    VALIDITAS PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERORIENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN “SMART” PADA MATERI SISTEM PENCERNAAN MANUSIA UNTUK MELATIH KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR SISWA SMP

    This research aims to describe the validity of learning tool that is oriented learning method “SMART” on material of human digestion system to train students’ thinking ability of junior high school 3 Paguyaman. This is a research development model. Products developed are in the form of Lesson Plan and LKPD on the material of human digestion for 8th grade of junior high school using SMART learning model. The results of the study show that learning tool development has valid criteria. The results of lesson plan validation by expert obtained a percentage score ranging from 91.5% to 100% while for LKP obtained a percentage score around 83.25% to 100%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning tool oriented SMART learning model on the material of the human digestive system meets valid criteria because it is based on the results of expert validation and is suitable for use in learning for students of public junior high school 3 Paguyaman.     KONDISI TERUMBU KARANG DI PERAIRAN DESA OLELE

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi terumbu karang di desa olele berdasarkan presentase tutupan terumbu karang (LIFEFOM). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi terumba karang di desa Olele dapat dikategorikan baik yakni berada pada nilai rata-rata 61,25%. Nilai ini termasuk dalam kategori baik dalam peraturan menteri lingkungan hidup No. 4 tahun 2001 yang didukung juga oleh faktor parameter lingkungan yang baik untuk pertumbuhan karang sesuai KEPMEN LH No.51 tahun 2004 sehingga kondisi terumbu karang masuk dalam kategori baik.     The Assessment of Science Process Skills in Biology Subject Lesson Plan Sheets

    The purpose of this study was to find out the science process skills on the lesson plans for biology at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to determine the existence of aspects of science process skills in lesson plans. This research data collection technique uses observation sheets and in-depth interviews. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and testing the validity of the data using the triangulation method. The primary data in this study were biology teachers in class XI, and the secondary data was obtained from notes or documentation in the form of odd semester biology lesson plans for class XI. The results of the study show that in the entire lesson plan which consists of 21 meetings, there are 3 formulations of science process skills in it, namely; observing skills, asking questions, and communicating skills. Other science process skills were obtained based on the results of the interviews conducted, namely classifying skills on the material of cells meeting 2, material of cells meeting 3, material on the structure and function of bones meeting 1, material on the structure and function of tissues in animals meeting 1, material on the structure and function of tissues on plants meeting 1, material on the structure and function of cells in the digestive system meeting 1, material on the structure and function of cells in the digestive system meeting 3, as well as material on the structure and function of the circulatory system meeting 1. Meanwhile, for all the science process skills studied lies in material membrane transport and nutrient assay.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains pada lembar RPP mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui adanya aspek-aspek keterampilan proses sains didalam RPP. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan diuji keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran biologi kelas XI, dan data sekunder diperoleh dari catatan atau dokumentasi berupa RPP biologi kelas XI semester ganjil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh RPP yang terdiri dari 21 kali pertemuan, terdapat 3 rumusan KPS didalamnya, yakni keterampilan mengamati, keterampilan mengajukan pertanyaan, dan keterampilan berkomunikasi. KPS lain diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan, yakni keterampilan mengklasifikasi pada materi sel pertemuan 2, materi sel pertemuan 3, materi struktur dan fungsi tulang pertemuan 1, materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan pada hewan pertemuan 1, materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan pada tumbuhan pertemuan 1, materi struktur, fungsi sel pada sistem pencernaan pertemuan 1, materi struktur, fungsi sel pada sistem pencernaan pertemuan 3, dan materi struktur, fungsi sistem peredaran darah pertemuan 1.     DESKRIPSI AVIFAUNA DI RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU (RTH) KOTA GORONTALO

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis avifauna apa saja yang terdapat dibeberapa RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) Kota Gorontalo dan untuk mendeskripsikan vegetasi yang menjadi habitat Avifauna di RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsi kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode jelajah (survey). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode titik hitung (Point Count) yaitu mencatat jumlah spesies yang teramati dan metode Rapid Assement  untuk mendapatkan gambaran umum tipe vegetasi. Pengamatan dilaksanakan pada tujuh RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) Kota Gorontalo meliputi RTH Kota Tengah, Taman Kota Kota Selatan, Taman Smart Gelanggang, Taman Moodu, Kampus 1 Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Kampus 2 Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dan Kampus 3 Fakultas Olahraga dan Kesehatan (FOK) Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pengamatan dimulai pada Bulan Agustus-September 2020 dan dilakukan pada pagi hari pukul 06:00 10:00 WITA, pada siang hari pukul 11:00-13:00 dan Pada sore hari pukul 16:00-17:30 WITA. Data yang diperoleh diidentifkasi dengan menggunakan buku panduan lapangan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan pada tujuh Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota (RTH) Kota Gorontalo diperoleh jumlah sebanyak 2.299 ekor yang teridiri dari 5 ordo. 23 spesies diantaranya merupakan burung penetap dan 1diantaranya adalah Gelatik Jawa (Pedda oryzivora) yang merupakan spesies diintroduksi dari Pulau Jawa dan Nusa Tenggara. Komposisi vegetasi di lokasi penelitian yang paling banyak ditemukan dan menjadi habitat serta tempat menacri makan avifauna terdapat 13 spesies tumbuhan yang terdiri dari tumbuhan berkayu seperti pohon Cemara (Casuarina equisetifolia), Pinus (Pinus sylvestris), Jati (Tectona grandis), Mangga (Mangifera indica) dan Beringan (Ficus ben)

