    Evaluating a Preprocessing Pipeline for Fetal Phonocardiography Using FIR Filtering

    This study evaluates the effectiveness of a preprocessing pipeline consisting of resampling, normalization, and Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filtering to improve signal consistency for further signal analyses such as feature extraction and classification. Resampling standardizes the sampling rate to 16 kHz, ensuring uniform temporal resolution. Normalization adjusts amplitude across recordings, yielding a mean of 0,0015 and a standard deviation 0,0462. FIR filtering reduces noise, eliminating 77,69% of signal energy above 200 Hz while retaining 29,65% of the main signal. Pipeline evaluation shows a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of -1,88 dB, indicating a significant power reduction, but normalization ensures amplitude stability. These results demonstrate that this preprocessing combination effectively reduces noise, although balancing noise reduction and signal preservation remains challenging

    Cognitive Successive Interference Cancellation for Multi-User Visible Light Communication Systems

    Wireless communication technology continues to face challenges in meeting high bandwidth demands and the capability to serve numerous users. One promising solution is the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme, particularly through the use of power domain (PD) in the application of visible light communication (VLC) technology. However, PD-NOMA still faces power allocation and detection issues at the receiver end. We propose the Cognitive-SIC-VLC method, which considers the line of sight (LOS). Using combined multiplexing techniques, variations in user positions within the system can result in low SNR (dB) values when detecting a BER threshold of 10-3. In three power allocation experiment scenarios, the third scenario was the best with an initial power allocation of 0.95 and a power increment for each user of 0.05.     Sarana Pelaporan Angka Bebas Jentik dan Deteksi Jentik Nyamuk menggunakan Deep Learning

    AbstrakDemam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia. Kabupaten Jember mencatat 1.627 kasus pada tahun 2024, dengan Angka Bebas Jentik (ABJ) hanya mencapai rata-rata 92%, di bawah standar nasional >95%. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem deteksi jentik nyamuk otomatis menggunakan metode Deep Learning berbasis CNN dan GRU. Fitur visual diekstraksi melalui model InceptionV3, kemudian dianalisis secara sekuensial oleh GRU untuk klasifikasi larva. Hasil menunjukkan model mencapai akurasi pelatihan dan pengujian dengan performa optimal pada epoch ke-20 sebesar 99.19%, loss 0.0419. Jika dibandingkan dengan metode sebelumnya (AOA) yang hanya mencapai 84%, pendekatan ini terbukti lebih akurat dan tahan terhadap variasi kondisi data.Kata kunci: Demam Berdarah Dengue, Aedes aegypti, Angka Bebas Jentik, Deep Learning, Gated Recurrent Unit, Deteksi OtomatisAbstractDengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health issue in Indonesia. In 2024, Jember Regency recorded 1,627 cases, with the Larvae Free Index (LFI) averaging only 92%, below the national standard of >95%. This study developed an automatic mosquito larvae detection system using a Deep Learning approach based on CNN and GRU. Visual features were extracted using the InceptionV3 model and then analyzed sequentially by the GRU for larval classification. The results showed that the model achieved optimal training and testing performance at the 20th epoch with 99.19% accuracy and a loss of 0.0419.     Design and Development of an Electric Stove for Wood Powder Roasting using Fuzzy Logic

    Kampung Seni Grajen utilizes this wood dust waste to create high-value paintings through a manual roasting process, which requires significant time and intensive supervision. This study aims to develop an electric stove based on fuzzy logic to improve the efficiency of the wood dust roasting process. The electric stove employs a Band Heater as a heating element, controlled by an AC-AC Controller and fuzzy logic to regulate the temperature automatically. The system is also equipped with an agitator to ensure even heat distribution. Testing was conducted using both open-loop and closed-loop methods. In the open-loop testing, the input voltage directly affected the temperature, but the temperature increase was not always linear. The closed-loop testing demonstrated that the system could maintain a stable temperature in the range of 84°C to 87°C, with an error rate of 2.38%, despite slight discrepancies due to environmental factors or sensor tolerances.     Analisis Pengaruh Reward Terhadap Produktivitas Pekerja Konstruksi (Studi Kasus: Pekerjaan Pier Proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung)

