The significance of adopting the Islamic calendar in Islamic housing finance. Case study : Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad Parit Raja Branch
Malaysia is considered to be one of the most advance developed Muslim countries among Muslim countries that employ Islamic Banking system. In this context, Islamic Housing Finance has grown rapidly and becomes popular as a common solution for Muslims who desire to own home base on shariah principles. In Malaysia, banks which have Islamic Banking products employ Gregorian Calendar as the basis for their accounting system even though Surah At-Tawbah: 36-37 in Al-Quran has clearly depicted that there is a straight guidance for Muslims to use the Islamic Calendar for their mundane and spiritual lives. Factually, Gregorian Calendar is 11.5 days longer than the Islamic Calendar, thus using it will affect the calculation of loan repayment for every Muslim borrower. In previous research, discovered that Gregorian Calendar has caused the shortage of zakat payments by the Muslim customers, due to the shorter period of days calculated. This study was conducted to determine a reliable Islamic Calendar according hisab criteria (wujudul hilal) using Accurate Times. To identify the difference calculation between two calendars system and to calculate Islamic Housing Finance repayment in Islamic Calendar and Gregorian Calendar. Quantitative and Qualitative approach were employed in this research. Respondents are all customers at the Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (Parit Raja) who chose Bai Bithamin Ajil (BBA) concept as their housing finance scheme. The calculation shows that total repayment in Islamic Calendar is lower than the Gregorian Calendar. Expert interview were used to identify the effect of employing Islamic Calendar in Islamic Banking system especially for Islamic Housing Finance. Finding indicates that the differences of total repayment between two calendar system reach average 1.04 per cent and most of the banks agree that Islamic Calendar can be employed as the basis of accounting system although many challenges appeared

teaching English well. In this research, the writer focuses on the studentsā preposition mastery taught by using picture and without picture at The Second
Year of SMP Islam Terpadu Ar Royyan Pekanbaru. Many of the students do
not master about preposition. Because, the students lack to understand about
preposition and they are confused in making preposition sentence. The main
problem of this research was formulated as follows: āIs there any significant
difference between studentsā preposition mastery taught by using picture and
without picture at the Second Year of SMP Islam Terpadu Ar Royyan
Pekanbaru. The objectives of the research study are as follows: āTo find out

The subject of this research was the Second year of SMP Islam Terpadu
Ar Royyan Pekanbaru registered 2009-2010academic years. The total
population is 24 students. The Object of the research was the difference
between studentsā preposition mastery taught by using picture and without
picture. This research was an experimental method that focusing on
quantitative approach. The technique of the data collection employed the test
and observation. Observation is used to know the teacher teaching preposition
by using picture and without picture in classroom and Test is used to know the
studentsā prepositional mastery. The technique of data analysis is to analyze

Long-timescale simulations of HO admolecule diffusion on Ice Ih(0001) surfaces
Long-timescale simulations of the diffusion of a HO admolecule on the
(0001) basal plane of ice Ih were carried out over a temperature range of 100
to 200 K using the adaptive kinetic Monte Carlo method and TIP4P/2005f
interaction potential function. The arrangement of dangling H atoms was varied
from the proton-disordered surface to the perfectly ordered Fletcher surface. A
large variety of sites was found leading to a broad distribution in adsorption
energy at both types of surfaces. Up to 4 % of the sites on the
proton-disordered surface have an adsorption energy exceeding the cohesive
energy of ice Ih. The mean squared displacement of a simulated trajectory at
175 K for the proton-disordered surface gave a diffusion constant of
610 cm/s, consistent with an upper bound previously reported
from experimental measurements. During the simulation, dangling H atoms were
found to rearrange so as to reduce clustering, thereby approaching a linear
Fletcher type arrangement. Diffusion on the perfectly ordered Fletcher surface
was estimated to be significantly faster, especially in the direction along the
rows of dangling hydrogen atoms. From simulations over the range in
temperature, an effective activation energy of diffusion was estimated to be
0.16 eV and 0.22 eV for diffusion parallel and perpendicular to the rows,
respectively. Even a slight disruption of the rows of the Fletcher surface made

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT (NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK DAN BERBICARA : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada Siswa Kelas VB SD Negeri Cilumber Kabupaten Bandung Barat Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014
Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Togerther) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara siswa kelas VB SD Negeri Cilumber Kabupaten Bandung Barat tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Secara umum, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together) pada siwa kelas VB SD Negeri Cilumber. Sedangkan secara khusus, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan: 1) Mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together) 2) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together), 3) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diadaptasi dari model kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes, wawancara dan observasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VB SD Negeri Cilumber sebanyak 35 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada akhir siklus, nilai kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa dengan kategori ābaikā meningkat menjadi 68,6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merekomendasikan kepada guru yang baru melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, hendaknya menguasai tahapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT yaitu tahap penomoran, pemberian pertanyaan, berfikir bersama dan pemberian jawaban. Terutama pada tahap penomoran dan pemberian jawaban diperlukan perhatian yang lebih karena kedua tahapan ini merupakan tahapan yang cukup sulit ketika proses kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT (Numbered Head Together).
