    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pembuktian (KP) dan disposisi berpikir kreatif matematis (DBKM) mahasiswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan induktif-deduktif berbasis definisi termodifikasi (PIDIDT) dan dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan konvensional ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematik (KAM) dan jalur masuk perguruan tinggi. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO) dan sampel dalam penelitian adalah semua mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UHO Angkatan 2011. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Peningkatan KP mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan PIDIDT lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional (PKV). (2) Tidak ada perbedaan antara DBKM mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan PIDIDT dan mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional, (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan jalur masuk perguruan tinggi terhadap peningkatan KP dan DBKM mahasiswa, dan (4) Tidak ada interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan KAM mahasiswa terhadap peningkatan KP dan DBKM mahasiswa.;--- This study aims to analyze the ability of proving (AP) and and disposition of mathematical creative thinking (DMCT) of students learn by using inductive-deductive approach based on the modified definition (IDMD) and compared to students who learned with the conventional approach in terms of mathematical initial ability and higher education admission path. The method used in this study is a quasi experiment with the population study are students of mathematic study program of Pedagogic and Education Science Faculty, University of Halu Oleo (UHO) and samples in the study were all students degree 2011 of mathematic study program of Pedagogic and Education Science Faculty. The results of this study are: (1) the AP enhancement of students who get IDMD is better than students who get conventional learning, (2) there is no difference between DMCT of students who get IDMD approach and students who get conventional learning, (3) there is no interaction between learning approach with higher education admission path toward AP and DMCT enhancement of students, and (4) there is no interaction between learning approach and students’ mathematical initial ability toward the enhancement of students’ AP and DMCT

    Isolation, identification and bioactivity test of nonpolar compunds has been conducted on n-hexane extract sponge Haliclona (Reniera) fascigera of the island Samalona, Makassar, South Sulawesi. Isolation techniques consist of maceration, partition, fractionation using 2 steps using vacuum column chromatography and flash column chromatography and also purification step. Identification of isolate was analyzed with TLC, FTIR, GC-MS, and 1H NMR. The research result was obtained isolate as much as 4 mg and clear solid form. FTIR analysis indicate functional group OH, CH??2, CH3, C=O, =CH and C-O. Identification of spot TLC under UV light and spotting solvent show that the spot was active on UV long and short waves and dark brown with cerium sulphate. The results show that isolate A contain aliphatic and alcohol compounds. Bioactivity test results indicate that these isolate A be able to inhibit the growth of bacteria Staphylococus aureus with inhibition zone diameter were 11.60 mm (100 ppm); 10.40 mm (50 ppm); 9.50 mm (25 ppm); 6.50 mm (10 ppm); 6,60 mm (negative control); 17.40 mm (positive control) and against bacteria Escherichia coli with inhibition zone diameter were 6.70 mm (100 ppm); 6,10 mm (50 ppm); 5,90 mm (25 ppm); 5.85 mm (10 ppm); 5,20 mm (negative control); 18.60 mm (positive control)

    Olahraga adalah salah satu aktivitas fisik dan aktivitas psikis seseorang untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dan kebugaran orang yang bersangkutan. Banyak sekali jenis olahraga yang digemari dan bisa dilakukan supaya kesehatan dan kebugaran tetap terjaga, salah satunya adalah olahraga Bulutangkis. Bulutangkis merupakan salah satu olahraga yang sangat populer di kalangan masyarakat menengah  ke bawah hingga masyarakat menengah ke atas dan olahraga bulutangkis merupakan salah satu olahraga  paling populer di dunia. Olahraga ini menarik minat dari berbagai golongan usia mulai usia anak – anak ,remaja, taruna, dewasa hingga lansia.                  Untuk menjadi atlet bulutangkis, seseorang itu  harus memiliki beberapa faktor penunjang yaitu latihan secara intensif dan bertahap sehingga memiliki teknik pukulan dasar yang baik. Bulutangkis sendiri merupakan olahraga yang diawali dengan pukulan Servis. Jadi dalam hal ini Servis merupakan pukulan awal untuk memulai sebuah pertandingan bulutangkis.                  Hal inilah yang melandasi penulis untuk melakukan sebuah penelitian tentang akurasi pukulan servis pada pemain PB Kartini Bangkalan usia 14 – 16 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan memberikan test berupa tes servis pada pemain PB Kartini Bangkalan. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah aplikasi SPSS 21 dan penghitungan manual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pukulan servis pendek atlet PB Kartini Bangkalan menunjukkan hasil baik. Sedangkan pukulan servis panjang atlet PB Kartini Bangkalan menunjukkan hasil yang sedang.   Kata Kunci : fisik, intensif, servis, akuras

    ANALISIS KANDUNGAN GIZI PADA IKAN BANDENG YANG BERASAL DARI HABITAT YANG BERBEDA

    Bandeng (Chanos chanos, Forskal) merupakan salah satu komoditas yang strategis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan protein yang relatif murah dan digemari oleh konsumen di Indonesia.  Bandeng sebagai bahan pangan, merupakan sumber zat gizi yang penting bagi proses kelangsungan hidup manusia Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komposisi kimia daging ikan bandeng yang berasal dari habitat yang berbeda yaitu air tawar dan air payau. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua tahap yaitu preparasi sampel saat transportasi dan preparasi bahan baku untuk memisahkan daging, kulit, tulang dan jeroan. Analisa yang dilakukan yaitu analisis proksimat, asam amino, asam lemak, mineral dan vitamin. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa ikan bandeng dari dua habitat memperoleh rendemen yang berbeda. Rendemen ikan bandeng air tawar sebesar 38,5%, sedangkan air payau sebesar 50,8%. Ikan bandeng kaya akan sumber protein (20-24%), asam amino, asam lemak, mineral dan vitamin. Komposisi asam amino tertinggi yaitu glutamat sebesar 1,386% (air tawar) dan 1,268% (air payau). Asam lemak tidak jenuh tertinggi oleat 31-32%, mineral makro pada daging ikan bandeng yaitu: Ca, Mg, Na dan K. Mineral mikronya terdiri dari Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn. Kandungan vitamin daging ikan bandeng meliputi vitamin A, B1 dan B12.Kata Kunci: habitat berbeda, ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos, Forskal), kandungan giziTHE ANALYSIS OF NUTRITIONAL CONTENT OF MILKFISHES WHICH COME FROM DIFFERENT HABITATSABSTRACTMilkfish (Chanos chanos, Forskal) is one of the strategic commodities to fulfill protein need which is relatively cheap and favored by Indonesian consumer. Milkfish as a comestible is an important sources of nutrient for the survival of mankind. The objective of this research is to know the flesh’s chemical composition of the milkfishes come from different habitats which are freshwater and brackish water. The research was conducted through two stages, the stage of sample preparation for transportation, and the stage of raw material preparation like separating flesh, scale, bone, and offal. The analysis which was conducted was analysis of proximate, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. The finding showed that two milkfishes from two different habitats got different yields. The yield of freshwater milkfish was 38.5%, while the brackish water milkfish was 50.8%. Milkfishes are rich with protein source (20-24%), amino acid, fatty acid, mineral and vitamin.The highest composition of amino acid was glutamate by1.386% (freshwater milkfish) and 1.268% (brackish water milkfish). The highest unsaturated fatty acid was oleic by 31-32%, macro mineralson milkfish flesh which were: Ca, Mg, Na and K. The mineral micro consisted of Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn.     ABSTRACTSeaweed is a plant that has the potential to be cultivated and has many benefits, one of which is as a natural antioxidant because it contains bioactive compounds that function to ward off free radicals. One of the seaweeds that has the potential to be developed is Eucheuma cottonii.  This study aimed to analyze the proximate content, bioactive content and antioxidant activity of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed.  This research was carried out in several stages, namely: seaweed preparation, proximate analysis, phytochemical analysis, and antioxidant activity tests carried out at the Marine Biotechnology Laboratory, Trunojoyo University Madura.  The proximate content of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed is rich in water content in fresh form and rich in ash content in dry form, while the total fat content and protein content are very low.  Bioactive compounds in Eucheuma cottonii seaweed are alkaloids, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and saponins.  Eucheuma cottonii seaweed has the best antioxidant activity with methanol as a solvent with an IC50 of 757.05 ppm.  The results of this study indicate that Eucheuma cottonii seaweed has the potential to be developed in the functional food sector.Keywords: antioxidant, bioactive, Eucheuma cottonii, proximate.ABSTRAKRumput laut merupakan salah satu tanaman tingkat rendah yang berpotensi untuk dibudidayakan dan mengandung senyawa bioaktif dengan aktivitas antioksidan alami untuk menangkal radikal bebas. Salah satu jenis rumput laut yang berpotensi dikembangkan yaitu Eucheuma cottonii. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan proksimat, kandungan bioaktif dan aktivitas antioksidan dari rumput laut E. cottonii. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu: preparasi rumput laut, analisis proksimat, analisis fitokimia, dan uji aktivitas antioksidan yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bioteknologi Laut, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan proksimat dari rumput laut E. cottonii kaya akan kadar air dalam bentuk segar dan kaya akan kadar karbohidrat dalam bentuk kering. Senyawa bioaktif yang terdeteksi dalam rumput laut E. cottonii yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, triterpenoid, dan saponin. Rumput laut E. ottonii  mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan terbaik dengan pelarut metanol dengan IC50 sebesar 757,05 ppm. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii mempunyai potensi untuk dikembangkan dalam bidang pangan fungsional.Kata Kunci: antioksidan, bioaktif, Eucheuma cottonii, proksimat