    ABSTRAKProduktivitas dalam pekerjaan konstruksi merupakan ukuran penting untuk menilai sejauh mana sumber daya antara lain pekerja, material, peralatan, dan manajemen dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam proses pelaksanaan proyek. Selain dipengaruhi oleh aspek teknis, produktivitas juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor sosial dan psikologis. Salah satu faktor yang ditinjau adalah pemberian reward atau penghargaan terhadap karyawan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap produktivitas tenaga kerja konstruksi, dengan mengambil studi kasus pada pekerjaan pembangunan pier di proyek Kereta Api Cepat Jakarta–Bandung. Dalam upaya mempercepat durasi pekerjaan, pihak pelaksana menerapkan strategi pemberian reward sebagai bentuk motivasi kerja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa reward memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Dengan pemberian reward produktivitas tenaga kerja dalam pekerjaan pier meningkat dari 0,022 pier/hari menjadi 0,04 pier/hari. Selain itu, pemberian reward juga memunculkan pola kerja baru yang mengarah kepada usaha peningkatan produktivitas kerja seperti disiplin memulai kerja lebih pagi dan peningkatan semangat untuk bekerja lembur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendekatan manajerial yang tidak hanya fokus pada teknis pelaksanaan, tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek penghargaan terhadap tenaga kerja sebagai bagian dari strategi peningkatan kinerja proyek secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: produktivitas, reward ABSTRACTProductivity in construction work is a crucial measure to assess how effectively resources such as worker, materials, equipment, and management are utilized during project implementation. In addition to being influenced by technical aspects, productivity is also affected by social and psychological factors. One of the factors examined in this study is the provision of reward or incentives to workers. This research investigates the effect of reward systems on the productivity of construction worker, using a case study of pier construction in the Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Railway project. In an effort to accelerate project duration, the contractor implemented a reward strategy as a motivational approach. The findings indicate that rewards had a positive impact on worker productivity, increasing the rate from 0.022 piers/day to 0.04 piers/day. Additionally, the reward system encouraged new working patterns aimed at improving productivity, such as increased discipline to start work earlier and greater enthusiasm for working overtime. This study highlights the importance of managerial approaches that go beyond technical execution by incorporating recognition and motivation strategies as integral components in enhancing overall project performance.Keywords: productivity, rewar

    Penerapan Arsitektur Modern Tropis Pada Perancangan Al-Bahru Islamic Boarding School di Ciburial Bandung

    ABSTRAK Pendidikan di Jawa Barat masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti kualitas yang tidak merata dan tuntutan pembentukan karakter di era globalisasi. Boarding school yang menggabungkan pembelajaran dan pemondokan dapat menjadi solusi dalam membentuk karakter kuat sebagai bagian dari standar pendidikan modern. Konsep arsitektur modern yang menekankan fungsi, kesederhanaan, dan penggunaan material baru dapat diterapkan tanpa mengabaikan kebutuhan desain di kawasan tropis. Kajian ini membahas bagaimana rancangan Al-Bahru Islamic Boarding School di Ciburial, Bandung, memadukan arsitektur modern dan tropis untuk merespons tantangan iklim. Metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan holistik digunakan untuk memahami kebutuhan ruang. Rancangan ini berdasarkan analisis data tapak, literatur, dan studi banding yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk visual. Konsep modern tampak pada fasilitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, ruang kelas fleksibel, laboratorium mutakhir, dan ramp untuk aksesibilitas difabel dan orang tua. Sementara itu, konsep tropis diterapkan melalui tata ruang, atap overstek lebar, bukaan besar untuk pencahayaan alami, dan secondary skin sebagai penghalang sinar matahari langsung.Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perpaduan desain modern dan tropis menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang sehat, nyaman, dan inspiratif. Boarding school ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi sekolah lain dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan berkualitas di Jawa Barat. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Arsitektur, Modern Tropis, PendidikanABSTRACT Education in West Java still faces challenges, such as unequal quality and the need for strong character development in the era of globalization. Boarding schools that integrate learning and dormitory life offer a solution for fostering strong character as part of modern education standards. A modern architectural concept that prioritizes functionality, simplicity, and innovative materials can be applied while still meeting tropical design needs. This study explores how the design of Al-Bahru Islamic Boarding School in Ciburial, Bandung, combines modern and tropical architecture to address climate challenges. A qualitative descriptive method with a holistic approach is used to analyze spatial needs. The design is based on site analysis, literature reviews, and comparative studies, presented in visual illustrations. The modern concept is reflected in technology-based learning facilities, flexible classrooms, advanced laboratories, and ramps for accessibility for people with disabilities and parents. Meanwhile, the tropical concept is applied through spatial planning, wide overhanging roofs, large openings for natural lighting, and secondary skin facades to reduce direct sunlight exposure. Findings show that integrating modern and tropical designs creates a healthy, comfortable, and inspiring learning environment.     Autonomous Navigation onto Autodocking Drone System using Computer Vision

    Autodocking is a sophisticated technology that allows drones to land automatically at a predetermined docking station. Computer vision plays an important role in the drone autodocking system, allowing the drone to "see" the intended object. The problem with drone control is the precision of determining and placing objects, in this case docking, where there is still a difference or error between the desired docking set point. The solution proposed in this article is to use the PID Controller (Proportional-Integral-Derivative Controller) algorithm. By using a PID controller, the drone can regulate its movements more precisely, maintain stability, and ensure proper landing. The results achieved using this approach, reached a 90% success rate (precision) with control of several environmental parameters. first page.     ABSTRAKIndustri otomotif menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mengelola dan menyajikan informasi yang relevan serta terstruktur di tengah meningkatnya volume data digital. Penelitian ini memperkenalkan sistem pencarian dan peringkasan berbasis teks menggunakan model BART (Bidirectional and Auto-Regressive Transformers) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian informasi dan peringkasan konten. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan web scraping, preprocessing teks, TF-IDF, dan teknik cosine similarity untuk mengekstrak dan memproses data, menghasilkan hasil yang ringkas dan akurat. Evaluasi menggunakan metrik ROUGE dan umpan balik pengguna menunjukkan kemampuan sistem dalam menghasilkan ringkasan yang informatif dan efisien dengan waktu pemrosesan yang lebih cepat. Sistem ini mencapai performa sebesar rata rata 78.5 berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan. Temuan ini menyoroti efektivitas BART dalam menangani data otomotif yang kompleks dan memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna untuk mendapatkan ringkasan berita yang relevan, mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data di sektor otomotif.Kata kunci: Pencarian Informasi, BART, NLP, Otomotif, Peringkasan Teks.ABSTRACTThe automotive industry faces significant challenges in managing and presenting relevant and structured information amidst the growing volume of digital data. This study introduces a text-based search and summarization system using the BART (Bidirectional and Auto-Regressive Transformers) model to enhance the efficiency of information retrieval and content summarization. The system integrates web scraping, text preprocessing, TF-IDF, and cosine similarity techniques to extract and process data, delivering concise and accurate results. Evaluations using ROUGE metrics and user feedback demonstrate the system’s ability to produce informative and efficient summaries with reduced processing time. The system achieved a performance average score of 78.5 based on the evaluation. The findings highlight the effectiveness of BART in handling complex automotive data and meeting user needs relevant news summaries, thereby supporting data-driven decision-making in the automotive sector.Keywords: Information Retrieval, BART, NLP, Automotive, Text Summarization

    Penentuan Modulus Resilien Berdasarkan Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) pada Campuran AC-WC Menggunakan Aspal PG-76 dengan Gradasi KP 14 Tahun 2021

