    Studi Interaksi Molekul Komponen Minyak Nilam Dengan Reseptor Olfaktori Sebagai Repellent Nyamuk Culex SP Secara in Silico Dan in Vitro

    The components of patchouli oil consist of mayor e.g patchouli alcohol and minor component such as patchoulene, α-guaiene, syechellen, and caryophyllene. These compounds are potentially as repellent or attractant against insects. The purpose of this research is to determine the activity of the Culex sp mosquito repellency using patchouli oil in silico and in vitro. Assessment of in silico modeling is through based on interactions of terpenoid the Culex sp mosquito olfactory receptor structure was downloaded from www.pdb.org with access code 3OGN while the ligand structure downloaded from www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov. The modeling by using Autodock Tools 1.5.4 docking of the ligands were done in consecutive performing of α-guaine, α-patchoulen, vellence, caryophyllene, and syechellen respectively. In comparing with commercial repellent DEET, the patchouli oil component with minus patchouli alcohol have more potent as repellent with Kd = 330 µM, while Kd of DEET is 7,31 µM. Patchouli oil components have potential as a repellent better than DEET, it is indicated from Kd values greater than Kd DEET. By in vitro experiment, patchouli oil showed repellency at EC50 = 6,19 ± 0,55 ppm

    Proses penerimaan siswa pada suatu wilayah memiliki kompleksitas yang berbeda. Informasi dan keterkaitan data pada suatu lembaga pendidikan khususnya sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) dan atas (SMA), memiliki pengaruh yang sangat luas. Keterkaitan penilaian memiliki tolak ukur tersendiri pada tiap lembaga pendidikan. Variabel penilaian yang berbeda pada akhirnya membuat sebuah keputusan penerimaan hanya dilakukan seadanya saja. Untuk itu, perlu dibangun sebuah sistem pengelolaan dan perhitungan dengan variabel yang telah ditetapkan. Sistem perhitungan hasil akhir penerimaan dengan menggunakan sistem terpadu memerlukan sebuah perencanaan dan pengembangan sistem yang baik. Selain dibuat online dengan berbasis web, maka dukungan database yang digunakan harus dapat membantu pengolahan data yang terkirim ataupun akan diproses pada sistem. Pilihan penggunaan Oracle 10g Express Edition pada database yang digunakan memiliki pertimbangan bahwa kemampuan oracle dalam mengelola data dengan jumlah yang sangat besar dan terpadu sudah tidak perlu diragukan lagi, serta tingkat keamanan sistem pada oracle memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik daripada database lainnya

    Kajian Secara in Silico Terhadap Potensi Eugenol Dan Sitronelal Sebagai Pestisida Nabati Untuk Pengendalian Serangga Helopeltis Antonii

    Potensi eugenol dan sitronelal sebagai pestisida nabati dikaji melalui pemodelan secara in silico. Interaksi antara ligan eugenol dan sitronelal sebagai bioaktif dengan mitrokondria Helopeltis antonii sebagai reseptor, dikaji dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Autodock Tools dan Autodock Vina. Hasil kajian in silico menunjukkan bahwa dengan metode multiple docking menggunakan Autodock Tools diperoleh nilai inhibisi (ki) campuran eugenol – sitronelal sebesar 4,20 mM dan nilai energi ikat bebas (∆G) sebesar -3,24 kkal/mol. Sedangkan hasil validasi menggunakan Autodock Vina menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara eugenol – sitronelal memiliki nilai afinitas energi ikat bebas (∆Gaff) sebesar -4,8 kkal/mol dan nilai inhibisi (ki) sebesar 3,300 mM

    Rapid on-Chip Assembly of Niosomes: Batch versus Continuous Flow Reactors

    The large-scale continuous production of niosomes remains challenging. The inherent drawbacks of batch processes such as large particle polydispersity and reduced batch-to-batch reproducibility are here overcome by using commercially available microfluidic reactors. Compared to the traditional batch-based film hydration method, herein, we demonstrate that it is possible to carry out the homogeneous, large-scale (up to 120 mg/min) production of niosomes using two different synthesis techniques (the thin film hydration method and the emulsification technique). Niosomes particle size can be controlled depending on the need by varying the synthesis temperature. The high cytocompatibility of the resulting niosomes was also demonstrated in this work on three different somatic cell lines. For the first time, the structure of the niosome multilamellar shell was also elucidated using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-STEM) as well as their colloidal stability over time (6 weeks) under different storage conditions. The morphology of cryo-protected or as-made niosomes was also evaluated by HR-STEM after freeze-drying. Finally, the dual ability of those synthetic, nonionic, surfactant-based vesicles to carry both hydrophilic and hydrophobic molecules was also here demonstrated by using laser scanning confocal microscopy

This essay is aimed to investigate whether there was a shift/moving towards the supplies and the factor, which trigger the moving, how many supplies that the company should have and the cost that they have to pay to fulfill the supplies. The result shows that there was a moving of supplies, which has been cause by some factors. The kind of research that being used is a descriptive research, with a quantitative data. And the methods that being used is the case study, The point of this research is because of the moving of supplies that has been caused by the age of the supplies, the company have to calculate how many supplies that they should have to fulfill the needs of the next period

    Persona Hotel located on the main route from Bekasi to Jakarta, in area Jatiwaringin 60. Hotel Persona will be built vertically with the number five floors consisting of four floors and a roof floor.Building structure designed use Special Moment Resisting Frame System based on Concrete requirements for structural building Codes (SNI 2847-2013) Analysis of seismic loading was conducted using equivalent static method based on Indonesian Earthquake Resistant Building Codes (SNI 03-1726-2012). In designing this building structure, we used the concept of capacity design. The purpose of this concept was to provide enough ductility by designing plastic hinges on beam. In order to guarantee plastic hinges are formed on the beams, the columns should be designed to be stronger than the beams (Strong Column Weak Beam). The foundation was designed as bored pile, because the soil in that area was hard soil type. The results of the structural analysis show that the Hotel Building structure was able to withstand the designed earthquake loading

    Potential implantable nanofibrous biomaterials combined with stem cells for subchondral bone regeneration

    The treatment of osteochondral defects remains a challenge. Four scaffolds were produced using Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved polymers to investigate their therapeutic potential for the regeneration of the osteochondral unit. Polycaprolactone (PCL) and poly(vinyl-pyrrolidone) (PVP) scaffolds were made by electrohydrodynamic techniques. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) and/or sodium hyaluronate (HA) can be then loaded to PCL nanofibers and/or PVP particles. The purpose of adding hydroxyapatite and sodium hyaluronate into PCL/PVP scaffolds is to increase the regenerative ability for subchondral bone and joint cartilage, respectively. Humanbone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hBM-MSCs) were seeded on these biomaterials. The biocompatibility of these biomaterials in vitro and in vivo, as well as their potential to support MSC differentiation under specific chondrogenic or osteogenic conditions, were evaluated. We show here that hBM-MSCs could proliferate and differentiate both in vitro and in vivo on these biomaterials. In addition, the PCL-HAp could effectively increase the mineralization and induce the differentiation of MSCs into osteoblasts in an osteogenic condition. These results indicate that PCL-HAp biomaterials combined with MSCs could be a beneficial candidate for subchondral bone regeneration
