    Characterization of Power-to-Phase Conversion in High-Speed P-I-N Photodiodes

    Fluctuations of the optical power incident on a photodiode can be converted into phase fluctuations of the resulting electronic signal due to nonlinear saturation in the semiconductor. This impacts overall timing stability (phase noise) of microwave signals generated from a photodetected optical pulse train. In this paper, we describe and utilize techniques to characterize this conversion of amplitude noise to phase noise for several high-speed (>10 GHz) InGaAs P-I-N photodiodes operated at 900 nm. We focus on the impact of this effect on the photonic generation of low phase noise 10 GHz microwave signals and show that a combination of low laser amplitude noise, appropriate photodiode design, and optimum average photocurrent is required to achieve phase noise at or below -100 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset a 10 GHz carrier. In some photodiodes we find specific photocurrents where the power-to-phase conversion factor is observed to go to zero

    Supplier selection is a chain in supply chain management. Supplier selection is one of the most important things in purchasing activity for the company. Companies should be selective in choosing suppliers because the right supplier selection will support the output of the company. This research was conducted at oil palm agribusiness company which will develop cooperative relationship with NPK fertilizer supplier. The purpose of this study is to select the best NPK fertilizer suppliers that meet the company's criteria. The criteria specified in choosing NPK fertilizer suppliers are cost, quality, delivery and service. While the suppliers who have worked with PT ABC Batam are suppliers X, supplier Y and supplier Z. This research uses AHP method assisted with expert choice v.11 software. From the assessment of the importance of criteria in the selection of suppliers, cost criteria get the highest weight of 0.452, then followed by the quality criteria with weight 0.234, service criteria with weight 0.163 and delivery criteria with weight 0.151. For supplier score starting from supplier X get highest weight 0.528, supplier Y with weight0.325 and supplier Z with weight 0.14

    This study aims to measure the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of their online service (Wakjek) in Batam city. Primary data obtained by spreading the questionnaires to consumers using Random Sampling techniques with the total sample as many as 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Consumer satisfaction against the dimensions of quality is described in the diagram of the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). IPA charts indicate that service dimension items scattered on the four quadrants, namely 15 items on A quadrant which is a top priority, 7 items in quadrant B that should be preserved, the next 7 items in quadrant C which is a low priority, as well as 12 items in quadrant D is an item that is considered less important. Research results exposed that the satisfaction of services provided by taxi online Wakjek has shown the good results it can be seen from the level of conformity that is indicated by the variable Y i.e. satisfaction service. On the attributes of the performance of the average value of the variable Y indicates the number of attributes exists while 4.77 hopes the average value of the variable Y shows numbers 3.62. This means that service satisfaction felt by customers of their online Wakjek have been able to meet the expectations of their customers online Wakjek itself but there are still some items that must be repaire

    Penelitian ini mengenai Analisis Resiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dengan Metode Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya menggunakan Job Safety Analysis (JSA), penilaian risiko, pengendalian risiko, dan pemantauan dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing, data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pengamatan secara langsung, dokumentasi, serta wawancara dengan tujuh orang informan yaitu: HSE Manager, Staff HSE, Safety Officer dan empat orang pekerja Hydrotest Manual. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Langkah dalam melakukan analisis data yaitu mengetahui urutan proses produksi, mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, mengetahui analisis potensi bahaya dengan Job Safety Analysis (JSA), penilaian resiko, pengendalian resiko, pemantauan dan evaluasi, analisis dan pembahasan, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PT. Cladtek pada bagian Hydrotest Manual terdapat potensi bahaya dengan rata-rata bahaya resiko sedang, JSA dapat menurunkan resiko kecelakaan kerja, potensi kecelakaan kerja jarang terjadi, dapat mengendalikan resiko dimasa yang akan datang, pemantauan dan evaluasi baik

Komoditas unggulan yang ada di Kabupaten Muara Enim salah satunya adalah subsektor perkebunan yang menyumbang setengah untuk sektor pertanian. Karena sektor utama pertambangan dan penggalian yang tidak akan bertahan lama untuk kedepannya. Untuk itu diperlukan arahan pengembangan komoditas unggulan subsektor perkebunan di Kabupaten Muara Enim dengan menggunakan konsep agroindustri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan arahan pengembangan komoditas unggulan subsektor perkebunan di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, hal yang dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi komoditas unggulan dengan analisis location quetient (LQ) dan shift share (SS), menentukan faktor-faktor pengembangan komoditas unggulan dengan analisis delphi dan expert judgement, merumuskan arahan pengembangan komoditas unggulan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.     The research aims to determine the influences of promotion mix to the purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa at PT Riau Indotama Abadi. This research used explanatory research method to 79 wholesalaers and repair shops to cooperate with PT Riau Indotama Abadi in Batam. From the results of multiple regression, showed there was partially effect of sales promotion variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.345, there was partially effect of public relation variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.357, there was partially effect of direct marketing variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.364. As for the variable advertising and personal selling  not partially effect on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa. And there is a simultaneous effect of variable advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa
