Pathogens 2018, 7, 46.An outbreak of enteric disease of unknown etiology with 60% morbidity and 8% mortality in weaning piglets occurred in November 2015 on a farm in Buryat Republic, Russia. Metagenomic sequencing revealed the presence of rotavirus B in feces from diseased piglets while no other pathogens were identified. Clinical disease was reproduced in experimentally infected piglets, yielding the 11 RVB gene segments for strain Buryat15, with an RVB genotype constellation of G12-P[4]-I13-R4-C4-M4-A8-N10-T4-E4-H7. This genotype constellation has also been identified in the United States. While the Buryat15 VP7 protein lacked unique amino acid differences in the predicted neutralizing epitopes compared to the previously published swine RVB G12 strains, this report of RVB in Russian swine increases our epidemiological knowledge on the global prevalence and genetic diversity of RVB

Los curadores urbanos son particulares que desempeñan la función administrativa de otorgar las licencias de urbanismo y construcción. La polémica en relación con el ejercicio de sus funciones se encuentra vinculada, por una parte, a la existencia de un marco urbanístico de ordenamiento territorial de los municipios y distritos del país, inadecuado a pesar del mandato contenido en la Ley 388 de 1997 y, por otra, su doble condición de prestador de servicio cuya remuneración está sujeta al vínculo que lo une con los constructores que son sus clientes y la naturaleza pública de la función que desempeña, sujeta al interés general en los términos del artículo 209 constitucional. Abstract Urban guardians are private persons who play the administrative function of assigning urban and construction licenses. The controversy concerning their functions’ performance is linked, first to the existence of a urban frame of territorial ordinance of municipalities and districts in the country, which is inadequate in spite of the order contained in the Law 388 of 1997 and second, its double condition as a service provider whose salary is subject to the links he has with his clients who are the constructors, and the public nature of the function he exercises, subject to general interest in the terms of constitutional Article 209
