Pengaruh Sistem Kekerabatan Terhadap Sikap Nasionalisme Masyarakat Batak Toba Di Bandar Lampung

The purpose of this study is to explain and to examine the effect of the kinship system on nationalism in Bandar Lampung. The study method used is qualitativedescriptive method. The population in this study is all Toba Batak society in Bandar Lampung. These results indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between kinship systems (X) on the attitudes of nationalism Batak Toba (Y).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan dan menguji pengaruh sistem kekerabatan terhadap sikap nasionalisme di Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh masyarakat Batak Toba yang ada di Bandar Lampung. . Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan tehknik angket, yang ditunjang dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara sistem kekerabatan (X) terhadap sikap nasionalisme masyarakat Batak Toba (Y)

The use of a learning platform in a reading and writing course

This article deals with an online course offered by the university of Navarra in the German Department in Spain which is based on the reading process of a literary work and the integration of various other sources of information, and by using electronic tools such as the discussion forum, the diary and the Internet. The concept is developed regarding a literary didactic methodology that takes productive, learner centred literary communication as fundamental. Other important objectives are: to enhance the learner's autonomy with activities centred on their productivity before, during and after the reading; to improve their reading and writing skills with different kinds of reading materials; to extend their general cultural knowledge in relation to literature, other media, history, and therefore to use the Internet as a source in order to research topics related to the author, his work, place and time presented in the novel. The use of electronic tools not only ensures the instrumental advantages of independence of time and place, but more importantly, is to be seen in a new literary didactic approach in reference to the context, the intertextuality and contextuality of a text which characterizes hypertextuality and hypermediality. In this sense, the use of a learning platform in its convergence of production, literary communication, contextuality and hypermediality constitute the fundamental aspects of their net -character as an open dynamic system. The use of Internet in this context is to be seen in its pedagogical contribution to more sophisticated projects and as an integral part of teaching literature electronically. All these structural elements constitute in the theory of literature the basis of a more complex aesthetic of the new media in relation to literacy and the inherent potential of creating experiences which are no longer bound only to a book as a medium

‘Literatura’ y ‘aprendizaje’ son dos términos que aparentemente se repelen. Sin embargo, el concepto del ‘aprendizaje literario’ se basa en la concepción de que hay procesos de aprendizaje que surgen específicamente a través del uso de textos literarios y en concreto aquellos destinados a un público joven. El elemento de enlace entre los dos términos es el desarrollo de las competencias y en concreto de la emocional. ¿Cómo se relaciona el weblog con la cultura popular digital? ¿Quiénes son sus usuarios y productores, o los nuevos narradores de la era electrónica? Como respuesta se presenta el género electrónico del weblog con sus aspectos comunicativos y sus características en su función para la blogósfera. Además, se valora este fenómeno en su continuidad y a la vez transformación para la tradición oral popular, su significado social y cultural en el desarrollo tecnológico. Se vincula el weblog con la utilización de la escritura que desde sus comienzos constituye la fascinante posibilidad de compartir con otros vivencias, sentimientos, experiencias y todo lo que forma parte de las relaciones humanas. Para una mayor comprensión del weblog se hace referencia también al termino de la ‘oralidad secundaria’ como confluencia de rasgos de la comunicación oral y aquellos de la literalidad

In its development nowadays, land becomes the most common problem, particularly about the overlapping certificates. In general, the problem about this overlapping certificate occurred in a tract of land which has double certificates and the owner of the land want to or has done legal action on the land. For example, a land certificate is used as collateral in a Bank, but execution cannot be accomplished because there is another person who has the certificate on the land. Therefore, the researcher wanted to find out what factors which caused the incident of overlapping certificates and how about the legal protection for the Bank as the creditor. The result of the research shows that the factor which causes the incident of overlapping certificate is administrative error (internal factor) done by some employees intentionally for their own interest in the Land Office, while the external factor of the Land Office is the bad intention of the person who requests his right for registering the certificate, Therefore, the management of the Land Office as the institution which issues land rights certificates is not responsible for the existence of overlapping certificate although they are always ready to be the mediator in resolving the dispute about overlapping certificate by doing the study on physical and judicial data. The Bank, as the creditor for this problematic collateral, does not get any legal protection because there is no regulation in the legal provisions although the creditor can file the claim to the debtor, since the latter has violated the law, by asking for compensation from the debtor when the judge gives the verdict that the land belongs to the third party

Changes to assessment through the use of portfolios and digital diaries in teachin languages and reading

In this paper, I provide a description of assessment through the use of portfolios. Firstly, I give a brief overview of the principles of formative and reflective, as opposed to summative, evaluation. In line with a metacognitive methodology, the portfolio is presented as a very worthwhile instrument for a self-evaluation process; examples are given from the areas of language learning and reading comprehension. The final part of the paper takes into account possible difficulties in the provision of adequate valuation of learners´ portfolios, and offers some useful evaluation criteria as a response. Some supplementary links to different Web sites are given so as to shed further light on the concept of the portfolio, as well as to provide further information and related material
