    The present work compiles numerous papers in the area of computer-aided design, graphics, layout configuration, and user interfaces in general. There is nearly no conference on graphics, multimedia, and user interfaces that does not include a section on constraint-based graphics; on the other hand most conferences on constraint processing favour applications in graphics. This work of bibliographical pointers may serve as a basis for a detailed and comprehensive survey of this important and challenging field in the intersection of constraint processing and graphics. In order to reach this ambitious aim, and also to keep this study up-to-date, the authors appreciate any comment and update information

    The purpose of this research was to study the effect of centrifugation method in soy milk separation. The research was conducted in the Laboratory of Agricultural Workshop, Department of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University Indralaya, from January to July 2012. This research was consisted of six levels of centrifugation duration (30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 s) with three replications. Parameters observed were yield, capacity, and separation rate. The result showed that the separation process was completely finished at 60th second of centrifugation time. The average of separation rate was 110 g/s for the 30th second and 82.2 g/s for the 60th second of centrifugation time, with the yield of 83.3%.Keywords: Separation, Soymilk, Centrifugatio

    Occurrence of carbon nanotubes and implication for the siting of elements in selected anthracites

    Petrographic, geochemical, and electron microbeam investigations of selected anthracites and anthracite-rank coaly shales were conducted. The Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and KwaZu-Natal anthracites show an enrichment in the middle to heavy rare earths (REE) while the Virginia semi-anthracite exhibited a decreasing trend through the light REE, a peak in Gd, and a depletion in the heavy REE. Substitution of As, Hg, and Se in pyrite was most apparent in the Virginia coal. The Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and KwaZu-Natal anthracites contained spherical carbon nanotube (CNT) structures. The CNTs contained several elements, including Hg, Cd, F, Cl, and Br. While CNTs are known to be produced from coals of varying ranks, this seems to be the first report of naturally occurring CNTs

    Interlaboratory comparisons of petrography of liquefaction residues from three Argonne Premium coals

    Three Argonne Premium coal samples, the Beulah-Zap lignite (North Dakota), the high volatile A bituminous Stockton (West Virginia), and the low volatile Pocahontas No. 3 (Virginia), were ground to three initial sizes: -20 mesh, -100 mesh, and "micronized". The samples were each subjected to liquefaction at 673 K for 30 min at a 2:1 tetralin :coal ratio and in an H 2 atmosphere at 13.79 MPa (~ 2000 psi). Polished pellets of the unconverted residues were circulated to three laboratories for a study designed to determine, albeit on a limited scale, the interlaboratory consistency in constituent identification and the problem areas in maceral/neo-maceral/mineral recognition. Within broad categories, the agreement for the Beulah-Zap and Pocahontas No. 3 residues is good. The high volatile A bituminous Stockton coal was the most plastic and most altered, resulting in a residue lending itself to more subjective interpretations. The biggest discrepancy between the laboratories is in the distinction of granular residue and mineral matter and in the transitions between "partially reacted macerals" and "vitroplast" and between "vitroplast" and "granular residue". The initial size of the feed coal appears to influence the recognition of material in the residue

    Volcanic Emissions and Atmospheric Pollution: A Study of Nanoparticles

    The influence of emissions of an active volcano on the composition of nanoparticles and ultrafine road dust was identified in an urban area of the Andes. Although many cities are close to active volcanoes, few studies have evaluated their influence in road dust composition. Air quality in urban areas is significantly affected by non-exhaust emissions (e.g. road dust, brake wear, tire wear), however, natural sources such as volcanoes also impact the chemical composition of the particles. In this study, elements from volcanic emissions such as Si \u3e Al \u3e Fe \u3e Ca \u3e K \u3e Mg, and Si—Al with K were identified as complex hydrates. Similarly, As, Hg, Cd, Pb, As, H, Cd, Pb, V, and salammoniac were observed in nanoparticles and ultrafine material. Mineral composition was detected in the order of quartz\u3e mullite\u3e calcite\u3e kaolinite\u3e illite\u3e goethite\u3e magnetite\u3e zircon\u3e monazite, in addition to salammoniac, a tracer of volcanic sources. The foregoing analysis reflects the importance of carrying out more studies relating the influence of volcanic emissions in road dust in order to protect human health.     Parsing cyclothymic disorder and other specified bipolar spectrum disorders in youth

Objective: Most studies of pediatric bipolar disorder (BP) combine youth who have manic symptoms, but do not meet criteria for BP I/II, into one “not otherwise specified” (NOS) group. Consequently, little is known about how youth with cyclothymic disorder (CycD) differ from youth with BP NOS. The objective of this study was to determine whether youth with a research diagnosis of CycD (RDCyc) differ from youth with operationalized BP NOS. Method: Participants from the Course and Outcome of Bipolar Youth study were evaluated to determine whether they met RDCyc criteria. Characteristics of RDCyc youth and BP NOS youth were compared at baseline, and over eight-years follow-up. Results: Of 154 youth (average age 11.96 (3.3), 42% female), 29 met RDCyc criteria. RDCyc youth were younger (p =.04) at baseline. Over follow-up, RDCyc youth were more likely to have a disruptive behavior disorder (p =.01), and were more likely to experience irritability (p =.03), mood reactivity (p =.02), and rejection sensitivity (p =.03). BP NOS youth were more likely to develop hypomania (p =.02), or depression (p =.02), and tended to have mood episodes earlier in the eight-year follow-up period. Limitations: RDCyc diagnoses were made retrospectively and followed stringent criteria, which may highlight differences that, under typical clinical conditions and more vague criteria, would not be evident. Conclusion: There were few differences between RDCyc and BP NOS youth. However, the ways in which the groups diverged could have implications; chronic subsyndromal mood symptoms may portend a severe, but ultimately non-bipolar, course. Longer follow-up is necessary to determine the trajectory and outcomes of CycD symptoms
