Kajian Ekspresi Bangunan Eiger Adventure Store Jl. Sumatera Bandung Ditinjau dari Eksterior dan Interior Bangunan

In designing a building, exterior and interior design have a very important role. Exterior and interior design of a building can show an expression to be conveyed by the building. Expression of the building design which is conveyed cannot be separated from the exterior and interior of the building itself. A building, such as mall building, should be able to express the things associated with the items to be sold. The building used as study material in this paper is “Eiger Adventure Store” building which is located at Jl Sumatra, Bandung. This building was chosen by considering the fact that the expression of this building appears to match the products they are selling which are every objects associated with adventure. In other words, an expression that is tried to deliver by this building is related to an adventure. It can be seen from the use of the tent roof that gives the sense of a mountain, which depicts Mount Eiger in Switzerland. And also, the use of natural materials such as wood and stone is very dominant in this building façade

Gangguan Fisiologis Wereng Batang Padi Coklat Akibat Pemberian Abu Terbang Batubara

Coal fly ash (CFA) can be used as a control agent of brown plant hopper (BPH) Nilaparvata lugens (Hemiptera; Delphacidae). This study was aimed to investigate the physiological disorders in BPH when exposed to CFA. The research was conducted by carrying out tests covering the mortality of BPH, measurement of BPH weight before and after CFA treatment, an analysis of the moisture content in BPH, an analysis of the BPH tissue, and a chemical analysis of BPH. The results of the study showed that the mortality rate of BPH after treatment was 71%. The physiological disorders due to CFA treatment was indicated by a 67.04% weight reduction as opposed to a 6.9% weight increase on the control specimens. The average moisture content of the treated BPH was significantly lower than that of the control specimens. CFA caused a shrinkage of body tissues and an increase in the contents of silica and alumina on BPH

Design and Development of Hand and Foot Contamination Monitor

A hand and foot contamination monitor is a health physics instrument to provide detection and measurement of beta-gamma contamination on the palm of each hand and on the bottom surface of both feet/shoes. There are four channels of detection for two hands and two feet. Four G-M detectors have been used in a single unit to cover the whole area of hand and feet. A regulated high voltage DC power supply (900 V) has been designed using the PIC12F675 microcontroller to operate the pancake Geiger-Müller detectors. The reading is displayed on a linearly scaled 0-100 Bq/cm2 analog panel meter. The monitor detects beta–gamma radiation emitted by radioactive materials, and if the detected value exceeds a preset level, the monitor sounds an alarm and displays a reading in the respective panel meter. Indicator lamps are used to show the status of contamination. The performance of the system has been tested by using pulse generator and by flat surface radioactive calibration sources. Electronic linearity, detection efficiency, response to the contamination, calibration factor and percentage of error has been measured. Penyampaian Cerita Sunset Deity Dalam Pameran Multimedia Eksperimental

Setiap storytelling berupaya untuk membawa cerita menemukan audiensnya melalui medium tertentu. Di era perkembangan informasi dan teknologi,storytelling memiliki kesempatan eksplorasi medium-penceritaan baru yang lebih luas – multimedia storytelling. Salah satu inisiator pengembangkonten multimedia di Indonesia adalah Perusahaan perintis bernama Merchant of Emotion– sebuah rumah produksi yang bercita-cita secara konsistenmenerbitkan dan menjual cerita-cerita orisinilnya dalam bentuk franchise. Pada tahun 2014 – 2015 ini, Merchant of Emotion merilis ceritapertamanya bertajuk Sunset Deity. Medium pertama yang dipilihnya adalah Pementasan Teater Multimedia. Untuk melanjutkan upaya storytellingdan franchising dari Sunset Deity ini, kemudian dirancang sebuah pameran multimedia eksperimental yang mengutamakan aspek storytelling

Memperkenalkan Bandung Kepada Orang Jepang melalui Film Animasi

Hal pertama yang muncul di benak Orang Jepang ketika mendengar Indonesia adalah Jakarta dan Bali, namun Bandung yang memiliki banyak potensi di dalamnya tidak begitu dikenal. Melalui perancangan film animasi yang mengangkat Bandung, diharapkan nama Bandung akan semakin terkenal dan minat Orang Jepang terhadap Bandung meningkat sehingga timbul keinginan untuk mengunjungi Bandung. Interaksi di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan perbedaan kebudayaan yang terjadi antara Orang Jepang dan Bandung dibungkus dengan menarik melalui bentuk storytelling film animasi

Ideologi JPNN.com dan Merdeka.com dalam Wacana Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi tentang UU Cipta Kerja Nomor 11 Tahun 2020

Penelitian in dilatarbelakangi oleh polemik  UU Cipta kerja. Banyak pihak yang pro dan kontra terhadap UU Cipta kerja ini. Berkaitan dengan itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ideologi dan keberpihkan media JPNN.com dan Merdeka.com berkaitan dengan wacana putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi atas hasil uji formil Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja Nomor 11 tahun 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Analisis Wacana Kritis AWK model van Dijk terutama yang menyoal analisis ideologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa JPNN.com secara ideologis memihak kepada putusan MK dan MK, sedangkan Merdeka.com sebaliknya cenderung memihak kepada  UU Cipta kerja dan  Pemerintah. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan bukti-bukti kebahasaan seperti  kata Couterfactual,   Leksikalisasi,  Hiperbola,  Evidenthiality-authority,   Negative Other-representation - Number game, Presuposisi,  dan Kategorisasi yang digunakan JPNN.com dan Merdeka.com dalam merepresentasikan putusan MK, MK, UU Cipta Kerja, dan Pemerintah secara berbeda-beda

Sintesis Katalis Basa Padat Nanomagnetik CaO/Serbuk Besi untuk Reaksi Transesterifikasi Minyak Sawit Off Grade Menjadi Biodiesel

Nanomagnetic solid base catalyst synthesized with iron powder nanoparticle to load calcium oxide through impregnation method. The optimum conditions for the manufacture of catalysts investigated. Effect of weight ratio of CaO to iron powder and calcination temperature on the catalytic performance were studied. The catalyst with the highest activity is obtained when the weight ratio of CaO to iron powder is 80:20 and calcination temperature of 850 °C under transesterification reaction conditions of a molar ratio of methanol/oil 10:1, catalyst dosage of 1% by weight, temperature of 70 °C for 2 hours with biodiesel results reached 81.32%. CaO, Fe2O3 and Ca(OH)2 material was found in the catalyst through x-ray diffraction with a catalyst alkalinity values of H_ > 9.3 through alkalinity analysis using hammet indicator phenolphthalein and specific surface area of catalyst is 1.963 m2/g through Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis

Roban mountain area become alternative natural tourist destination in Singkawang its natural beauty. However, until now there is no need of the local government and the private sector for the development of its tourism. Perhaps, due to the lack of information about the potential attractiveness of Roban Mountain area. The purpose of this study was to looking for data on the potential attractiveness of the region Roban Mountain area. Data processing done by descriptive analysis is performed a weighting and assessment based on the Guidelines for Regional Operations Analysis Objects and Attraction Nature Directorate General of PHKA (2003) which has been modified. The most popular attraction in Roban Mountain area : the view from the top of the mountain, integrity of natural resources, fres air and good atmosphere. Climbing activity is the most popular visitor activity. The assessment result all of attraction criteria have score 1233,42 that means this area have potential attraction (B).
