    Kebahagiaan menurut Ibnu Sina menarik untuk di bahas karena diperoleh melalui banyaknya ilmu pengetahuan dan bisa diamalkan melalui akal mustafad. Banyak para tokoh mencoba menguraikan keberadaannya. Namun dalam kajian tersebut, ada anggapan para filosof Muslim dalam menguraikan masalah hanya menyalin ulang dari para filosof Yunani. Hal ini dijelaskan oleh salah satu tokoh filosof Muslim, yaitu Ibnu Sina. Ia menjelaskan pembahasan dalam filsafat Islam yang berasaskan wahyu berbeda dengan Barat yang berasaskan rasio dan empiris.Kajian ini studi literatur dengan menggunakan metode diskriptif-analisis. Dalam pembahasan ini penulis menghasilkan kesimpulan penting.  Pertama, Konsep kebahagiaan Ibnu Sina berbeda dengan Barat. menurut Ibnu Sina jiwa mendapatkan kenikmatan dan kesengsaran di hari akhir. Ibnu Sina membaginya menjadi beberapa kategori. Pertama, jiwa sempurna karena ilmu dan amal. ilmu akan menjadi pondasi untuk mengukuhkan kehidupan manusia. aksi berpikir dan berkembang dalam mencapai tingkatannya hingga mencapai tingkat akal mustafad yang siap untuk memancarkan hal-hal rasiona

    Problems of the Secular State and Its Impact on Justice

    Every country has a goal to create prosperity for the whole society. Islam has exemplified that religion is closely related to the state. The implication of this relationship between ritual and politics has a very close relationship, it could be inseparable. But over time, the opinion emerged that religion and state should not unite, they argued that this separation could become active with modernization since religion can focus on spiritual affairs and political affairs can specifically regulate society. However, in practice it turns out that separation like a secular state has some significant impact on society. Therefore this article seeks to examine these problems through a literature review that is descriptive-analytical with an interdisciplinary approach, the analysis used is inductive analysis and content analysis. The results of this study show that the conception of a secular state aimed at making a Muslim better, seems to be a mere utopia. The impact of a secular state such as racism and capitalism is very detrimental to the people who are excluded. Ideologically and practically, the conception of a secular state is incompatible with Islamic values, because the Prophet Muhammad did not only teach religious affairs, but also taught political issues, even the Prophet Muhammad gave an example as a politician while in Medina and became a state administrator

    The discussion on the Development of Islamic Human Resource Development (IHRD) is one of the contemporary issues that are interesting to study. In recent years alone, the intensity of research on the discourse on the development of IHRD in academic institutions has increased and shows an increasing presentation. Studies on the existence of IHRD in universities, educational institutions and many human empowerment institutions are carried out massively for the sustainability of the education system in the future. Therefore, in building IHRD with the foundation of the Islamic worldview, it is necessary to practice what is used as a form of employee development with a process that runs continuously. New problems, new procedures, new equipment, new restraints and new positions always arise in a dynamic organization, as for the steps that can be taken to create a higher education IHRD by means of mental, spiritual, educational and teaching worldview Islamic education and providing economic knowledge based on the Quran and Sunnah

    Strategy of Indonesian Pesantren University in Achieving Competence of Student: A Grounded Research at UNIDA Gontor

    The integration of the formal education system of higher education and pesantren the University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor necessitates the attainment of distinctive student competencies. The question that arises is: how is UNIDA Gontor’s strategy in achieving student competence? Therefore, this research aims to conceptualize UNIDA Gontor’s strategy for achieving student competence. This research is field research with qualitative data, specifically using a grounded study approach. Data sources were obtained through interviews, observations, and various other documentation. The findings of this research are: First, the strategy is carried out by UNIDA Gontor by preparing daily, weekly, monthly, semesterly, and annual coaching programs. Second, the programs focus on thinking, spiritual, sport, and art exercises. Third, coaching with the ‘learning-by-doing’ method. Fourth. The coaching program is based on the values and philosophy of pesantren life. This research aims to generate theoretical conclusions regarding Islamic Human Resource Development (I-HRD) will emerge, which have implications for building pesantren management as a typical Indonesian educational institution in general, and especially pesantren universities, which are currently growing in Indonesia.
