    The KK/Gunung Pasang Estate is the second largest estate owned by the Local Plantation Company of Jember Regency. The labour harvest of coffee productivity level is not optimal yet and the percentage of green-coffee seed is highly influential towards the realization achievement of coffee production in the KK/Gunung Pasang Estate. For five years, the average of production realization in the KK/Gunung Pasang Estate is not optimal yet, that is only 75% target. The increasing achievement of production target can be done by optimizing the labour harvest of coffee productivity. This research is aimed to analyze how far motivation, and ability correlate towards the labour harvest of coffee productivity by using Spearman Rank Correlation. The tools of research used correlational description. The sample method used propositional random sampling with 73 respondents. The result shown that motivation has positive correlation with the labour harvest of coffee productivity (Y). The variables of motivation include work performance (X1), and life-expectancy insurance (X3) has positive and significant correlation with the work productivity of coffee reapers. The variable responsibility (X2), and family members (X4) does not have a significant correlation with the labour harvest of coffee productivity. Moreover, the test of age variable (X5) has positive correlation with the the labour harvest of coffee productivity. Meanwhile, the experience variable (X6) does not have significant correlation. With this system, students can enjoy the services of two services , namely online and offline. implementation of student satisfaction on a given service activity to satisfaction with the service system creates realistic, so of service iDuHelp ! provide a system that is shaped survey ilearning survey . The system can be filled by students in the form of a link, contains questions on pelyanan iDuHelp !. Thus the survey iLearning system contribute maximize quality improvement and provide good service and to improve the overall performance of the operator in providing services to customers. Many related methods of this study, such as by using the method ilearning. So that a clear research using mind mapping. In this study explained about the problems encountered and solutions are included in the form of a flowchart. the implementation of the system are protptype iDuHelp ! and iLearning Survey .Results in the form of a graph of Isur customer response to operator services and systems, so it is useful to improve the overall service quality iDuHelp! system

    Differences Between Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) and Prothrombine Induced by Vitamin K Absence or Antagonist II (PIVKA-II) Values as Early Detection Method for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) and Cirrhosis

    Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma is a common cancer worldwide and has a high mortality. Biomarkers could theoretically help to detect the disease at an earlier stage before symptoms occur and improve the treatment outcomes. The first biomarker found was AFP (not very accurate and 30-40% of HCC may be missed). PIVKA-II can be used as an early detection method to diagnose HCC.Method: A cross sectional study on in-patients or out-patients at Saiful Anwar Malang Hospital from July 2016 to October 2016.Results: The p value (p > 0.05) obtained using Kolmogorov-Smirnov was 0.166 for diagnosis of HCC and 0.147 for the diagnosis of hepatic cirrhosis. The p value (p > 0.05) obtained using Shapiro-Wilk was 0.103 for diagnosis of HCC and 0.087 for the diagnosis of cirrhosis. Comparative test using the LSD method showed PIVKA-II serum levels in HCC as compared to hepatic cirrhosis as significant with a p-value less than 0.05 (p < 0.05), that is 0.025. However comparative test using the Tukey HSD method showed that the results obtained were not significant. According to the PIVKA-II cut off value, the sensitivity and specificity to detect cirrhosis and HCC was as large as 100%. According to the AFP cut off value, the sensitivity to detect cirrhosis and HCC was 93.3% and the specificity was 76.92%.Conclusion: Both PIVKA-II and AFP can be used to detect cirrhosis and HCC. However PIVKA-II exhibited better sensitivity and specificity in the detection of cirrhosis and HCC

    Carbon Multicharged Ion Generation From Laser-Spark Ion Source

    Multicharged carbon ions are generated by using a laser-assisted spark-discharge ion source. A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser pulse (1064 nm, 7 ns, ≤ 4.5 × 109 W/cm2) focused onto the surface of a glassy carbon target results in its ablation. The spark-discharge (∼1.2 J energy, ∼1 µs duration) is initiated along the direction of the plume propagation between the target surface and a grounded mesh that is parallel to the target surface. Ions emitted from the laser-spark plasma are detected by their time-of-flight using a Faraday cup. The ion energy-to-charge ratio is analyzed by a three-mesh retarding field analyzer. In one set of experiments, the laser plasma is generated by target ablation using a 50 mJ laser pulse. In another set of experiments, ∼1.2 J spark-discharge energy is coupled to the expanding plasma to increase the plasma density and temperature that results in the generation of carbon multicharged ions up to C6+. A delay-generator is used to control the time delay between the laser pulse and the thyratron trigger. Ion generation from a laser pulse when a high DC voltage is applied to the target is compared to that when a spark-discharge with an equivalent pulsed voltage is applied to the target. The laser-coupled spark-discharge (7 kV peak voltage, 810 A peak current) increases the maximum detected ion charge state from C4+ to C6+, accompanied by an increase in the ion yield by a factor of ∼6 compared to applying 7.0 kV DC voltage to the target

