    Cryptanalysis of an Image Encryption Scheme Based on a Compound Chaotic Sequence

    Recently, an image encryption scheme based on a compound chaotic sequence was proposed. In this paper, the security of the scheme is studied and the following problems are found: (1) a differential chosen-plaintext attack can break the scheme with only three chosen plain-images; (2) there is a number of weak keys and some equivalent keys for encryption; (3) the scheme is not sensitive to the changes of plain-images; and (4) the compound chaotic sequence does not work as a good random number resource.Comment: 11 pages, 2 figure

    A similarity measure on tree structured business data

    In many business situations, products or user profile data are so complex that they need to be described by use of tree structures. Evaluating the similarity between tree-structured data is essential in many applications, such as recommender systems. To evaluate the similarity between two trees, concept corresponding nodes should be identified by constructing an edit distance mapping between them. Sometimes, the intension of one concept includes the intensions of several other concepts. In that situation, a one-to-many mapping should be constructed from the point of view of structures. This paper proposes a tree similarity measure model that can construct this kind of mapping. The similarity measure model takes into account all the information on nodes&rsquo; concepts, weights, and values. The conceptual similarity and the value similarity between two trees are evaluated based on the constructed mapping, and the final similarity measure is assessed as a weighted sum of their conceptual and value similarities. The effectiveness of the proposed similarity measure model is shown by an illustrative example and is also demonstrated by applying it into a recommender system.<br /

    Abstract. One of the pollutants that have the potential to pollute rivers and aquatic biota is heavy metals due to community activities around the river. This study aims to determine how the content of Cr6 + and Zn in water and meat of Puyau fish found in the Alalak River, West Berangas Region. This research is a descriptive study with a type of survey research. Water sampling is done using a Kemmerer water sampler and fish sampling using a fishing rod. Tests of Cr6 + and Zn content in water were carried out at the Banjarmasin Health Laboratory and the Cr6 + and Zn content were carried out at the Banjarbaru MIPA basic Laboratory using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results showed an average Cr6 + content in Alalak River waters was 0.11275 mg / L and Zn was 0.0658 mg / L. The content of Cr6 + and Zn has exceeded the quality standard threshold (0.05 mg / L) that has been determined based on South Kalimantan Governor Regulation No.5 of 2007 concerning river quality standards. The average Cr content in Puyau fish meat was 21.415 mg / Kg and Zn was 46.0175 mg / Kg. The Cr6 + and Zn content in Puyau fish has also exceeded the threshold (0.05 mg / Kg; 0.1 / mg / Kg) determined by the DirectorGeneral of POM No. 03725 / SK / VII / 1989. The community is expected to not often consume puyau fish found in the waters of the Alalak River because its Cr6 + and Zn content have exceeded the required threshold.     Keragaman Jenis Tumbuhan Paku Terestrial di Kawasan Bendung Amandit Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan

    Tumbuhan paku merupakan kelompok tumbuhan kosmopolit yang dapat ditemukan di berbagai jenis habitat dan memiliki nilai ekologis maupun ekonomis, seperti dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman hias, sayuran, serta bahan obat-obatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tumbuhan paku terestrial di kawasan Bendung Amandit, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan metode line transek pada empat transek sepanjang 500 meter, serta pengukuran parameter lingkungan seperti intensitas cahaya, kecepatan angin, pH tanah, kelembapan tanah, kelembapan udara, suhu udara, dan ketinggian tempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 12 jenis tumbuhan paku terestrial yang termasuk ke dalam 6 famili, yaitu Christella dentata, Pityrogramma calamelanos, Taenitis blechnoides, Lygodium circinnatum, Selaginella plana, Schizaea dichotoma, Schizaea digitata, Tectaria polymorpha, Pteris fauriei, Selaginella ornata, Nephrolepis exaltata, dan Pteris ensiformis.     Media Development Interactive Learning Based Articulate Storyline Materials Movement Systems on Humans Class XI High School

    The development of learning media that can be an option so that it can support the times is an interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline. Effective and interesting interactive learning media, especially for the concept of the human motion system which is classified as complex, can help students achieve the expected learning objectives. This study aims to describe the needs of teachers and student needs, validity, and practicality of the results of the development of interactive learning media on human motion system material. This research is a research and development (R&amp;D) with the 4D model (Thiagarajan et al., 1974). Data collection techniques used instruments of teacher needs and learner needs, validity, and practicality. The research subjects were 3 (three) experts consisting of Biology Education lecturers and one partner teacher and tested at SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin Class XI MIPA as many as 12 (twelve) students. The test results show the need to develop interactive learning media on the material of the human motion system, very valid in the validity test, and very practical in the practicality test. This shows that the results of the development of interactive learning media on the material of the human motion system are valid and practical.
