Cooperation between a Public Library and Kinderkarten: A Multiplecase Study

Bachelor's thesis aims to describe the actual state and options for cooperation between a public library and a kindergarten. The thesis is focused on supporting preschool children in reading. The text is interested in developing reading habits in preschool children and describes the kindergartens, their support in this topic and the state of the public libraries in relation to the preschool children. In respect of the chosen subject and the aim of the thesis, used methods are quality research, specifically design of the case study containing cooperation of three kindergartens and the public library. Data are collected using half structured in-depth interview and content analysis of spaces for readers in the kindergarten and the public library. From the research outcome it is clear that the kindergarten stimulate cooperation with the public libraries especially for introducing children to the library's space. This action is also beneficial for the public library in the rise of readers.Bakalářská práce s cílem popsat reálný stav a možnosti spolupráce veřejné knihovny a mateřské školy v podpoře čtenářství dětí předškolního věku se zabývá rozvojem čtenářství dětí předškolního věku, popisuje mateřské školy v podpoře čtenářství a stav veřejných knihoven ve vztahu k dítěti předškolního věku. S ohledem na zvolené téma a cíl práce jsem využila kvalitativní výzkum, konkrétně desing případové studie, který popisuje spolupráci tří mateřských škol s veřejnou knihovnou. Jako metoda sběru dat byl využit polostrukturovaný hloubkový rozhovor a obsahová analýza čtenářských prostředí v mateřských školách a knihovně. The impact of management methods on the \kur{D. sambucina} populations' size and it's occurrence in the Vsetin region.

The occurrence of the orchid species Dactylorhiza sambucina was verified at 86 localities in the region of Vsetínské vrchy and Javorníky mountains. The suitability of the management methods for grassland ecosystems with the occurrence of D. sambucina was studied from the point of view of the composition of the vegetation and a comparison of the historical management with current practices. In addition, the sizes of the populations of D. sambucina at the localities with different management regimes were compared and the reaction of the populations to the changes in management practices was discussed

Microcytic anemia, a survey of the prevalence of these diseases and of the prevalence of patients with limit values for these diseases

This bachelor thesis is focused on anemia and the theoretical and practical analysis of microcytic anemias and their mechanisms. Anemia is the most widespread blood disorder. This disease affects nearly 30 % of the whole world. The theoretical part concerning microcytic anemias further analyzes three most typical microcytic disorders, iron deficiency anemia, anemia of chronic disease and thalasemia. Iron deficiency anemia is the most common, from these anemias and in the whole world. Anemias of chronic disease are detected in patients with a serious primary illness, in other words this anemia is a secondary illness. Thalasemia is not as widespread and it is less detected in patients. It is an genetical disorder of the structural composition of hemoglobin. The theoretical part also includes a section on iron metabolism and a chapter on haemoglobin. The practical part was prepared at the haematology laboratory of the Hořovice Hospital using the Allinity hq blood analyser from Abbott. In addition to the classical processing of samples on the analyzer, blood smears were created to assess the difference between a healthy individual and an individual with pathological erythrocyte changes. The number of analyzed samples was 271 and from that 31 % of the samples showed signs of anemia. These samples were predominantly from women, almost 65 %. The most represented type of anaemia, in terms of MCV, was normocytic anaemia. Microcytic anemias were evident in almost one-fifth of the anemic samples. There was a preponderance of hypochromic probands in the samples in which microcytic anemia was demonstrated. The blood smear values were supplemented with iron, transferrin and ferritin values from the biochemistry laboratory. Unfortunately, the number of these samples was not sufficient for further diagnostic evaluation

Farmářské prodejny v Brně a jejich zákazníci

This bachelor thesis deals with consumer behavior on the organic food and local farmers food markets in Brno. It focuses on identification of factors which influence customer behavior of farmers stores and health food stores, their needs and preferences in contrast to conventional grocery stores customers. The main source for analysis of consumer behavior was a questionnaire survey conducted on sample of 302 respondents. The quantitative survey was extended with in-depth interviews with managers of selected shops (n = 9). The data was collected within October and November 2014. The survey results allowed suggest recommendations for retailers on the organic food and local farmers food market
