Spiral Structure and Galaxy Environment

Among 330 normal spirals of types Sa-Sc the fraction of objects exhibiting ``ring'', ``intermediate'' and ``spiral'' arm varieties does not correlated with environment. A similar conclusion appears to apply to the arm varieties of 123 barred spirals of types SBa-SBc. It is concluded that, among the northern Shapley-Ames galaxies, the distinction between the spiral and ring varieties of spiral arms is, within the accuracy of presently available data, independent of galaxy environment. This result suggests that the detailed morphology of spiral arms depends primarily on parent galaxy characteristics, rather than on the galactic environment.Comment: 8 pages. no figures. Peranan Kepala Sekolah dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Yayasan Mahanaim Kota Bekasi

This research is related to the factors affecting the teacher\u27s performance in Mahanaim School. This research is aimed to: 1) investigating the effect of Principal\u27s Role toward theperformance of Mahanaim school\u27s teachers, 2) investigating the effect of work motivation toward the performance of Mahanaim school\u27s teachers, and 3) investigating the effect ofPrincipal\u27s Role toward the work motivation of Mahanaim School\u27s teachers. The methodused is causality method. The number of population used is 109 teachers from MahanaimSchool (Kindegarten, Elementary, Junior, Senior and Vocational High School). The data collected in this research is primarily by questionnaires. The data is analyzed with pathanalysis model. The research findings shows that simultaneously components of Principal\u27s Role (X1) and work motivation (X2) affect significantly to the performance of Mahanaim School\u27s Teachers (Y) in which R=0,504 and R square= 0,341. The most dominant factor toward the performance of Mahanaim School\u27s Teachers is the component of work motivation

Hubungan antara Bidang Tugas dan Hubungan Sosial dengan Penjenamaan Semula Pengurusan Tingkatan Enam

Penjenamaan semula tingkatan enam merupakan inisiatif Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) dalam Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM) 2013 - 2025 untuk memperkasa pendidikan tingkatan enam. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara bidang tugas harian guru tingkatan enam dan hubungan sosial antara guru-guru dengan penjenamaan semula pengurusan tingkatan enam di Bahagian Sandakan, Sabah. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 120 orang guru tingkatan enam dipilih daripada populasi seramai 169 orang guru tingkatan enam daripada 12 buah sekolah yang mempunyai tingkatan enam di Bahagian Sandakan. Sekolah tersebut terletak di daerah Sandakan, Beluran, Kinabatangan dan Telupid. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan prosedur pensampelan rawak mudah. Sementara itu, borang soal selidik digunakan sebagai instrumen kajian untuk mendapatkan data. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk mengukur kekuatan hubungan antara dua pemboleh ubah yang dikaji. Didapati ujian Korelasi Pearson menunjukkan terdapat korelasi sederhana, positif dan signifikan iaitu r=.492 dan p=.000 antara bidang tugas harian guru tingkatan enam dengan penjenamaan semula pengurusan tingkatan enam. Manakala ujian Korelasi Pearson antara hubungan sosial antara guru di sekolah dengan penjenamaan semula pengurusan tingkatan enam menunjukkan korelasi sangat lemah, negatif dan tidak signifikan iaitu r=-.060 dan p=.517. Hal ini menunjukkan guru tingkatan enam di Bahagian Sandakan dapat melaksanakan perubahan bidang tugas harian guru tingkatan enam. Selain itu, mereka berusaha memelihara hubungan baik dengan pentadbir sekolah aliran perdana dan rakan-rakan guru aliran perdana di sekolah. MOTIVATION MODEL DISTORTION OF RAMAYANA BALLET PERFORMERS

This study reviews the conventional setting of Herzberg Two-Factors Theory and compare with research findings in the Ramayana Ballet show. This research is was done by observation and interview process. This study is a qualitative research that combines historical methods and economics research background. The hygiene factors consist of salary, company policy, good interpersonal relationship and quality of supervision, job security, working condition, and work life balance. The motivation factors consist of personal status, challenging, promotion, responsibility, and growth. This study shows that almost all art groups of Ramayana ballet have high hygiene factor and low motivation. but this findings still led to the high engagement of the artists towards Ramayana ballet show and it was proven by the existence of the art group and the Ramayana ballet show. ΔI=4\Delta I=4 and ΔI=8\Delta I=8 bifurcations in rotational bands of diatomic molecules

It is shown that the recently observed $\Delta I=4$ bifurcation seen in superdeformed nuclear bands is also occurring in rotational bands of diatomic molecules. This thesis documents and explores the actor’s approach to and discovery of the values, methods and motivations of Sir Toby Belch in the Fall 2015 University Theatre production of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.” In addition, the author’s second thesis role was as Andrew Makepeace Ladd III in A. R. Gurney’s, “Love Letters” produced and performed in Kimpel Hall Studio during Spring 2016.
