Природоохранные методы формирования техногенных месторождений на объектах цветной металлургии
Physical and chemical ways of decreasing a geoecological load of technogenic deposits have been scientifically proved. Pair creation in QED-strong pulsed laser fields interacting with electron beams
International audienceQED effects are known to occur in a strong laser pulse interaction with a counterpropagating electron beam, among these effects being electron-positron pair creation. We discuss the range of laser pulse intensities of J>5×1022W/cm2 combined with electron beam energies of tens of GeV. In this regime multiple pairs may be generated from a single beam electron, some of the newborn particles being capable of further pair production. Radiation backreaction prevents avalanche development and limits pair creation. The system of integro-differential kinetic equations for electrons, positrons and ? photons is derived and solved numerically. © 2010 The American Physical Society
Construction Method for Infinite Families of Bent Sequences
Bent-sequences is one of the most important classes of Boolean functions, which are widely used in modern cryptographic algorithms, and telecommunication systems that are based on CDMA and OFDM standards. The problem of synthesis of bent-sequences of large lengths is actual and widely discussed. However, in view of the high complexity and unpredictability of the class of bent-sequences, the creation of methods for their synthesis faces significant difficulties. In this paper, a recursive method for constructing infinite families of bent-sequences, based on easily synthesized bent-sequences of small length, has been developed. As the basis of this method, the operations of interleaving of elements and strings, which are widely used in the theory of synthesis of perfect binary arrays, are applied. Effective reproduction rules for bent-sequences in the time domain based on the operation of rearrangement of segments, a rotor, and dimensional changes are proposed. The method developed allows rapid acquisition of a lot of bentsequences of any predefined length. Moreover, the obtained bent-sequences belong to different classes according to Agievich classification, which is important from the cryptographic point of view

Simulating radiative shocks in nozzle shock tubes
We use the recently developed Center for Radiative Shock Hydrodynamics
(CRASH) code to numerically simulate laser-driven radiative shock experiments.
These shocks are launched by an ablated beryllium disk and are driven down
xenon-filled plastic tubes. The simulations are initialized by the
two-dimensional version of the Lagrangian Hyades code which is used to evaluate
the laser energy deposition during the first 1.1ns. The later times are
calculated with the CRASH code. This code solves for the multi-material
hydrodynamics with separate electron and ion temperatures on an Eulerian
block-adaptive-mesh and includes a multi-group flux-limited radiation diffusion
and electron thermal heat conduction. The goal of the present paper is to
demonstrate the capability to simulate radiative shocks of essentially
three-dimensional experimental configurations, such as circular and elliptical
nozzles. We show that the compound shock structure of the primary and wall
shock is captured and verify that the shock properties are consistent with
order-of-magnitude estimates. The produced synthetic radiographs can be used
for comparison with future nozzle experiments at high-energy-density laser

A single electron circulating in a storage ring is a very peculiar object.
Synchrotron radiation quantum fluctuation causes stohastic process in the
synchrotron oscillation of an electron. The radiation from a undulator permits
one to obtain discret moments of longitudional electron motion. Experiments

Структура і властивості матеріалів на основі систем Ag-Pb-Sb-Te з високою термоелектричною добротністю
The review of works devoted to the study of thermoelectric, thermodynamic and mechanical properties of highly efficient thermoelectric materials in the system Ag-Pb (Sn) -Sb-Te. It is shown that based on them can be obtained as n-, and district branches of thermoelectric converters with parameter dimensionless thermoelectric figure of merit ZT ≈ 1.5 - 2.0.Проведено огляд робіт присвячених дослідженню термоелектричних, термодинамічних і механічних властивостей високоефективних термоелектричних матеріалів у системі Ag-Pb(Sn)-Sb-Te. Multi-photon, multi-mode polarization entanglement in parametric down-conversion
We study the quantum properties of the polarization of the light produced in
type II spontaneous parametric down-conversion in the framework of a multi-mode
model valid in any gain regime. We show that the the microscopic polarization
entanglement of photon pairs survives in the high gain regime (multi-photon
regime), in the form of nonclassical correlation of all the Stokes operators
describing polarization degrees of freedom