    Nanoscale protein architecture of the kidney glomerular basement membrane

    In multicellular organisms, proteins of the extracellular matrix (ECM) play structural and functional roles in essentially all organs, so understanding ECM protein organization in health and disease remains an important goal. Here, we used sub-diffraction resolution stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy (STORM) to resolve the in situ molecular organization of proteins within the kidney glomerular basement membrane (GBM), an essential mediator of glomerular ultrafiltration. Using multichannel STORM and STORM-electron microscopy correlation, we constructed a molecular reference frame that revealed a laminar organization of ECM proteins within the GBM. Separate analyses of domains near the N- and C-termini of agrin, laminin, and collagen IV in mouse and human GBM revealed a highly oriented macromolecular organization. Our analysis also revealed disruptions in this GBM architecture in a mouse model of Alport syndrome. These results provide the first nanoscopic glimpse into the organization of a complex ECM.     Variations in the slope of the resolved star-forming main sequence: a tool for constraining the mass of star-forming regions

    The correlation between galaxies’ integrated stellar masses and star formation rates (the ‘star formation main sequence’, SFMS) is a well-established scaling relation. Recently, surveys have found a relationship between the star formation rate (SFR) and stellar mass surface densities on kpc and sub-kpc scales (the ‘resolved SFMS’, rSFMS). In this work, we demonstrate that the rSFMS emerges naturally in Feedback In Realistic Environments 2 (FIRE-2) zoom-in simulations of Milky Way-mass galaxies. We make SFR and stellar mass maps of the simulated galaxies at a variety of spatial resolutions and star formation averaging time-scales and fit the rSFMS using multiple methods from the literature. While the absolute value of the SFMS slope (α_(MS)) depends on the fitting method, the slope is steeper for longer star formation time-scales and lower spatial resolutions regardless of the fitting method employed. We present a toy model that quantitatively captures the dependence of the simulated galaxies’ α_(MS) on spatial resolution and use it to illustrate how this dependence can be used to constrain the characteristic mass of star-forming clumps

    Development and evaluation of a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system for sinapic acid with improved antiviral efficacy against SARS-CoV-2

    This study aimed to develop a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNE) for sinapic acid (SA) to improve its solubility and antiviral activity. Optimal components for the SA-SNE formulation were selected, including Labrafil as the oil, Cremophor EL as the surfactant, and Transcutol as the co-surfactant. The formulation was optimized using surface response design, and the optimized SA-SNE formulation exhibited a small globule size of 83.6 nm, high solubility up to 127.1 ± 3.3, and a 100% transmittance. In vitro release studies demonstrated rapid and high SA release from the formulation. Pharmacokinetic analysis showed improved bioavailability by 2.43 times, and the optimized SA-SNE formulation exhibited potent antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2. The developed SA-SNE formulation can enhance SA’s therapeutic efficacy by improving its solubility, bioavailability, and antiviral activity. Further in silico, modeling, and Gaussian accelerated molecular dynamics (GaMD)-based studies revealed that SA could interact with and inhibit the viral main protease (Mpro). This research contributes to developing effective drug delivery systems for poorly soluble drugs like SA, opening new possibilities for their application via nebulization in SARS-CoV-2 therapy

    Micro Vascular and Macro Vascular Disease in Systemic Hypertension: The Role of Cardiac Imaging and Nitric Oxide Synthase Gene Polymorphism

    Systemic Hypertension (HTN) accounts for the largest amount of attributable Cardiovascular (CV) mortality worldwide. There are several factors responsible for the development of HTN and its CV complications. Multicenter trials revealed that risk factors responsible for Micro Vascular Disease (MVD) are similar for those attributable to Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) which include tobacco use, unhealthy cholesterol levels, HTN, obesity and overweight, physical inactivity, unhealthy diet, diabetes, insulin resistance, increasing age and genetic predisposition. In addition, the defective release of Nitric Oxide (NO) could be a putative candidate for HTN and MVD. This study reviewed the risk stratification of hypertensive population employing cardiac imaging modalities which are of crucial importance in diagnosis. It further emphasized the proper used of cardiac imaging to determine patients at increased CV risk and identify the management strategy. It is now known that NO has an important eff ect on blood pressure, and the basal release of endothelial Nitric Oxide (eNOS) in HTN may be reduced. Although there are diff erent forms of eNOS gene allele, there is no solid data revealing the potential role of the polymorphism of the eNOS in patients with HTN and coronary vascular diseases. In the present article, the prevalence of eNOS G298 allele in hypertensive patients with micro vascular angina will be demonstrated. This review provides an update on appropriate and justified use of non-invasive imaging tests in hypertensive patients and its important role in proper diagnosis of MVD and CAD. Second, eNOS gene allele and its relation to essential hypertension and angina pectoris are also highlighted
