    Implementasi Lean Canvas Pada Entrepreneurial Project Startup Bisnis

    The purpose of this research is to: (1) identify business model with the application of lean canvas; (2) obstacles in the application of lean canvas at the business project of students at entrepreneurial project startup business S2 Ciputra University Surabaya; (3) benefits contained in the application of lean canvas on the business project of students at entrepreneurial project startup business S2 Ciputra University Surabaya. Data collected from January 2018 to March 2018. The method used is descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The author conducted interviews with 5 informants ie business project owner. The analysis tools used are lean start up and lean canvas. Data analysis techniques used are Creswell (2014) data analysis techniques. The results in this study are (1) Student business project can be implemented in nine lean canvas blocks and can see the concept of business model easily and linkage between nine blocks in lean canvas. (2) The most difficult constraint experienced by students is when filling the unfair blocks in the lean canvas. (3) Students can easily analyze their business model in determining future strategy to know the project or business that is run effectively or not to be continued or developed based on the achievement measured in the key metric block in one of the lean canvas blocks and the profit earned in the business project which can be seen easily within the difference between the revenue stream block and the cost structure within the lean canvas

    This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, work environment, andorganizational culture on job satisfaction and employee performance in logisticstransportation companies. This study uses a sampling technique that is saturated sample.The population used in this study were all employees of PT. Surya Lintas Abadi, totaling56 people. This research was conducted from May 2021 to December 2021. This researchmethod is quantitative with data collection using questionnaires. The analytical methodused is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study are work discipline has aneffect on job satisfaction, work environment has an effect on job satisfaction, organizationalculture has an effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has an effect on employeeperformance, work discipline has no effect on employee performance, work environmenthas an effect on employee performance, organizational culture has an effect on employeeperformance. Of the seven existing hypotheses, the biggest influence is the effect of workdiscipline on job satisfaction.PT. Surya Lintas Abadi can increase employee satisfactionby making employees have time discipline. The hypothesis that has no effect is the effect ofwork discipline on employee performance .PT. Surya Lintas Abadi needs to implement akey performance index as a tool to make it easier to assess and evaluate employeeperformance

    Customer Preferences for the Use of Tutoring Services

    This study aimed to determine customer preferences for the use of tutoring services. The attributes studied were teacher (X1), location (X2), facilities (X3) and method (X4). The population were students in Surabaya. The sample of this study was students in NMC in 2019-2020 who had children 7-17 years old and had used another course located in Surabaya. The total number of respondents was 96. Based on the results of conjoint analysis, the main preferences were a teacher with a degree above a bachelor’s degree who can speak English, the location in West Surabaya, a facilities exercise module, and an offline method.     IMPLEMENTATION OF BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY FOR LONG-TERM BUSINESS STRATEGY IN LAND TRANSPORTER COMPANIES IN INDONESIA

    Intense competition in business not only slashes profitability but can also cause a slowdown in the growth of a company. Moreover, the competitive advantage competitive strategy that is often used by many companies is no longer sustainable. The disruptive era makes efforts to maintain competitive advantage short-lived.The purpose of this research is to explore the Blue Ocean Strategy approach to be able to leverage the long-term business strategy for the land transporter company PT Lookman Djaja in order to become an innovative family company and continue to grow across generations. This research was conducted for six months starting from February 2021 to July 2021. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method Creswell (2014) with informants consisting of 3 members of the board of directors, 3 employees from the marketing, accounting and operational divisions, along with 18 customers of PT Lookman Djaja who have a deep understanding of the company. Testing the data in this study was carried out using the data triangulation method. The results of this study are: 1) Strategy Canvas which provides an overview of the current conditions of the competitive arena: advantages and disadvantages of PT Lookman Djaja compared to its competitors, 2) ERRC matrix where PT Lookman Djaja can simultaneously eliminate, reduce, increase and create factors that offered to create value innovation, 3) Three paths from the Six Paths Framework that can be implemented by PT Lookman Djaja to reconstruct industry boundaries. In this research, finally found a new innovation strategy are warehousing service, multimode and information system.     Factor Analysis of Customer Decisions to Buy Neeyoo Fashion Retail Products in Surabaya

    This study analyzed what factors shape consumers’ decisions to purchase Neeyoo fashion store products, so as to prepare corporate strategies to increase the amount of company turnover. This research used the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) method. The 107 participants were consumers of Neeyoo stores. The study used a survey questionnaire with 5% error based on the Exploratory Factor Analysis. 36 initial variables were included and 7 factors were found that shaped consumer purchasing decisions: service and managerial performance, the right product selection, promotion media design and price according to quality, location / business ease, product suitability to consumer needs, in-store presentation, and reference group. Service and managerial performance had the highest variation values at 35.949%. The results showed that improving customer service can increase turnover at Neeyoo stores. Data is collected from October 2018 to December 2018. The method used is descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The researcher conducted interviews with 5 informants. The analysis tools used are lean start up and lean canvas. The data analysis techniques used is Creswell data analysis techniques (2014). The results of this study are (1) project corporate entrepreneurship can be implemented in nine lean canvas blocks and can easily see the concept of optimization model and linkages between nine blocks in lean canvas; (2) the most difficult constraints experienced are when filling key metric blocks and unfair advantages in the lean canvas; (3) the researcher can easily analyze project corporate entrepreneurship in determining future strategies in order to find out which projects are effective or not to be continued or developed based on the achievement measured in the key metric blocks in one of the lean canvas blocks and the integration of nine blocks in lean canvas

