This research aims at identifying and evaluating the factors that affect students' actual research activity. The selected organization for the study is 5 public universities in Hanoi city, Vietnam. The research results have shown that six groups of factors are positively correlated with students' actual research activity, that are: The facilities and financial condition of university; The link between university and business; Program and training organization activities of the university; Teaching methods of lecturer; Student learning motivation; The support of the student family. These groups of factors were measured in 28 observational variables and explained 62.6% the change of dependent variable. Analyse and evaluating the influencing level of these factors to the student actual research activities will help the managers at the universities; the businesses or student parents can notice and have effective measures to enhance the actual research activities for students in various forms, improve the quality of training in order to meet the increasing requirements of the labour market

In the 4.0 context, Digital Marketing becomes suitable for all businesses, from small to medium to large, helping businesses reduce costs, increase the effectiveness of communication tools, and align with today's digital transformation context. The study examines the degree of application of Digital Marketing tools for the Play Nutrition bar. The results show that “Content Marketing” has the highest frequency of appearance, attractiveness, and influence. Along with “Content Marketing”, “Video Marketing” also has the strongest impact. Based on the theoretical study of Digital Marketing, combined with survey results and orientation toward the use of Digital Marketing tools in the future for Play Nutrition bars, the research team proposes some recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of using Digital Marketing tools for Play Nutrition bars

Concepts of Agri-Competitiveness in Theorical and Imperical Researchs

    Get PDF
The purpose of this study is to analyze the competitiveness of exported agricultural products through theoretical and empirical studies, estimation methods and determinants. Not only summarizing the competitiveness theories of agricultural products exported from previous studies, the article also clarifies the concept of competitiveness of agricultural products at the level of products/services, firms/ farms, industry, thereby helping firms from agricultural countries - which rely heavily on agricultural production and agricultural products export to find the right ways to identify definitions and concepts, then choose the right methods of measurement, compare its export agricultural products competitiveness. Since, the study also proposed the use of synthetic indicators to measure the competitiveness of agricultural exports which is an important basis for the state agencies in the study and propose their export policy of agricultural products in the near future

Comparison study on secrecy probability of AF-NOMA and AF-OMA networks

The strictly positive secrecy capacity (SPSC) performance is examined in a new design of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) considered in this study. This system model employs Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relaying scheme to serve far users. In this scheme, a transmitter sends confidential signal to far users. It can be raised falling performance in the presence of an external eavesdropper in such NOMA system. With regard to orthogonal multiple access (OMA), performance of NOMA system model is compared. In particular, tradeoff the SPSC performance and transmit SNR is examined. In this study, the SPSC is evaluated as the secrecy metric to limit impacts of the practical passive eavesdropper in real scenario. It is confirmed that the secrecy performance of NOMA is significant lower than OMA due to related parameters characterization in NOMA, and it should be controlled by varying related coefficients. As main results, both of NOMA and OMA against to impact of eavesdropper is studied in terms of analytically result and numerically result

A Research on the Quality of Public Transportation Services by Bus in Vietnam

    Get PDF
This study was conducted to assess the status of the quality of public passenger transport services by bus in Hanoi. Data were collected from regular passengers using buses as a means of transportation in the city, including passengers standing at stations, waiting shelters and on vehicles to make trips and students of some universities who use buses as a means of transportation. We employ descriptive statistics and hierarchical analysis to learn about the topic of research. The results indicate that the quality of public transport services by buses in Hanoi, which was judged by passengers quite well. In particular, the safety level, convenience, security and hygiene is up to 70%, which was higher than the highest quality level. Quality of fast level and reliability are low. Keywords: quality of services, public passenger transport, buses, Vietnam. DOI: 10.7176/RJFA/10-13-04 Publication date:July 31st 201

“I can't get it out of my mind” - Why, how, and when crisis rumination leads entrepreneurs to act and pivot during crises

    Get PDF
Why do some entrepreneurs pivot their business models in a crisis, while others are more passive? Integrating Conservation of Resources theory with work on crisis rumination, we developed a micro-level model to explain why entrepreneurs who are under strain due to a crisis, as indicated by experiencing crisis rumination, adopt an active approach – i.e., using active coping and engaging in pivoting. Moreover, prevention-focused entrepreneurs who are habitually more sensitive to losses are especially stimulated by crisis rumination to pivot to prevent (further) resource losses. We tested our model in an experiment and an eight-month longitudinal study with entrepreneurs during an inflation crisis

The Status of Educational Sciences In Vietnam: A Bibliometric Analysis From Clarivate Web Of Science Database Between 1991 And 2018

Since 2013, Vietnam has implemented a plan to reform the whole education sector. However, there is little understanding on the status of educational research in Vietnam, which may lay the foundation for such plan. Thus, this research aims to analyze the whole picture of educational research from Vietnam, as seen from the Clarivate Web of Science (WOS) database: 215 publications were recorded, ranging from 1991 to 2018. These 215 publications were further analyzed from five perspectives: 1) number of publications by year; 2) research fields and levels of education; 3) top institutions with the highest number of publications; 4) international collaboration; and 5) quality. Some of the most notable results are: 1) the educational sciences in Vietnam have been still under-developed until recently; 2) among different research topics research among educational sciences, some (e.g., Vocational Education and Training or Early Childhood Education) seemed to be overlooked whereas others (e.g., Higher Education and Teaching and Learning) seemed to receive more attention from educational scholars; 3) all the most major education – specialized universities did not appear among the top five institutions with highest number of publications; 4) Australia, Thailand, the USA, New Zealand and China were the countries with the highest number of co-publications with Vietnamese researchers; and 5) The majority of publications belonged to low-ranked journals. Implications would be withdrawn for Vietnamese policymakers, education leaders, educational researchers and teachers in order to adjust their policies and/or action plans; thus, enhancing the performance and impacts of educational research in the future

CHARACTERIZATION OF CaO-CuO-CeO2 MIXED OXIDE SYNTHESIZED BY THE IMPREGNATION AND INVESTIGATION OF ITS REUSABILITY

    Get PDF
CaO-CuO-CeO2 mixed oxide was prepared by the impregnation method and used as the catalyst for the complete decomposition of phenol in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. The  CaO-CuO-CeO2 mixed oxide were characterized by XRD, SEM, BET, H2-TPR and Raman spectroscopy. The results indicated that there were three CuO species in the mixed oxide: the finely dispersed CuO species on the surface of CeO2, the Ce1-x-yCuxCayO2-d solid solution and the bulk CuO. Most of particles have clear morphology with relatively uniform size in the range of 30 - 50 nm and the BET surface area was 37.96 m2/g. After three times of use, the catalytic activity of CaO-CuO-CeO2 mixed oxide was still relatively high and much higher than the mixed oxide CaO-CeO2 and CuO-CeO2
