Error Analysis in the Teaching of English

The main purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of error analysis in the teaching of English as a foreign language. Although errors are bad things in learning English as a foreign language%2C error analysis is advantageous for both learners and teachers. For learners%2C error analysis is needed to show them in what aspect in grammar which is difficult for them%2C where as for teachers%2C it is required to evaluate themselves whether they are successful or not in teaching English.%0D%0AIn this article%2C the writer presented some English sentences containing grammatical errors. These grammatical errors were analyzed based on the theories presented by the linguists. This analysis aimed at showing the students the causes and kinds of the grammatical errors. By this way%2C the students are expected to increase their knowledge on the English grammar. Aceh AS Indonesia Maritime Diplomacy Across the Indian Ocean

Aceh which is located in strategic location on the lanes of international trade between Malacca Strait and the Indian Ocean, therefore, Aceh’s relationship with the communities in the coastal areas of the Indian Ocean has lasted over centuries. Acehnese cooperate with the community of Indian Ocean not only in economic but also cultural field in order to strengthen the archipelago’s history. Analisis Pelaksanaan Demokrasi dalam Pemilihan Gubernur Provinsi Aceh

The peace accord of Helsinki Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Indonesia (GoI) and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) has become an important event for the democracy implementation in Aceh by promulgation of the new Law on Governing of Aceh (LoGA or UUPA). One of the points of the MoU and UUPA was political democratization by implementing direct election (PILKADA) of the Governor, of all over Aceh province in 2006. This event is a part of democracy in Aceh and the pioneer of direct election in Indonesia which made this as the most historic one. Further more, the direct election also has given opportunity for independent candidate pairs, especially the former GAM combatant to run for election freely against political parties affiliated candidates. It was an unpredicted result, in which an independent pair has successfully won. The candidates, who were predicted to be the winner, lost from the Irwandi Yusuf and Muhammad Nazar. The success of this direct election proves that the Aceh electorates are smart for democratic system; they are able to understand the existence of democracy as a good change, either politically, economically or socially to build Aceh.Keywords: Democracy, election for local Governor

Dalam dunia kedokteran terdapat dua penerapan aturan hukum yang mempunyai kekuatan yang sama dalam bentuk Perundang-undangan untuk menyelesaikan sengketa antara pasien dan dokter, jika terjadi wanprestasi antara salah satu pihak. Yaitu uu no. 23 tahun 1992 tentang kesehatan dan uu no. 8 tahun 1999 tentang perlindungan konsumen. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena timbulnya berbagai penafsiran tentang hubungan antara pasien dan dokter itu sendiri apakah termasuk dalam hubungan bersifat untung rugi atau bersifat sosial

Status Hukum dan Produktifitas Tanah-tanah Wakaf di Kota Manado

Dengan disahkannya UU No.41 tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf, telah menggairahkan penerapan Wakaf di tanah air terutama Wakaf yang sifatnya produktif. Karena dengan adanya payung hukum tersebut, diharapkan pelaksanaan Wakaf akan lebih terorganisir dan mempunyai visi yang jelas tentang pemanfaatannya. TINGKAT KESEGARAN JASMANI MAHASISWA PRODI PENJASKESREK STKIP PARIS BARANTAI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesegaran jasmani pada mahasiswa penjaskesrek STKIP Paris Barantai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan tes dan pengukuran Tingkat Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) usia 16-19 tahun. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa penjaskesrek STKIP Paris Barantai yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dituangkan dalam bentuk persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh tingkat kesegaran jasmani pada mahasiswa penjaskesrek STKIP Paris Barantai sebagian besar berkategori baik sekali terdapat 0 putera (0%), 6 putera (21%) dalam kategori baik, 22 putera (79%) dalam kategori sedang, 0 putra (0%) dalam kategori kurang, dan 0 putra (0%) dalam kategori kurang sekali. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesegaran jasmani pada mahasiswa penjaskesrek STKIP Paris Barantai berada pada kategori sedang. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Modul Matematika

The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the potential and conditions of the math instructional materials used in secondary schools in the Tulang Bawang Barat district, (2) develop a mathematical modules that can improve student learning outcomes, (3) test the effectiveness of the developed module which is associated with the increasing of students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Lambu Kibang, SMPN 1 Tumijajar, and SMPN 1 Tulang Bawang Udik, in the Tulang Bawang Barat district.The conclusion of this study is (1) junior high school in Tulang Bawang Barat district has the potential for the development of the module, which is characterized by the absence of the module as teaching materials and the module which was for the whole time the goals of mathematics courses, (2) the product development is in the form of instructional materials mathematics statistics module, (3) module is effectively used as a teaching material because more than 60% of students pass the study.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan potensi dan kondisi bahan ajar matematika yang digunakan di SMP di kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat, (2) mengembangkan modul matematika yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, (3) menguji efektifitas modul yang dikembangkan dikaitkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 1 Lambu Kibang, SMPN 1 Tumijajar, dan SMPN 1 Tulang Bawang Udik, di kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) SMP di kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat berpotensi untuk pengembangan modul, yang ditandai dengan belum adanya modul sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran matematika dan buku yang digunakan selama ini tidak mendukung tercapainya tujuan mata pelajaran matematika, (2) produk pengembangan berupa bahan ajar modul matematika materi statistika, (3) modul efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar karena lebih dari 60% siswa tuntas belajar
