Evaluación de necesidades formativas, actitudes y creencias del profesorado de Educación Secundaria

Este artículo describe y analiza las actitudes, creencias y evaluación de necesidades de profesores de educación secundaria en formación permanente en el área de Lengua en el contexto de la Reforma Educativa. La investigación se realizó en el Cep de Sevilla (Centro de Profesores). Se ha seguido tanto una metodología cualitativa (entrevistas) como cuantitativa (cuestionario). Los resultados de este estudio sugieren que es necesario conocer las actitudes y creencias de los profesores para establecer programas de formación.This paper describes and analyzes secondary teacher beliefs, attitudes and needs assessment about in-service teacher training in the area of Language in the context of educative reform. Diseño y Desarrollo de un Instrumento para Valorar el Ambiente de Clases de Nn.tt.

Esta investigación trata de elaborar y validar un instrumento de Ambiente de Clases de Nuevas Tecnologías a una muestra de 303 profesores en formación. El análisis de los datos recogidos de las cuestiones cerradas se ha llevado a cabo a partir del análisis estadístico de los mismos, utilizando para ello el paquete estadístico SPSS para Windows (versión 7.5), es decir, ha bastado una codificación numérica y la utilización de estadísticos descriptivos simples y análisis factorial.This investigation tries to elaborate and to validate an instrument of Environment of Classrooms of New Technologies to a sample of 303 teachers in formation. ICT training for students in Early Childhood Education Degree: A study of the predominant learning styles

Esta investigación analiza las preferencias que estudiantes universitarios muestran sobre determinadas situaciones de aprendizaje propuestas a través de prácticas en la asignatura TIC aplicadas a la Educación y su relación con los estilos de aprendizaje predominantes. La metodología de este estudio es de corte fundamentalmente cuantitativo, desarrollando un análisis descriptivo simple; y está apoyado con técnicas cualitativas de análisis de contenido. En el proceso de análisis se han utilizado los programas SPSS y MaxQDA, a fin de facilitar el tratamiento de los datos. Se ha trabajado sobre una muestra de 117 estudiantes universitarios pertenecientes a tres grupos de primer curso del Grado en Educación Infantil de la Universidad de Sevilla que respondieron a los cuestionarios CHAEA y EPTICE. Los resultados de este estudio apuntan diferencias significativas en el modo cómo prefieren aprender los estudiantes con relación a sus estilos de aprendizaje predominantes. Las conclusiones permiten reflexionar sobre la importancia de atender a la diversidad de estilos de aprendizaje en la propuesta curricular que diseñan los profesores.This research examines the preferences that university students show for certain learning situations proposed through practical in subject ICT aplicated in Education and its relationship to the predominant learning styles. The methodology of this study is mainly quantitative, developing a simple descriptive analysis; and is supported by qualitative content analysis techniques. In the process of analysis we used SPSS and MaxQDA programs to facilitate the processing of data. We have worked on a sample of 117 university students from three groups of first academic course of the Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Seville who responded to questionnaires CHAEA and EPTICE. The results of this study indicate significant differences in the way how students prefer to learn in relation to their predominant learning styles. The findings allow us to reflect on the importance of addressing the diversity of learning styles in the design of curriculum proposals

University students’ perception of the use of socrative in learning experiences with mobile technology

La creciente integración de la tecnología móvil en el aula está generando nuevos escenarios para innovar los métodos docentes. En este estudio se analizan las percepciones que maestros en formación muestran específicamente sobre el uso de Socrative y sus implicaciones en procesos de aprendizaje. El diseño de la investigación fue de tipo descriptivo basado en encuestas. En la recogida de datos se administró el cuestionario diseñado ad hoc. Se trabajó sobre una muestra de estudiantes universitarios (n=168) del grado en Educación Infantil de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de una universidad española. Los resultados de este estudio apuntaron cambios significativos en el proceso de aprendizaje de los alumnos, en las relaciones sociales y en la metodología del docente.The growing integration of mobile technology into classrooms is producing new environments that innovate teaching methods. Training needs of the Andalusian teachers on the educational attention to the students with high intellectual capacities

El presente trabajo pretende conocer los conocimientos del profesorado de Educación Infantil, Primaria y Secundaria de diferentes provincias de Andalucía (España) del alumnado con necesidades específicas de apoyo educativo, concretamente, sobre los denominados en la categoría “alumnado con altas capacidades intelectuales”, según se establecen en las Instrucciones de 8 de marzo de 2017 de la Dirección General de Participación y Equidad, por la que se actualiza el Protocolo de Detección, Identificación del Alumnado con Necesidades Específicas de Apoyo Educativo y Organización de la respuesta educativa, de la Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Andalucía. Para ello se elabora un cuestionario autoaplicado de 20 preguntas, con una escala tipo Likert, al que responde un total de 72 docentes. Los resultados recogidos, aunque sean poco representativos, muestran una evidente necesidad formativa en los ámbitos referidos a la identificación, estrategias didácticas y de intervención con este alumnado, además de desconocimiento sobre recursos y materiales específicos para facilitar su inclusión educativa en las aulas y prevenir el fracaso escolar de los mismos. No obstante muestran actitudes empáticas respecto a este alumnado e interés por mejorar su formación específica para atender a este tipo de diversidad en sus aulas.The aim of the present work was to determine the knowledge that teachers of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education of different provinces of Andalusia (Spain) had about students with specific educational support needs, specifically those under the category "students with high intellectual capacities", as established in the Instructions of March 8th, 2017 of the General Directorate of Participation and Equity, which updates the Protocol of Detection, Identification of Students with Specific Needs of Educational Support and Organization of the educational response, of the Ministry of Education of the Regional Government of Andalusia. For this purpose, a self-administered questionnaire of 20 questions, with a Likert type scale, was prepared, with a total of 72 teachers. The results obtained, although they are not very representative, show an evident training need in the areas related to the identification of these students and the didactic and intervention strategies to be implemented with them, as well as ignorance about specific resources and materials to facilitate their educational inclusion in the classroom and to prevent their academic failure. However, they do show empathetic attitudes toward these students and an interest to improve their own specific training to attend to this type of diversity in their classroom
