La habilidad procesar datos. Consideraciones metodológicas para su desarrollo en el noveno grado de la secundaria básica

La escuela media cubana está comprometida en la formación de los estudiantes de nivel medio que en las actuales condiciones económicas y sociales exige nuestra sociedad. A partir de la definición de los Objetivos Formativos Generales y por grados para el nivel de Secundaria Básica se fundamenta el papel de la matemática como asignatura priorizada, y por otra parte dentro de las transformaciones en el enfoque metodológico general de la asignatura aparece, la incorporación de habilidades matemáticas que amplían los procedimientos lógicos para el planteamiento y solución de los problemas prácticos, el trabajo que se presenta constituye un primer acercamiento a la caracterización y proyección metodológica de la habilidad procesar datos sobre todo a partir de la estructura de las operaciones fundamentales que la definen así como una propuesta de tareas docentes que insertados en un proceder metodológico que se explicita , constituyen los principales aportes en un orden práctico del trabajo que se presenta

TENDENCIAS CONSTATADAS EN LA PRAXIS DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN PEDAGÓGICA ANTE LA SELECCIÓN DEL OBJETO DE ESTUDIO

La investigación pedagógica ha logrado avances vertiginosos en los últimos diez años. Sin embargo, aún subsisten desacuerdos entre investigadores de este perfil, que intentan imponer sus criterios en aspectos sobre los que las actuales fuentes bibliográficas no han profundizado lo suficiente para lograr la claridad deseada. En tales casos se encuentra las irregularidades que frecuentemente se observan durante la selección del objeto de investigación. Los autores de la presente realizan algunas valoraciones sobre las tendencias actuales que han sido constatadas en la praxis sobre la selección del objeto de investigación. Así constituye un resultado derivado del proyecto institucional “Perfeccionamiento de la formación de recursos humanos y académicos de la UCP Blas Roca Calderío”

Las variables y su control experimental; herramientas para los procesos experimentales en investigaciones ambientales / The variables and their experimental control, tools for experimental research on environmental processes

Este estudio se propone sistematizar aspectos teórico-prácticos sobre la estructuración y realización del diseño experimental  como herramienta estadística en las investigaciones ambientales. El trabajo constituye un acercamiento teórico a la aplicación de técnicas de diseño experimental donde se brindan algunos ejemplos y teorías estadísticas que podrán ayudar a comprender la aplicabilidad de estos métodos para las investigaciones ambientales.This study aims to systematize theoretical and practical aspects of structuring and development of experimental design and statistical tool in environmental research. This work is a theoretical approach to the application of experimental design techniques. Some examples and statistical theories are provided in order to contribute to the understanding of applicability of such methods to environmental researches

LA GESTIÓN DE INFORMACIÓN EN LA FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESIONAL

The present work discusses the importance of the information management as well as the essential elements that contributes to the development of the professional ability of information management. The analysis reveals the need of systematic development in the formative process in the meantime the student foments a culture of work based in the knowledge of a set of tools for navigation, searching, the reviewing, processing and socialization information in digital format that supports the graduated in the processes management and the decisions making of the organization from the perspective of the continuous improvement of his capabilities in the academic, labor and research components of the process.  El trabajo aborda la importancia de la gestión de información y su relación con el desarrollo de la habilidad profesional gestionar información. PROPUESTA TEÓRICO–METODOLÓGICA PARA LA ESTRUCTURACIÓN DE LOS CONCEPTOS FÍSICOS RELACIONADOS CON EL MOVIMIENTO MECÁNICO

Through an investigation carried out, whose results are synthesized in the present article, we deal with the problem related with the insufficiencies in relation to the students’ knowledge of mechanical movement in the Higher Institute of Sciences of Education, -Bachelor of Education, Physics- at Huila, Popular Republic of Angola. We propose a model of systemic character and its structure expresses relations among subsystems of main concepts, revealing the essence of such singular physical object.A través de la investigación, cuyos resultados se sintetizan en el presente artículo, al abordarse la problemática relacionada con las insuficiencias que en relación con el conocimiento del movimiento mecánico presentan los estudiantes de la Carrera Licenciatura en Educación Opción Física del Instituto Superior de Ciencias de la Educación (ISCED) de Huila, en la República de Angola se propone un modelo de carácter sistémico, cuya estructura expresa relaciones entre subsistemas de conceptos fundamentales que expresan la esencia de tan singular objeto físico

Estrategia para la evaluación orientada a la formación de la competencia trabajo virtual en equipo en docentes universitarios