    Green Economy is a sustainable economic activity to be able to improve people's welfare without neglecting the impact that causes damage to the environment. This concept prioritizes economic activities with low carbon emissions. Currently, the largest carbon emissions are caused by power plants that still use non-renewable natural resources. One of the efforts made to reduce carbon emissions is to use a solar power plant, known as PV Solarcell. However, with new developments and discoveries for solar power plants, BIPV is perfected. BIPV is a solar power plant where the existing solar panels are attached to buildings or buildings. The aim of this research is to be able to create a new green economy business model for BIPV power plants by using lean canvas tools. This research uses descriptive qualitative method.     Sekolah Citra Berkat yang terletak di kelurahan babat jerawat kecamatan pakal kota surabaya melaksanakan pendidikan dari jenjang TK, SD, SMP dan SMA yang memiliki total siswa 1.142 Siswa. Gedung dan Fasilitas Sekolah adalah salah satu bagian yang sangat berperan didalam mendukung kegiatan proses belajar dan mengajar. Dengan Pengelolaan yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan sekolah terhadap siswa dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat dan pemerintah. Masalah pada saat ini adalah sekolah sangat membutuhkan optimalisasi di bidang operasional khususnya untuk perawatan dan pemeliharaan bangunan sekolah. Sementara ini untuk proses pemeliharaan dan perawatan gedung sekolah masih menggunakan cara yang manual sehingga untuk dapat menghemat biaya dan waktu pelaksanaan serta perencanann jangka panjang masih belum terintegrasi. Metode yang dipakai adalah metode partisipatif dengan melakukan pelatihan pembuatan platform perawatan dan pemeliharaan gedung dan fasilitas sekolah dengan lima tahapan diantaranya melakukan observasi, Pengembangan Program, Implementasi, Validasi dan Finalisasi. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dari bulan september 2021 sampai  maret 2022 selama 6 bulan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi dapat menunjang kualitas pendidikan di masyarakat khususnya sekolah K-12 karena Fasilitas gedung dan bangunan dapat terpelihara dengan baik serta optimal  dan dapat lebih efisien didalam pengelolaan biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk operasional Sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan perencanaan pemeliharaan dan perawatan yang sudah termonitor dengan baik oleh sistem platform yang terintegrasi

    PARENTS’ DECISIONS IN CHOOSING K-12 EDUCATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: AN EXPLORATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS

    The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on K-12 schools. Therefore it is very important to examine the factors that shape parents’ decisions in choosing K-12 education for their children so that schools can meet parents’ expectations. As a result, student enrolment in K-12 schools can be increased. This study aims to determine the factors that shape parents’ decisions in choosing kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school (K-12) education levels for their children in the new normal era. The object of research is the Citra Blessing School in Surabaya. The method used is a quantitative research method. Data collection in this study using questionnaire research. The population is 1,142 parents from K-12. Sampling using a random sampling technique. 797 parents were used as the sample. The analytical method used is exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with the help of the SPSS application. As a result, there is 1 factor that is not appropriate from the 27 initial factors, so 26 factors are used as a factor for parents’ decision-making in choosing K-12 education. These 26 factors form 4 new factors, namely 1. Service and Ambience Excellence; 2. Student Competence; 3. Learning Management System, and 4. School Reputation. This finding becomes a reference for improving the performance of K-12 in Surabaya. In particular, so that the quality of education, the quality of alumni, student admissions, and student enrolment can be improved. It is in order to maintain the continuity of schools, especially K12 schools in the New Normal period. It is a reference for K-12 students to use flip classrooms or blended learning as learning methods during the teaching and learning process. In addition, it motivates K-12 to take part in competitions, thereby increasing the school’s academic achievement

    THE PHENOMENON OF DISCOMFORT TOWARD ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MODERATED BY EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP

    Organizational change is an inevitable demand in the era of globalization. These changes can lead to discomfort, which can reduce organizational commitment in each member of the organization. It can happen because everyone in the organization is forced to leave their comfort zone to face new situations. The study was conducted to determine the phenomenon of discomfort in educational organizations that are making changes to the organization and whether this phenomenon influences the work commitment of organizational members. The empowering leadership variable will then moderate the relationship between the two variables. Empowering leadership is a leadership method in which a leader provides opportunities for subordinates to be independent at work (autonomy) and provides development opportunities. This study uses a questionnaire method in data collection and gets 255 respondents from Ciputra school foundations in Indonesia. This study uses SPSS as software in data processing to obtain research results. Based on the results of this study, discomfort does not have a significant impact on respondents who have a high level of commitment but can increase commitment if given empowering leadership. Discomfort cannot have a negative impact on organizational commitment because the majority of respondents' profile factors have strong organizational values, so they have built a commitment to schools. The research results can certainly be implemented by relevant organizations when they want to make organizational changes. Empowering leadership, which has a positive impact on commitment, is useful for accelerating change and keeping members of their organization
