Soft Expansion of Double-Real-Virtual Corrections to Higgs Production at N3^3LO

We present methods to compute higher orders in the threshold expansion for the one-loop production of a Higgs boson in association with two partons at hadron colliders. This process contributes to the N$^3$LO Higgs production cross section beyond the soft-virtual approximation. We use reverse unitarity to expand the phase-space integrals in the small kinematic parameters and to reduce the coefficients of the expansion to a small set of master integrals. We describe two methods for the calculation of the master integrals. The first was introduced for the calculation of the soft triple-real radiation relevant to N$^3$LO Higgs production. The second uses a particular factorization of the three body phase-space measure and the knowledge of the scaling properties of the integral itself. Our result is presented as a Laurent expansion in the dimensional regulator, although some of the master integrals are computed to all orders in this parameter.Comment: 30 page

Rezeption von Sport und Geschlecht

Im Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit stehen die RezipientInnen von Mediensport und die Konstruktionsprozesse der Kategorie Geschlecht. Es wird untersucht, wie mehr oder weniger stereotype Darstellungen von SportlerInnen im Mediensport auf RezipientInnen wirken. Der erste theoretische Teil der Arbeit umfasst Theorien der feministischen Medien- und Kommunikationsforschung, der Cultural Studies im Bereich der Mediennutzung sowie der Identitätsbildung. Außerdem wird der Stand der Forschung nachgezeichnet, der im empirischen Teil dazu dient, die Stimuli auszuwählen und später dazu, die Ergebnisse zu reflektieren und einzuordnen. Im empirischen Teil der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die verwendeten Methoden beschrieben, das sind in diesem Falle Gruppendiskussionen und die dokumentarische Analysemethode. Es folgt eine Rekonstruktion des Forschungsprozesses sowie die Präsentation der Ergebnisse, die mit Hilfe der dokumentarischen Analyse gewonnen und einer Typenbildung zugeführt werden. In einer Zusammenfassung werden die Forschungsfragen nochmals gesammelt beantwortet. Schließlich werden die Ergebnisse auch noch mit der Literatur aus dem theoretischen Teil in Zusammenhang gebracht. Den Abschluss bildet eine Kritik der Forschungsarbeit, in der jene Punkte angesprochen werden, die besser gemacht hätten werden können, sowie ein Ausblick

Single-soft emissions for amplitudes with two colored particles at three loops

We compute the three-loop correction to the universal single-soft emission current for the case of scattering amplitudes with two additional color-charged partons. We present results valid for QCD and $\mathcal{N}=4$ super-symmetric Yang-Mills theory. To achieve our results we develop a new integrand expansion technique for scattering amplitudes in the presence of soft emissions. Furthermore, we obtain contributions from single final-state parton matrix elements to the Higgs boson and Drell-Yan production cross section at next-to-next-to-next-to-next-to leading order (N$^4$LO) in perturbative QCD in the threshold limit.Comment: 29 pages, 2 Figure

Successful Booster Antibody Response up to 54 Months after Single Primary Vaccination with Virosome-Formulated, Aluminum-Free Hepatitis A Vaccine

This study demonstrates that a booster dose of the virosome-formulated, aluminum-free hepatitis A vaccine Epaxal (Berna Biotech) is highly immunogenic in subjects who received a single primary dose of this vaccine 18-54 months earlier. There were no significant differences in geometric mean antibody titers (GMTs) among subjects who received the booster dose 18-29 months (GMT, 2330 mIU/mL), 30-41 months (GMT, 2395 mIU/mL), or 42-54 months (GMT, 2432 mIU/mL) after primary vaccination, indicating that delays in the administration of booster vaccination do not lead to a loss of immunogenicit

Higgs boson gluon-fusion production in QCD at Three Loops

We present the cross-section for the production of a Higgs boson at hadron-colliders at next-to- next-to-next-to-leading order (N3LO) in perturbative QCD. The calculation is based on a method to perform a series expansion of the partonic cross-section around the threshold limit to an arbitrary order. We perform this expansion to sufficiently high order to obtain the value of the hadronic cross at N3LO in the large top-mass limit. For renormalisation and factorisation scales equal to half the Higgs mass, the N3LO corrections are of the order of +2.2%. The total scale variation at N3LO is 3%, reducing the uncertainty due to missing higher order QCD corrections by a factor of three.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figure