    Chitin is one of the natural polymer compound which is totally generous sufficient and most total after cellulose. This research directed to know optimisation process for the extraction of chitin from the carapax crabs by using automatic machine extraction. The research covered the activity which is appearance of utomatic machine extraction making that consist of determination level of the first extraction of optimation process. This study to analyzied the composition of raw material quality of chitin and standard of optimation of chitin extraction process. At last, this research determined continu of level optimation extraction process include study in characteristic quality of chitin. This study conducted refers to exhibit time combination during the process especially for demineralisasi and deproteinasi of chitin. Analysis for chitin extraction consist of rendemen, ash value, nitrogen value, water value, whaiteness level and deasetilasi level. The result have influence significant to examined parameter as ash value, nitrogen value, water value, whiteness level and deasetilasi level. Optimum condition obtained from demineralisasi process at 100 0C temperature for 60 minutes and deproteinasi process at 100 0C temperature for 60 minutes by 9.279% rendemen; 7.257% water; 0.6398% ash, 5.4068% total nitrogen, 50.2% whaiteness level and 21.3% deasetilasi level.     KARAKTERISTIK PROKSIMAT DAN KANDUNGAN SENYAWA KIMIA DAGING PUTIH DAN DAGING MERAH IKAN TONGKOL (Euthynnus affinis)

    Indonesia has a marine biological resources are very large with the content of various types of creatures living in it. The biological richness of which are fish that have a benefit in the field of food and health. Tunafish (Euthynnus affinis) is a species that is very interesting to study both in terms of nutritional composition and in terms of its economy. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutrient content and chemical compounds contained in red meat and white meat tuna. Research methodology includes observation of morphology, proximate analysis and phytochemical analysis of tuna. The highest yield was found in meat that  50%. Proximate protein content of the highest in the white meat that was 68.36%, the highest fat in red meat was 5.6%, the highest in red meat ash 3.29%, and the highest water on the white meat that was 12.16%.     Meningkatnya aktivitas manusia di sekitar perairan Kecamatan Socah seperti limbah industri dan rumah tangga dari Bangkalan, tumpahan bahan bakar kapal yang langsung terbuang ke laut, tumpukan sampah yang sengaja dibuang ke laut dan aktivitas lewatnya kapal laut memungkinkan berpengaruh terhadap biota perairan.Ikan belanak sudah banyak dan ditangkap di perairan Socah.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan gizi dan kadungan logam berat ikan belanak (Mugil sp.) yang berada di sekitar perairan Socah.Penelitian dimulai dengan pengambilan dan preparasi sampel, pengujian kandungan proksimat dan logam berat dengan perlakuan ukuran ikan (12 cm dan 25 cm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendemen ikan belanak ukuran 12 cm sebesar 37,79% dan 38,87% untuk ikan belanak ukuran 25%. Kandungan kadar air berkisar 75,96-76,70%, kandungan protein berkisar 17,64-19,57%, kandungan lemak berkisar 2,83-3,33%, asam lemak bebas berkisar 1,43-1,47%, kandungan abu berkisar 1,14-2,94% dan kandungan karbohidrat berkisar 0,29-0,49%. Tidak terindikasi adanya logam berat Pb dan Hg pada perairan Socah dan pada daging ikan belanak.Kata kunci : belanak(Mugil sp), gizi, logam berat, perairan Soca