    Biodiversity of Migrant Birds in the Limboto Lake Region, Gorontalo Province

    The bird population in Indonesia is rich in diversity, this is based on the number of bird populations and environmental conditions that are still maintained so as to allow the birds to live. This study aims to describe the types of migratory birds in Lake Limboto. The method used in this study is the count point method and with 4 observation points for 7 days on different days. The starting point of the observations is carried out alternately for each station so that there are variations in the observation time at each station. Overall, the classification of migratory birds in the Limboto Lake area is classified as moderate with an index carbon index value of 1.79. Migratory birds found in the Lake Limboto area are 9 species of migratory birds belonging to 7 families with a total of 706 individuals. The highest index value H'= 1.63 is at station 1, the diversity index value is moderate and the lowest hidden index H'= 0 is at station 4, the index value is relatively low

    Sistem pakar adalah sistem berbasis komputer yang menggunakan pengetahuan, fakta, dan teknik penalaran dalam memecahkan masalah yang biasanya hanya dapat dipecahkan oleh pakar bidang tertentu. Puskesmas Ome Kota Tidore Kepulauan Selama ini, untuk mendata gizi buruk pada anak-anak melakukannya secara manual. Sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Peniltian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi sistem pakar untuk menentukan status gizi buruk pada anak dengan menggunakan metode dempster-shafer, dimana ada beberapa jenis gizi buruk yang biasa dialami oleh anak, karena itu dalam kasus ini ada 3 jenis gizi buruk yang dibahas, yaitu marasmus (kekurangan energi), khowarsiorkor (kekurangan protein), dan marasmus-khowarsiorkor (kekurangan protein dan energi), yang digunakan untuk mengkombinasikan potongan informasi yang terpisah (bukti) untuk mengkalkulasi kemungkinan dari suatu peristiwa. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan pihak puskesmas dalam mengelola dan melacak gizi buruk pada anak-anak di Puskesmas Ome Kota Tidore Kepulauan

    Avian Diversity in Agricultural Landscapes of SP3 Pangea Area in Gorontalo Province

    An agroecosystem cannot function without birds, which perform a variety of functions, including pollination, seed dispensing, nutrient deposition, scavenging, and predatory roles for rodents and insect agricultural landscapes support a wide range of habitats and a diverse population of avifauna. A new transmigration area called SP3 Pangea has been established in the province of Gorontalo. Therefore, the SP3 Pangea’s agricultural landscapes do not support a great diversity of birds. The current study documented the abundance of avifauna in agricultural landscapes in SP3 Pangea from this perspective. In order to describe the variety and temporal fluctuation of the avifauna in the agricultural landscapes of Dusun SP3 Pangea, field surveys were carried out from December 2021 to February 2022. There were 13 different bird species in total. The IUCN Red List has one species that is classified as vulnerable. In the research area, it was regularly noted that some species had worldwide population patterns that were dropping. This underlines the fact that research locations are essential habitats for bird species with high conservation needs. Future studies on the management and conservation of existing bird species in agricultural settings are expected to use the findings of the current study as a starting point

    PENGARUH PERASAN DAUN SURUHAN (Peperomia pellucida) TERHADAP MORTALITAS Aedes aegypti

    The research aimed to find out the effect of suruhan (Peperomia pellucida) leaves extract to the mortality of Aedes aegypti. The method applied in this research was laboratory experiments.The research was conducted in Zoology Laboratory of Department of Biology, State University of Gorontalo, from August to September 2019. The research employed Completely Randomized Design (CRD) through 4 treatments namely 0%, 15%, 20%, and 25%, as well as 3 replications. In Addition, every treatment involved 10-second instar larvae of Aedes aegypti as test animal. The ANAVA F-Test analysis was to find out the effect of treatment to mortality of Aedes aegypti and LSD (Least Significant Difference) analysis was to find out difference of every treatment. The mortality of Aedes aegypti was not found at concentration 0%, the mortality of Aedes aegypti with average 2,33 animals were found at concentration 15%, the mortality of Aedes aegypti with average 5,00 animals were found at concentration 20%, and the mortality of Aedes aegypti with average 6,67 animals were found at concentration 25%.
