An evaluation of subjective experiences, effects and overall satisfaction with clozapine treatment in a UK forensic service
Objectives: Patients prescribed clozapine were surveyed to assess (a) the effects, both positive and adverse, and overall satisfaction with clozapine in comparison to previously prescribed antipsychotics and (b) the relative significance of effects experienced, both positive and adverse, in terms of impact on subjective well-being.
Methods: A total of 56 male patients prescribed clozapine at a forensic psychiatric hospital were surveyed using a 27-item questionnaire. All patients had been prescribed clozapine for a minimum of 3 months. Respondents were asked to rate effects and satisfaction with clozapine treatment in comparison with previously prescribed antipsychotic medication on a five-point scale. Respondents were also asked to rate effects experienced with clozapine treatment in terms of impact on subjective well-being on a five-point scale.
Results: A total of 89% of respondents reported greater satisfaction with clozapine than with previously prescribed antipsychotic medication. A majority of patients reported positive effects in terms of an improvement in their quality of life (68%) and social abilities (52%) with clozapine in comparison with previously prescribed antipsychotics. Nocturnal hypersalivation (84%) and weight gain (57%) were the most common adverse effects. Hedonic responses were assessed for each effect in order to determine the associated subjective experiences. The most positive hedonic responses were for quality of life, mood and alertness. In terms of adverse impact on subjective well-being, nocturnal hypersalivation ranked highest.
Conclusions: Patients in a UK forensic sample are largely satisfied with clozapine treatment. The subjective effects of clozapine treatment should be taken into account by clinicians when assessing response. This may provide an opportunity to highlight the positive changes and prioritize management of the most undesirable adverse effects, which is likely to promote compliance and improve longer term treatment outcomes
Einstein's equations and the chiral model

Killing field symmetries are studied using the Ashtekar variables. The case of
compact spacelike hypersurfaces which are three-tori is considered, and the
determinant of the Killing two-torus metric is chosen as the time gauge. The
Hamiltonian evolution equations in this gauge may be rewritten as those of a
modified SL(2) principal chiral model with a time dependent `coupling
constant', or equivalently, with time dependent SL(2) structure constants. The
evolution equations have a generalized zero-curvature formulation. Using this
form, the explicit time dependence of an infinite number of
spatial-diffeomorphism invariant phase space functionals is extracted, and it
is shown that these are observables in the sense that they Poisson commute with
the reduced Hamiltonian. An infinite set of observables that have SL(2) indices
are also found. This determination of the explicit time dependence of an
infinite set of spatial-diffeomorphism invariant observables amounts to the

Dynamic range of nanotube- and nanowire-based electromechanical systems
Nanomechanical resonators with high aspect ratio, such as nanotubes and nanowires are of interest due to their expected high sensitivity. However, a strongly nonlinear response combined with a high thermomechanical noise level limits the useful linear dynamic range of this type of device. We derive the equations governing this behavior and find a strong dependence [[proportional]dsqrt((d/L)[sup 5])] of the dynamic range on aspect ratio
Contemporary Safety Practices and Zero Fatalities Success Factors in the UK Construction Industry
Globally, adverse safety practices and persistent fatalities have created an impression that “there will always be accidents in the construction industry”. Recent evidence suggests that chronic fatalities are exacerbated by dysfunctional safety practices with less craving for zero fatality. Yet, research that unravels these subtle practices with compelling solutions is scarce. The study aims to identify subtle dysfunctional safety practices and propose solutions to persistent fatalities in the construction sector. Key research questions are: what dysfunctional safety practices influence reoccurring fatalities and what do zero fatalities success factors (ZFSFs) look like in the construction industry? The study adopted mixed research methods with a phenomenological paradigm, reviewing 10 years of HSE archived data and a semi-structured interview among construction professionals to provide deeper insights into the study variables. Quantitative data was analysed using SPSS 29 and PowerBI analytics for visualizing the archive data. Initial findings indicate that human factors such as bad personal habits, mindset linked to complacency, distraction, taking shortcuts, and overconfidence contribute significantly to dysfunctional safety practices. The study reveals significant and disproportionate safety practices among construction workers requiring harmonisation across different sites. Also, dysfunctional safety behaviours and practices are prevalent, particularly in isolated sites managed by small construction firms. It concludes that achieving zero fatalities success factors is unlikely in the construction industry and recommends the active involvement of workers in developing health and safety strategies
Implementation of Port Knocking with Telegram Notifications to Protect Against Scanner Vulnerabilities
The opening of the service port on the Mikrotik router provides an opening for hackers to enter the Mikrotik service to access the router illegally. This research aimed to close certain ports that are gaps for hackers and uses port knocking and telegram bots. The Telegram bot was used as a message notification to managers in real-time to provide information that occurs when the vulnerability scanning process is carried out to find and map weaknesses in the network system. Searching for weaknesses also includes looking for open router service ports such as ports 22, 23, 80, and 8291. This research used the Network Development Life Cycle method, which started from analysis design and prototype simulation to implementation. The research results after testing were able to secure local network service ports against vulnerability scanners on routers using the port knocking method, and testing attack schemes carried out from each scheme could run well on the router’s local network and obtain notifications via telegram bots in real time to administrators. This research contributes to administrators’ ability to secure networks so irresponsible people do not easily infiltrate them
A Class of Nondifferentiable Multiobjective Control Problems
Optimality conditions are derived for a class of nondifferentiable multiobjective control problems having a nondifferentiable term in each component of vector-valued integrand of objective functional. Using Karush-Kuhn-Tucker type optimality conditions, we formulate Mond-Weir type dual to the nondifferentiable control problem and derive duality results extensively under generalized invexity. Finally, it is indicated that our duality results can be considered as dynamic generalizations of those of nondifferentiable nonlinear programming problems recently obtained
