    ANALISIS PERSPEKTIF GURU TERHADAP INDEKS NILAI PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF

    The aim of this research is to investigate the implementation of inclusive education index from Booth and Ainscow. This paper reports a qualitative case study that explored seven early childhood teachers’ views in Gorontalo about how policy and practice of inclusive in their settings. Data were taken through questionnaires and open-ended question adapted from inclusive education index. The result shows that some teachers feel as outsiders which tend to create the segregation amongst teachers. Meanwhile, others think they need to get support to truly understand what is the value of inclusive and help to provide the needs of each child. These supports can come from other teachers, researchers, or other professions as part of their professional development to implement inclusive education. Then by encouraging feedback and a mentoring program, the opportunity of being flexible, adaptable and resourceful enhance teacher to be reflective on thinking if how to be an inclusive teacher. Therefore, a genuine leader that support inclusive values produce written expectations about how people work together, use resources and provide educational programs for students in the school

    PENINGKATAN KECERDASAN NATURALIS MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN DI LUAR

    This study aims to obtain a picture of the process of naturalist intelligence activities in group B children and find out the extent of the results of the increase in children's naturalist intelligence through learning outside the classroom. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was carried out for 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 7 meetings, where each cycle consisted of the following stages: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Subjects were 10 children in group B, 5 boys and 5 girls. The instrument used was an observation sheet consisting of observing children's activities using the field visit method. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics that compares the results obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle. While the analysis of qualitative data by analyzing data from the results of field notes and interviews during the study with the steps of data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the study showed an increase in naturalist intelligence with a field visit method, it can be proven that the average score of naturalist intelligence pre -the cycle of 40.4%, increased in the first cycle by 18.04% to 58.44% and in the second cycle increased by 23.06% to 81.5%

    A Qualitative Study of Teachers’ Perceptions of Children’s Physical Activity and Learning in Preschool

    AbstractThe aimed of this research is to examine teachers’ perception of physical activity that can indicate the level of physical activities displayed in children’s classroom. Semi-formal interviews were conducted with six early childhood teachers. Results of the study indicated that early childhood teachers used physical activity to promote the learning materials. The teachers stated that through their physical activities, children might develop a better comprehension of academic concepts. The teachers also reported that children’s positive attitudes improved when physical activity was undertaken, particularly evidenced by an increase in children’s confidence and enthusiasm during the learning process. However, inadequate opportunity to include physical activity in preschool due to limited equipment, deterred teachers from truly facilitating the physical activities of children. The teachers were also concerned that their ability and understanding to accommodate physical activity may not be adequate for the children. Therefore, underpinning the teacher’s role with training may be required in order to cover the children’s needs to actively engage in physical activities as mentioned in curriculum

    IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN ANTI KORUPSI PADA PROGRAM STUDI PGMI IAIN KENDARI

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi pada program studi PGMI IAIN Kendari, mengetahui dampak dari implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi tersebut, dan mengetahui model kurikulum pendidikan anti korupsi mana yang lebih memahamkan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah 75 mahasiswa program studi PGMI IAIN Kendari semester IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model kurikulum pendidikan anti korupsi tidak 100% murni menerapkan model mata kuliah sendiri, tetapi mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tidak langsung, seperti pembiasaan dan pemberian nasihat. Implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi tersebut sudah cukup memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa mengenai kajian korupsi. Model kurikulum dengan mata kuliah sendiri masih merupakan model yang paling memberi pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa terhadap materi anti korupsi, namun dengan penambahan program pembelajaran di luar kelas. Abstract This study aimed to analyze the model of anti-corruption education implemented in PGMI (Islamic elementary school teacher) department at IAIN Kendari, to know the impact of the implementation of anti-corruption education model, and to find the most effective curriculum model of anti-corruption education. This research used qualitative descriptive method and the research subject was the 4th semester students of PGMI department at IAIN Kendari. The data collecting used were questionnaire and depth interview. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The findings indicated that anti-corruption education as regular subject in department of PGMI IAN Kendari was not the only method applied,but it integrated into indirect teaching such as getting them wonted and giving them advice. The implementation of anti-corruption education model made the students understand about corruption studies. Anti-corruption education as regular subject was the effective model to help the students understand the corruption, although an additional teaching method should be considered.

    PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN METODE SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA MATERI GLOBALISASI DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi tidak adanya Perangkat Pembelajaran IPS yang berorientasi pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam mengajarakan materi globalisasi, mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPS dengan metode saintifik, dan mengkaji keefektifan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran IPS dengan metode saintifik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, tes angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penilaian ahli. Data tentang sikap kritis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa meliputi uji normalitas, uji kesamaan dua varians, uji n-gain, dan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata. Analisis kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam mengajarkan materi globalisasi berbasis pada transformasi ilmu pengetahuan. Perangkat pembelajaran IPS dengan metode saintifik telah memenuhi kriteria valid. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa lebih dari KKM (65), uji N-gain dengan nilai 0,50, rata-rata sikap kritis siswa 30,9, dan respons positif guru dan siswa lebih dari 75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran IPS dengan metode saintifik valid, efektif dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Sehingga disarankan penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran ini dalam mengajarkan IPS di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci:   Perangkat Pembelajaran IPS, Metode Saintifik, Berpikir Kriti

    EXAMINING THE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN REFORM OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN INDONESIA

    Abstract: The Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Indonesia has experienced major change due to government policy in the last ten years. The aim of this paper is to explore and examine the implications of the policy for the Early Childhood teachers using Foucault’s concepts as important guides for this discussion. There are three major changes that indicate the reform of ECE, (1) the need of improving the early childhood teachers’ qualification; (2) monitoring teacher’s performance; and (3) reflection on teacher’s ethics. These major changes are linked to the concepts of Foucault reveals that normalizing is emphasising to construct and target the teacher’s identities. The second concept is surveillance that is needed to maintain the regulations in every detail school, particularly on teacher’s performance. Lastly, reflection for ethical judgement and concern is essential in order to achieve moral conduct on teaching practice. Throughout this analysis, it shows that it is better if the government can fully identify the difficulty of teachers in order to establish the regulation. More importantly, giving more supports to provide sufficient facilities and programs that can be reached for all teachers is a recommended strategy.     Kesiapan Penerapan Pembelajaran Aktif, Kreatif dan Menyenangkan bagi Anak Usia Dini di Era New Normal

    In order to organize learning during the new normal era, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, various suitable strategies are needed in order to create active, creative, and fun learning. Therefore, this study aims to determine the readiness of Early Childhood educators in conducting face-to-face learning (PTM) in the new academic year 2021/2022. A total of ten teachers and staff were invited to conduct interviews and fill out a questionnaire related to face-to-face learning. The results show that as many as the majority of teachers and staff are ready to welcome face-to-face learning which will start in the new academic year 2021/2022, as many as 9 out of 10 stated their readiness. This readiness is inseparable from the availability of facilities and infrastructure that are adapted according to health protocols and also the readiness of teacher competencies in preparing various media, strategies, activities and games to facilitate learning both synchronously and asynchronously

    The purpose this study was to determine the parent’s perception of the importance of education for early childhood in the bajo  tribal community,  kalupapi village bangkurung district banggai laut regency and the role of the village government in facilitating infrastructure completeness. This research is a qualitative research with qualitative descriptive method and uses interview and documentation data collection techniques as well as triangulation. The subjects this study consisted of five informants, namely parents, teacher and the village government, the results of this study indicate the parents perception of education are very important, this can be seen from the result interview which the show that parents understanding of early childhood education is staring  to change. People know that early childhood education is the best means of increasing children’s growth an development. Lack of adequate infrastructure facilities resulting in less effective learning.     Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Real Object Terhadap Minat Belajar Anak Pada Tema Alam Semesta Di TK Kelompok B

    Kurangnya minat belajar yang meliputi perasaan senang, pemusatan perhatian, keterlibatan aktif dan ketertarikan dalam pembelajaran ditunjukkan oleh anak, khususnya setalah terbiasa belajar dari rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Media Real Object Terhadap Minat Belajar Anak Pada Tema Alam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan menggunakan desain penelitian one-group pre-test dan post-test yaitu memberikan tes sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelompok B TK Negeri Harapan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan minat belajar anak melalui media pembelajaran real object. Pengumpulan data pre-test dan post-test dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan instrument penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara olah data statistika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai rata-rata minat belajar anak sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan, dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai yang diperoleh pada data pre-test dan post-test adalah 20,3 dan 35,3. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung>ttabel atau pvalue 0,05 yaitu thitung = 40,317 >thitung = 2,093 atau 0,00 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran real object terhadap minat belajar anakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat belajar anak pada kelompok B TK Negeri Harapan Kota Barat Kota Gorontalo.     Aktivitas Pembelajaran Guru di dalam Kelas

    Penelitian ini didasarkan pada metode dalam pencapaian hasil pembelajaran yang diinginkan, penetapan, dan pengembangan metode berdasarkan pada kondisi pembelajaran yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas pembelajaran guru  didalam kelas di TK Mawar di  Desa Sumba Kecamatan Bintauna Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow utara Profinsi Sulawesi Utara. metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang yakni guru kelas dan guru pendamping. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas pebelajaran guru didalam kelas terdapat beberapa aspek yakni, menarik perhatian siswa, menimbulkan motivasi, memberikan acuan, memiliki sifat kreatif, memberikan perhatian dan mereview serta mengevaluasi. Ketujuh aspek tersebut belum dilakukan guru secara keseluruhan. Ada  juga faktor yang mempengaruhinya yakni, latar belakang guru itu sendiri yang bukan dari sarjana pendidikan anak usia dini, serta kondisi siswa yang kurang bisa menerima arahan dari guru sehingga mereka tidak mengerti apa yang harus dilakukanny
