Audiovisual content for all : Easy-to-read Language in Audiovisual Translation
Easy-to-read language has traditionally focused on written texts. However, the increasing societal relevance of audiovisual content calls for at least two new developments. On the one hand, there is a need to implement easy-to-read language principles in other formats, such as the audiovisual. On the other hand, there is a need to consider how Easy-to-read language principles can be applied to existing audiovisual access services such as subtitling or audio description. Aware of the two above-mentioned needs, EASIT (Easy Access for Social Inclusion Training, ref. code 2018-1-ES01-KA203-05275), a European project funded under the Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships call, aims to research how easy-to-understand audiovisual content could be created and how future professionals could be trained. More specifically, it aims to map current professional and training practices in Europe and produce recommendations for audiovisual content. It also aims to list the skills that future professionals should have and to design a curriculum to train them. Finally, the project aims to generate training materials which will be integrated in a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The presentation will summarise the main results obtained so far in the project and will present an overview of the MOOC that is being developed. The presentation will highlight the relationship between Easy-to-Read Language and Audiovisual Translation, and the need for further training in this intersecting area
This paper aims to analyse the key success factors of crowdfunding based on rewards in social projects promoted by Social Economy organisations. For this purpose, we used the information from the Goteo database, which has been compiled manually, and consists of a total of 134 projects, involving around 12,321 investment decisions and a total amount raised of more than one million euros. By using the logit model, the following relevant conclusions have been obtained. First, the variables that have shown a positive effect on the chance of success of crowdfunding projects have been those related to the experience of the founders and the location of the project. Second, regarding the type of entity, associations are more successful than cooperatives, non-profit organizations, and foundations. Finally, the variable related to gender and human capital of the project members don’t have an influence on the success of the project.
The Role of Management in Sustainable Tourism: A Bibliometric Analysis Approach
This study presents a bibliometric analysis of sustainable tourism management using the
VOSviewer tool. It aims to fill the bibliometric gap in the growing body of research on sustainable
tourism management and, consequently, contribute to recent scholarly interest in this subject. Therefore,
its main objective is to present a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research published
on sustainable tourism management from 1996 to April 2023, which enables its scientific production.
To this end, we used a total of 317 publications with 7475 cited references from Web of Science. In
addition, we performed three bibliometric analyses (co-authorship, co-citation and co-occurrence of
keywords). The results show the current trends in sustainable tourism management and also provide
a theoretical basis regarding this subject, which is of growing importance in the tourism sector. Our
study’s conclusions suggest that the priorities of sustainable tourism management are shifting from
competitiveness to sustainability, in accordance with new consumer demands and the 2030 Agenda.
In conclusion, a broader framework of sustainable tourism management is require
Geotourism management for sustainable development of tourism: A bibliometric analysis of the main research areas and domains of knowledge
Geotourism has attracted an increasing academic interest in recent years due to the new demands of society for sustainable and alternative destinations and its their effective management is essential. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of geotourism management covering research published from 1991 to June 2023. The objective of this study is to perform a bibliometric analysis to demonstrate the current research and key findings on geotourism management. In addition, we identify the existing limitations in the current literature to show research trends and future directions. To achieve this objective, we analysed 813 publications with 10,937 cited references from Web of Science. Our analysis encompassed three key bibliometric techniques (co-authorship, co-citation and co-occurrence of keywords). The main results show the increasing popularity and investigations in geotourism and destination management. Using mapping techniques, our study shows the relevance of research in geoconservation, sustainable tourism and, to a lesser extent, in geological heritage. The findings contribute to a broad and diverse understanding of the management of geotourism, which can provide insights for DMOs and policymakers in establishing proper management in geotourism to ensure conservation in geodestinations
The Vision of the Main Mobile Apps Related to Caravanning: an Analysis of the Reviews Focusing on Users and Developers
Mobile applications (apps) are becoming an essential tool when it comes to sightseeing. There is even a specific category for trips in the leading app stores. These are no strangers to the rise of the itinerant travel style, the caravans. The study aims to understand the situation of the main caravanning apps in Spain. We have carried out a web scraping methodology using a sample of 1,601 Spanish reviews of the main apps related to caravanning. The most interesting findings, among others, are that we are getting to know a sector that up to now was unknown and that even has not been affected by the pandemic crisis. Besides, the paper has demonstrated that developers do not follow the right strategies in caravanning apps. The paper also shows users' most crucial concerns about these apps. Therefore, managers of caravanning apps could improve their strategies by focusing their attention on users' concerns and, most important, reviews to respondThis publication has been possible thanks to the support of Spain's Ministry of Universities which has granted David Perea with a Margarita Salas grant for the training of young PhD included in the grants for the requalification of the Spanish University System 2021-2023, financed by the European Union Next Generation E

Physical Exercise and Fitness Level Are Related to Cognitive and Psychosocial Functioning in Adolescents
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships among physical exercise and fitness with selective attention, concentration, processing speed, general self-efficacy, self-rated health, and satisfaction with life. 208 adolescents between 14 and 16 years, from the city of Malaga (Spain), participated in the study. A comparative and predictive design was used to carry out this research. The instruments used for the evaluation were the Tanita R
BC-601 Body Composition Monitor, the Eurofit Physical Condition Test Battery, the D2 Test of Attention, the WISC-IV Symbol Search and Coding tests, the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). Analysis of variance (ANOVA), Kruskal–Wallis test, correlation analysis and linear regression were used to contrast the research objectives. The results indicated that adolescents who practiced more hours of physical exercise per week and were in better physical fitness achieved higher scores in selective attention, concentration, processing speed, general self-efficacy, self-rated health, and satisfaction with life. In addition, cardiorespiratory fitness was the physical fitness variable most closely related to and predictive of cognitive and psychosocial functioning. Cardiorespiratory fitness was predictor of all the variables analyzed, except the factor anxiety and insomnia (self-rated health), and life satisfaction that were predicted by horizontal jump measurements and fat mass, respectively. Thus, the study findings indicate that adolescents who practiced more weekly physical exercise and had a higher level of physical fitness scored better on the cognitive functioning and psychosocial tests evaluated. The data suggest that engaging in physical exercise and fitness in adolescence may be appropriate to improve health and well-being, contributing to better development at this stage
