06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü Tezlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır.Bu araştırma, ilköğretim 3. sınıf öğrencilerinde, Hayat Bilgisi dersi öğretiminde oyunla öğretim yönteminin öğrencinin başarı ve tutumuna etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırma, gerçek deneysel modellerden öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu seçkisiz modele uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma, Sakarya ili Hendek ilçesinde bulunan bir ilköğretim okulunda öğrenin gören 2 ayrı sınıftaki, 3. sınıf öğrencileriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda 31'i deney, 31'i kontrol olmak üzere toplam 62 öğrenci yer almıştır. This research is done with the aim of determining the effect of game method into the student?s success and attidues in social studies lesson elementary third grade.Research is carried properly to pre-test control group design that is from the true experimental designs. Research is made with the elementary third grade students in two different classrooms who take education at a primary school in Hendek, Sakarya. In research?s working group sixty two students take place and of these students thirty one is experiment and the other thirty one is control. From this two classroom 3/A is chosen control group and 3/B is chosen experiment group randomly. To chosen groups some gains took place in the theme ?Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow? is tried to gain in experiment group with the game method and in control group defined in the programme. In the result of research in gaining the selected gains in aspect of success the experiment group is highly successful from the control group and but from the point of attitude there is no significant difference.Key Words: Teaching of Social Studies, The Game Metho

International audienceThis paper presents the IEEY project in the African sector. The amount of our interpreted data is presently too short to allow proper scientific conclusions. Nevertheless, fist typical results illustrate our network possibilities. Some preliminary observations are briefly pre- , sented for their interest towards immediate research goals

Performance prediction methods of HF radio systems

A survey of the historical development of methods for predicting the performance of ionospheric HF radio systems is presented, with special emphasis on modelling. The models considered are ionospheric characteristics and electron-density profile models, a propagation model, transmission loss and gain factors models, characteristics of radio noise models and a reliability model

COST Action 251 (Improved Quality of Service in Ionospheric Telecommunication Systems Planning and Operation) has been a dynamic group of 122 participants from 46 organisations in 20 Nations working as a technical community towards a common goal. The main objectives were to collect additional quantities and types of ionospheric data, to generate procedures for prediction of ionospheric models over Europe and to promote their use, to extend the existing models to give system performance statistics and to develop a methodology for channel simu1ation. The major achievements include especially the production of databases of ionospheric measurements, the development of procedures for ionospheric and p1asmaspheric modelling, mapping and forecasting ,and models for users for overall performance prediction of systems in Europe. The results obtained in the frame of COST Action 251 during the period 1995-1999 are summarised with particular reference to their application for terrestrial and Earth-space ionospheric telecommunication systems planning and operation. Recommendations for future activities are presente

Spectral energy contributions of quasi-periodic oscillations (2-35 days) to the variability of the foF2

The relative contributions of quasi-periodic oscillations from 2 to 35 days to the variability of foF2 at middle northern latitudes between 42°N and 60°N are investigated. The foF2 hourly data for the whole solar cycle 21 (1976–1986) for four European ionospheric stations Rome (41.9°N, 12.5°E), Poitiers (46.5°N, 0.3°E), Kaliningrad (54.7°N, 20.6°E) and Uppsala (59.8°N, 17.6°E) are used for analysis. The relative contributions of different periodic bands due to planetary wave activity and solar flux variations are evaluated by integrated percent contributions of spectral energy for these bands. The observations suggest that a clearly expressed seasonal variation of percent contributions exists with maximum at summer solstice and minimum at winter solstice for all periodic bands. The contributions for summer increase when the latitude increases. The contributions are modulated by the solar cycle and simultaneously influenced by the long-term geomagnetic activity variations. The greater percentage of spectral energy between 2 to 35 days is contributed by the periodic bands related to the middle atmosphere planetary wave activity.Key words.
