    IMPROVING OF COPING, INTENTION, AND MEDICATION ADHERENCE IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE AFTER GIVING SELF MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME QUASY EXPERIMENT IN RSUD JOMBANG

    Introduction: Management coronary artery disease required lifelong treatment. The successful management of CHD requires efective coping, intention and medication adherence of CHD’s patients. This study aimed to explain the changes of coping, intention, and medication adherence in patients with CHD after giving self management programme in RSUD Jombang based on Theory Planned Behavior. Method: It was a quasy experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Sample amount was 28 selected by consecutive sampling. Sample was devided into treatment and control groups. Independent variable was self management programme while dependent variables were coping, intention, medication adherence. Data were collected by using questonnaires measuring coping level, intention and medication adherence. The statistical test used was Mann Whitney, Wilcoxone Signed Rank and t-Test. Result and Analyisis: The result showed that 1) self management programme improve the level of coping in patients with CHD (p < 0,001), 2) self management programme improve the level of intention in patients with CHD (p < 0,001), 3) self management programme improve the level of medication adherence in patients with CHD (p < 0,001). Discuss and Conclution: To change a behavior requires improvement of coping and intentions. This is in accordance with the Theory of Planned Behavior that behavior change is influenced by the attitude toward the behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and intention. It is suggested that 1) it takes a workshop on self-management programs, 2) self-management programs are used as an intervention for the treatment of chronic diseases in the home. However, further research needs to be done to develop a program of self-management of patients with other chronic diseases that involve the role of the family for care at home.     BACKGROUND :  Most people with hypertension assume that consumption drugs can control their blood pressure. In fact, lifestyle factor such as physical activity contribute to the burden of account for substantial morbidity, mortality, and rising in hypertension, highlighly the much for prevention afford to curb public health epidemic. Health coaching was one way for the nurse to improve motivation and patient’s beliefs concerning their disease so that they would show good compliance behavior. Objective of this study was to analyze the effect of health coaching toward physical activity.SUBJECT AND METHODE : This study used quasy experiment design with pre-post test control group design. Sample collection technique was by purposive sampling. The amount of sample was 26 person for each group. There were two variables, the dependent and independent variables, the dependent variable was physical activity and the independent variable was health coaching. The location in the work Pandanwangi Public Health Center  and the time was April 4th – June 7th , 2019. Statistic analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney.RESULTS : Health coaching has effect toward physical activities. Difference test in treatment group using Wilcoxon obtain p value 0,025, while differece test with Mann Whitney obtain p value 0,000.DISCUSSION :  There is physical activity differences between treatment and control group. furthermore, physical activity as a management of hypertension.  It is expected hypertension patients should be always doing physical activity that has been recommended

    Manajemen penyakit jantung koroner (PJK) memerlukan pengobatan seumur hidup. Keberhasilan pengelolaan PJK membutuhkan koping efektif, niat dan kepatuhan berobat dari pasien PJK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan perubahan koping, niat, dan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien dengan PJK setelah memberikan program manajemen diri di RSUD Jombang berdasarkan Teori Perilaku Direncanakan. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah quasy exsperimental pretest-posttest group design dengan jumlah sampel 28 secara konsekutif sampling. Variabel independen yaitu self management program dan variabel dependen yaitu koping, niat, kepatuhan berobat. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner dengan mengukur tingkat koping, niat dan kepatuhan berobat. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah mann whitney, wilcoxone signed rank dan t-test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) program pengelolaan diri meningkatkan tingkat mengatasi pada pasien dengan PJK (p < 0,001), 2) program manajemen diri meningkatkan tingkat niat pada pasien dengan PJK (p < 0,001), 3) program manajemen diri meningkatkan tingkat kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien dengan PJK (p < 0,001). Diskusi: Untuk mengubah sebuah perilaku membutuhkan perbaikan tingkat koping dan niat.     Low back pain was being general issue for many people especially to elderly. Acute low back pain if not get right treatment will be a chronic low back pain that could be decreased the quality of life, annoyed social stimulus, degradation of emotional ability and functional ability. Back exercise is one of the treatment that can strengthen stomach muscle, and back muscle. The aimed of this research is to explain the effect of back exercise in decreasing of pain intensity to elderly low back pain. This research used quasy experimental design with pre post test designed. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample was taken from those suitable with inclusion criteria, and total sample was 14 elderly people. The independent variable was back exercise and the dependent variable was elderly intensity of pain. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon Singned Rank Test and mann whitney U test significance a < 0,05 The result showed that treatment group has significance level p 0.017 and control group has significance level p 0.109 and the result of Mann Whitney U Test showed p 0.002. It can be concluded that back exercise can decrease elderly intensity of low back pain scale, perception, and improve quality of live. Further studies should involved larger respondents and better measurement tools to obtain more accurate results.It can be suggested to the institution to motivate elderly to exercise by themselves

    Background: Malnutrition and over nutrition in school-age children is a serious problem because it will continue into adulthood which is a risk factor for various metabolic and degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, cancer, osteoporosis, etc. In children with malnutrition and over nutrition can also cause a variety of health problems that interfere with the quality of life such as disorders of leg growth, sleep disturbances, stop breathing for a moment and other respiratory disorders. The high number of malnutrition and over nutrition in Indonesia needs to get easy and affordable treatment by quality health services, one of which is through family empowerment called family empowerment. The family is the first and closest person that affects the child's lifestyle. Healthy lifestyles and not determined by parenting from family or family including diet, eating behavior and children's activities. The application of a balanced lifestyle to school children is not an easy thing. This requires support from various parties, namely parents, family, teachers, health workers and other parties. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of modified model family empowerment on the level of family empowerment. Methods: This study was a semi-experiment one group pre and post test design with 172 respondents were taken by purposive sampling technique. Family Empowerment was measured by using Family Empowerment Scale (FES) before and after family empowerment modified model. Family empowerment model was performed at one time and evaluate in 2 month to the family. Analysis of the data was analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. Result The level of family empowerment of the control group before intervention was mostly 73 people (85%) and a good small portion was 13 people (15%) with a mean ± SD of 89.54 ± 5.91. The level of family empowerment in the treatment group in the pre-majority was 73 people (85%) and a small portion less than 3 people (3%) with a mean ± SD of 89.02 ± 5.65. After the intervention became quite large as many as 70 people (81%) and a small portion was enough as many as 16 people (19%) with a mean ± SD of 90.17 ± 5.28. The results showed that the Family Empowerment Modified model can increase the level of family empowerment ((Z= 4,226 dan α=0,000) Conclusion: According to the results of this research and because of knowledge increasing and understanding’s family about diet model.
