnaire dan data dianalisis menggunakan partial least square-structural equation modeling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian model yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh konsep kepribadian, dengan servant leadership sebagai moderator, terhadap perilaku extra-role(GoF = 0,238, R2 = 0,221). Model juga memiliki relevansi dalam memprediksi (predictive relevance) hubungan antar variabel (Q2 = 0,235)Faktor kepribadian yang meliputi agreeableness, conscientiousness, self-efficacy, dan motivasi spiritual memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku extra rolekaryawan. Diantara keempat konsep kepribadian yang diteliti, maka motivasi spiritual memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap perilaku extra-role.Peran servant leadership sebagai moderator pada pengaruh kepribadian terhadap perilaku extra-role, menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan pada kepribadian agreeableness (p-value < 0,01) dan self-efficacy(p-value < 0,05). Servant leadership dinyatakan tidak signifikan dalam memoderasi pengaruh kepribadian conscientiousnessdan motivasi spiritual terhadap perilaku extra-role