[EN] Teamwork is generally defined as a generic competence, built upon from initial stages up to higher education circles. However, some studies have shown that this has not generally been a systematic or regulated subject in the training of college professors, which has resulted in diverse degrees of development. Likewise, the development of Information and Communication Technologies has brought along a set of transformations in the way teamwork isapproached, namely the emergence of virtual teams. Thus, in keeping with the above stated considerations, the paper here presented, a doctoral thesis, aims at promoting and improving the performance of college professors in a teamwork setting. This entails the integration of Web 2.0 tools through an evaluation strategy aimed at the development of the virtual team work competence. The approach was further validated in practice through expert criteria, along with a pedagogical pre-experiment conducted in the Educational Computing School at the Ignacio Agramonte y Loynaz University, which brought along significant advances and transformations in the professors' mode of action .[ES] El trabajo en equipo es una competencia genérica que se va formando desde niveles precedentes hasta el nivel superior. Sin embargo, estudios realizados revelan que generalmente no ha sido objeto de formación sistémica y regulada en los docentes universitarios, por lo que su grado de desarrollo es muy diverso. A su vez, el desarrollo de las Tecnologias de la Informacion y la Comunicacion (TIC) ha propiciado transformaciones en el trabajo en equipo con el surgimiento de los equipos virtuales . En correspondencia con lo anterior, el trabajo que se presenta, resultado de una tesis doctoral, tiene el objetivo de favorecer el desempeño de los docentes universitarios en el trabajo en equipo. Esto se alcanza con la integración de las herramientas de la Web 2.0 a través de una estrategia de evaluación orientada a la formación de la competencia trabajo virtual en equipo. Predictors of adherence in three low-intensity intervention programs applied by ICTs for depression in primary care

Depression is one of the most common disorders in psychiatric and primary care settings, and is associated with disability, loss in quality of life, and economic costs. Internet-based psychological interventions have been shown to be effective in depression treatment but present problems with a low degree of adherence. The main aim of this study is to analyze the adherence predictors in three low-intensity interventions programs applied by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for depression. A multi-center, randomized, controlled clinical trial was conducted with 164 participants with depression, who were allocated to: Healthy Lifestyle Program, Positive Affect Promotion Program or Mindfulness Program. Sociodemographic characteristics, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Visual Analog Scale, Short Form Health Survey, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule, Five Facets Mindfulness Questionnaire, Pemberton Happiness Index and Treatment Expectancy Questionnaire were used to study adherence. Results showed that positive affect resulted in a predictor variable for Healthy Lifestyle Program and Positive Affect Promotion Program. Perceived health was also a negative adherence predictor for the Positive Affect Promotion Program. Our findings demonstrate that there are differences in clinical variables between treatment completers and non-completers and we provide adherence predictors in two intervention groups. Although new additional predictors have been examined, further research is essential in order to improve tailored interventions and increase adherence treatment

Exploring the Relationship Between the Acceptability of an Internet-Based Intervention for Depression in Primary Care and Clinical Outcomes: Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: Depression is one of the most prevalent psychological disorders worldwide. Although psychotherapy for depression is effective, there are barriers to its implementation in primary care in Spain. The use of the Internet has been shown to be a feasible solution. However, the acceptability of Internet-based interventions has not been studied sufficiently.Objective: To assess the acceptability of an Internet-based intervention (IBI) for depression in primary care, and explore the relationship between expectations and satisfaction and the improvement in the clinical variables in primary care patients receiving this intervention. Furthermore, it offers data about the effects of some sociodemographic characteristics on these acceptability variables and analyzes whether the expectations are related to finalizing the intervention.Methods: Data were based on depressive patients who were participants in a randomized controlled trial. In the present study, we present the data from all the participants in the Internet intervention groups (N = 198). All the participants filled out the expectation and satisfaction scales (six-item scales regarding treatment logic, satisfaction, recommending, usefulness for other disorders, usefulness for the patient, and unpleasantness), the Beck Depression Inventory-II, and the secondary outcome measures: depression and anxiety impairment, and positive and negative affect.Results: Results showed that participants’ expectations and satisfaction with the program were both high and differences in expectations and satisfaction depended on some sociodemographic variables (age: older people have higher expectations; sex: women have greater satisfaction). A positive relationship between these variables and intervention efficacy was found: expectations related to “usefulness for the patient” were a statistically related predictor to the results on the BDI-II (Beta = 0.364), and the perception of how logical the treatment is (Beta = 0.528) was associated with change in the clinical variable. Furthermore, the higher the expectations, the higher the improvements exhibited by the patients in all measures evaluated during the ten intervention modules. High expectations were also directly related to finalizing the intervention.Conclusions: This is the first study in Spain to address this issue in the field of IBIs for depression in primary care. The IBI showed high acceptance related to the intervention’s efficacy and completion. Educational research has made rapid progress over the past ten years. However, there are still disagreements among researchers in this profile, trying to impose their views on issues on which the current literature sources have not gone deep enough to achieve the desired clarity. In such cases the irregularities are frequently observed during selection of the research object. The authors present some considerations on the current trends have been observed in practice on the selection of the research object.
