    Kajian Akurasi Interpretasi Hibrida Menggunakan Empat Indeks Vegetasi untuk Pemetaan Kerapatan Kanopi di Kawasan Hutan Kabupaten Gunungkidul

    Tujuan penelitian kali ini adalah: (1) mengoptimalkan kelebihan dan meminimalisasi kekurangan yang ada pada metode interpretasi visual maupun digital melalui interpretasi hibrida, (2) Mengkaji korelasi antara beberapa transformasi indeks vegetasi dengan data kerapatan kanopi vegetasi untuk mendapatkan formula hibrida terbaik, dan (3) Pemetaan kerapatan kanopi di kawasan hutan Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Interpretasi hibrida merupakan kombinasi interpretasi visual untuk delineasi objek dan interpretasi digital citra untuk identifikasi kerapatan kanopi vegetasi. Adapun citra yang digunakan adalah ALOS AVNIR-2 tahun 2009. Objek kajian dalam penelitian kali ini adalah kawasan hutan di sebagian Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Kunci interpretasi hibrida disusun dari citra yang memiliki korelasi tinggi dengan nilai kerapatan kanopi vegetasi. Sedangkan nilai korelasi tertinggi tersebut diperoleh dengan cara menumpangsusunkan setiap blok sampel kerapatan kanopi vegetasi dengan citra hasil transformasi indeks vegetasi (RVI, TVI, NDVI, MSAVI). Hasil dari analisis korelasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa NDVI memiliki koefisien korelasi tertinggi jika dibandingkan dengan indeks vegetasi lainnya, yakni sebesar 0,78

    Spatial Patterns Associating Low Birth Weight with Environmental and Behavioral Factors

    Low birth weight (LBW) is a significant public health problem in the world. It was estimated globally by the World Health Organization (WHO) that prevalence of LBW was 15% of all births. In Murung Raya district LBW cases remain high. This paper aimed to identify and discuss the relationship between environmental risk factors with LBW in Murung Raya.A spatial analysis was conducted with 150 women as the total participantswho were recruited through the incidence data in 2013-2014. The questionnaires, medical records, and geographic data were measured by Stata software, ArcGis, SatScan, and Geoda. The study results indicated there was significant correlation between health behavior and environmental variables with the strength of external neighborhood effect across LBW risk factors. More intense clustering of high values (hot spots) was found through the spatial analysis showing that most of the cases were located near the defined buffer zone. This research demonstrates that the spatial pattern analysis provided greater statistical power to detect an effect that was not apparent in the previous epidemiology studies

    The research was aimed to study quality of semen crossbreed Boer goat. The study was conducted at Batu Kramat Village, Kota Agung Timur Subdistrict, Tanggamus District, Lampung Province during November-December 2008. A Completely Randomized Design with five replications was used with four breeds goat that were Kacang, PE, Boercang, and Boerawa. The result showed that breed of goat were not significantly different (P>0,05) about volume, concentration, and abnormality of semen, but were significantly affected (P<0,01) with motility and live-cells. The best quality of semen was Boerawa goat i.e. volume 1,02 ml; motility 88%; concentration 2.290.000.000 cells.ml-1; live-cell 89,67%; and abnormality 1,98%

    Human Resources (HR) has an important role in a company. PT. Rosy Ceramindo is one of the companies engaged in manufacturing tableware. So we need to optimize the number of employees in accordance with their workload through workload analysis. Mapping employee competencies is made based on the job description of each position then compared to the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI). The method used is the Full Time Equivalent method using Java. The optimal number of employees based on FTE calculations for the Production Department is 94 people. Mapping of competencies based on job description and KKNI for the position of Section Chief is at level 6 equivalent to S1 or D4.     Perbandingan Keefektifan PBL Berseting TGT Dan GI Ditinjau Dari Prestasi Belajar, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Dan Toleransi

    This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of teaching mathematics by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) setting Team Group Tournament (TGT) and PBL with Group Investigation (GI), and as well as compare the effectiveness of PBL setting TGT and PBL setting GI in terms of mathematics learning achievement, creative thinking ability, and tolerance of junior high school students. This research was a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest non-equivalent comparison-group design. The research population includes all students of 8th grade SMPN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta which consists of seven classes. From the population, two classes were randomly selected as the research sample. To test the effectiveness, one sample t-test was used. Furthermore, to compare the effectiveness of teaching, the data were analyzed using a multivariate test of the T2 Hotteling's. The results showed that the teaching process of mathematics using the TGT-set and GI-set PBL is effective in terms of mathematics learning achievement, creative thinking ability, and tolerance of junior high school students and there is no difference between the two

    Pemanfaatan Citra Landsat 8 Multitemporal Untuk Pemetaan Muatan Padatan Tersuspensi Pada Muara Sungai Serayu Jawa Tengah

    Alih fungsi lahan pada kawasan Dieng, Kabupaten Wonosobo berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah muatan padatan tersuspensi (MPT) pada muara sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengkaji kemampuan saluran citra Landsat 8 OLI untuk pemetaan distribusi MPT pada muara Sungai Serayu melalui analisis regresi (2) memetakan variasi dan mengkaji pola distribusi MPT pada muara Sungai Serayu. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengestimasi MPT di muara sungai Serayu adalah analisis regresi liniear antara variabel saluran Landsat 8 OLI dan data MPT aktual. Variabel saluran Landsat 8 OLI yang sesuai untuk memetakan konsentrasi MPT adalah penisbahan antara saluran hijau dan saluran biru atau B3/B2 dengan kesalahan standar yang dihasilkan ± 4,59 mg/l untuk setiap nilai piksel yang diestimasi. Distribusi MPT 2013 sampai 2015 cenderung mengarah ke perairan tenggara muara Sungai Serayu akibat kondisi hidrodinamika seperti pasang surut, arus permukaan dan fenomena upwelling. Pola distribusi MPT cenderung fluktuatif namun terjadi penurunan konsentrasi dari tahun ketahun