    ABSTRAKPenggunaan aspal PG-76 sengan gradasi KP 14 Tahun 2021 pada campuran AC-WC bertujuan meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap deformasi dan retak. Pengujian Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) dilakukan untuk menentukan modulus elastisitas campuran berdasarkan tegangan dan regangan. Metode melibatkan pembuatan benda uji Marshall, pengujian volumetrik, serta ITS pada dua kondisi: terkondisi dan tidak terkondisi. Kadar aspal optimum ditentukan sebesar 6%. Hasil menunjukkan nilai ITS pada benda uji terkondisi sebesar 935 kPa (0,94 MPa); sedangkan pada benda uji tidak terkondisi sebesar 1.119 kPa (1,12 MPa). Nilai Tensile Strength Ratio (TSR) mencapai 84%, memenuhi standar KP 14 Tahun 2021. Modulus resilien pada benda uji terkondisi sebesar 733 MPa dan 1.050 MPa pada benda uji tidak terkondisi. Hasil modulus resilien tersebut memiliki potensi penerapan yang baik dalam konstruksi lapisan permukaan fasilitas sisi udara bandara.Kata kunci: modulus resilien, aspal PG-76, kuat tarik tidak langsung, KP 14 Tahun 2021 ABSTRACTThe application of PG-76 asphalt with KP 14 Year 2021 gradation in AC-WC mixtures aims to enhance resistance against deformation and cracking. The Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS) test was conducted to determine the elastic modulus based on stress-strain response. The methodology included Marshall specimen preparation, volumetric testing, and ITS evaluation under conditioned and unconditioned states. The Optimum Asphalt Content (OAC) was determined as 6%. Results showed an ITS value of 935 kPa (0.94 MPa) for conditioned specimens and 1119 kPa (1.12 MPa) for unconditioned specimens. The calculated Tensile Strength Ratio (TSR) reached 84%, meeting KP 14 Year 2021 requirements. Resilient modulus values were found to be 733 MPa for conditioned specimens and 1050 MPa for unconditioned specimens. The result of resilience modulus exhibits strong potential for application in surface layer construction at airside airport facilities.Keywords: resilient modulus, PG-76 asphalt, indirect tensile strength, KP 14 Year 2021

    Perancangan dan Pembuatan Prototipe Mesin Pencacah Sampah Makanan

    Prototipe mesin pencacah sampah sisa makanan digunakan untuk mengolah sampah sisa makanan yang nantinya akan dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan untuk maggot Black soldier Fly. Prototipe mesin ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan teknologi proses yang sederhana dengan prinsip dasar pemotongan yang menggunakan dua buah pisau potong berbentuk silinder dan berputar pada arah berlawanan. Mesin ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi komunitas masyarakat pengelola sampah domestik terutama para penggiat budidaya maggot sekaligus mengurangi masalah lingkungan akibat sampah makanan yang tidak terurai dengan baik. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik, dimana komponen-komponen utama mesin pencacahan ini memperlihatkan kekuatan yang lebih besar daripada beban yang terjadi. Tegangan lentur pada pangkal mata potong pisau sebesar 1,231 Mpa dan teganagn kombinasi pada poros pisau sebesar 1,229 MPa lebih kecil daripada tegangan ijin bahan SS400 sebesar 42,5 MPa. Factor of safety untuk kedua komponen tersebut adalah sebesar 34,52 dan 34,58. Kapasitas terbesar dari mesin ini dicapai pada pengujian dengan lebar celah antara pisau 1 mm yaitu sebesar 187,2 kg/jam. Kapasistas lebih kecil dicapai pada pengujian dengan lebar celah antara pisau 0,5 mm, yaitu 153,3 kg/jam. Efisiensi mesin terbesar dicapai pada pengujian dengan lebar celah antara pisau sebesar 0,5 mm yaitu dengan angka efisiensi 72,72 %. Efisiensi lebih kecil dicapai pada pengujian dengan lebar celah antara pisau 1 mm, yaitu dengan angka efisiensi 68,72 %.
