Expansion Turbine

Obsahem bakalářské práce je rozebrání problému expanzní turbíny a její využití v paroplynovém cyklu. V úvodní části práce jsou popsány jednotlivé části cyklů, z nichž se paroplynový cyklus skládá, a to Brayton cyklus a Rankine-Clausius cyklus. Následně je popsán paroplynový cyklus. Dále je součástí práce stručný popis zemního plynu, jak se k nám dostává. Je zde popsána konvenční redukční stanice jak na redukci tlaku zemního plynu, tak i technologické páry. Hlavní částí práce je popis expanzní turbíny, rozdělení turbín, účinnost a popis parní i plynové expanzní turbíny. Je zde popsána paroplynová teplárna Červený Mlýn a součásti provozu. V ekonomickém zhodnocení je na příkladu ukázáno nahrazení konvenční redukční stanice v teplárně Červený Mlýn redukční stanicí s expanzní turbínou.The content of this bachelor thesis is the analysys of a problem of expansion turbines and their usage in the gas-steam cycle. In the first part the respective parts of the combided cycle are described, Brayton cycle and Rankine-Clausius cycle. The gas-steam cycle is discribed subsequently. In the second part the natural gas is briefly described and how it gets to us. There is described the conventional natural gas reduction station and the conventional process steam reduction station. The main part is a description of the expansion turbine, division of turbines, caluclation of efficiency and a description of steam and natural gas expansion turbine. Then there is a describtion of the steam-gas heating plant Červený mlýn and its parts. As an example of the economic evaluation the replacement of conventional reduction station at heating plant Červený mlýn by expansion turbine is shown.

Encrypted File Systems

Tato práce se věnuje problematice šifrovaných souborových systémů a je zaměřena převážně na řešení pro operační systém Linux. Nejprve uvádí do problematiky zdůvodněním, proč je nutné šifrovat. Dále pak popisuje principy šifrování souborů jako je šifrování celého disku, oddílu, kontejneru a souborů. Uvedeny jsou jejich jednotlivé výhody a nevýhody. Po úvodu jsou zmíněna bezpečnostní rizika, která mohou útočníkovi pomoci získat data nebo je pozměnit. Zpráva dále obsahuje stručný popis nejznámějších šifrovaných souborových systémů. U možností pro OS Linux je uveden způsob jejich použití a porovnání jejich rychlosti. V další části práce je nejprve uvedeno, jakým způsobem funguje šifrování dm-crypt s LUKS. Poté je pro tuto metodu popsán nově vytvořený nástroj od specifikace, přes implementaci až po testování. V závěru je uvedeno shrnutí informací, uvedeno přínos této práce a jakým způsobem by bylo možné v této práci pokračovat.This thesis is about encrypted filesystems and is aimed mainly for Linux solutions. At first there is explained why is it necessary to encrypt your data at all. Next is written about pros and cons of encrypting methods such as whole disk encryption, partition encryption, container encryption and file encryption. After the introduction there are mentioned most common security issues which can help attacker to decrypt your data or modify them. Furthermore this thesis contains short description about the most often used encrypted filesystems. There is also small how-to for the most important encrypted filesystems available in Linux and comparison of their speed. Next part of this thesis contains dm-crypt and LUKS description. In the last chapter all information are concluded. There is also mentioned benefit of this work and possibilities, what can be done in future.

Motion Sensors - their use for Controlling of the Computer by Human Body

Import 05/08/2014Tato práce je zaměřena na vytvoření aplikace pro hendikepované osoby s využitím pohybového senzoru Kinect od firmy Microsoft. Hlavním cílem je navrhnout způsob, jak úspěšně detekovat gesta, která nejsou součástí Kinect SDK. Aplikace funguje online i offline, s využitím databázového serveru, sloužícího pro správu uživatelských účtů, ukládání výsledků a nastavení. Tato hra je začleněna do projektu Edukin a slouží pro procvičení rozpoznávacích a paměťových schopností a také rozvoj jemné a hrubé motoriky.This thesis aims to create an application for disabled persons using the motion sensor Kinect from Microsoft. The main objective is to propose a way to successfully detect gestures, that are not part of the Kinect SDK. Application works both online and offline, using a database server to manage user accounts, storing results and settings. A Spiritual and Religious Speech as a Poem: Inspired by Heidegger’s Fouring

Such an orientation relates to the spiritual aspects of life. It is not possible to speak about them in the same way as everyday things in ordinary or professional scientific language, because by their very nature they do not allow for grasping in the form of definitions. Instead, poetry is presented as a possible testimony of spiritual aspects, the subtle. It does not seek to give a definitive description and explanation, but rather to capture the substance and, above all, to invite humans on the path to what it says. Poetry is presented as an important part of education and erudition, where in the spiritual direction the scientifically conceived language will not suffice

Optimization of production steering shaft

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou optimální dělené třísky při technologii soustružení. Materiálem pro zhotovení hřídele řízení je ocel C35RC vhodná ke tváření a obrábění, ze které se na horizontálních tvářecích lisech zhotovují polotovary. Ty se dále obrábějí na výrobní robotizované lince, kde vzniká problém s nedělenou třískou. Pro stanovené řezné podmínky jsou firmou používány řezné nástroje, které nejsou příliš vhodné pro dané typy technologických operací. Doporučené hodnoty řezných podmínek se liší od stanovených řezných podmínek. Výsledkem bude volba nových řezných nástrojů pro technologické operace soustružení, aby docházelo k tvorbě krátké dělené třísky.Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the optimal divided chip in the turning technology. The material for production of the steering shaft is steel C35RC suitable for forming and turning from which semi-finished products are produced at horizontally forming presses. They are machined at the production robotized line where the problem with the undivided chip arises. For the specified set of cutting conditions the uses the cutting tools which aren’t very suitable for the given types of technological operations. The recommended values of cutting conditions are different from the specified set of cutting conditions. The result will be choice of new-cutting tools for turning technological operations to shape short divided chip.

Adaptation options for wheat in Europe will be limited by increased adverse weather events under climate change

Ways of increasing the production of wheat, the most widely grown cereal crop, will need to be found to meet the increasing demand caused by human population growth in the coming decades. This increase must occur despite the decrease in yield gains now being reported in some regions, increased price volatility and the expected increase in the frequency of adverse weather events that can reduce yields. However, if and how the frequency of adverse weather events will change over Europe, the most important wheat-growing area, has not yet been analysed. Here, we show that the accumulated probability of 11 adverse weather events with the potential to significantly reduce yield will increase markedly across all of Europe. We found that by the end of the century, the exposure of the key European wheat-growing areas, where most wheat production is currently concentrated, may increase more than twofold. However, if we consider the entire arable land area of Europe, a greater than threefold increase in risk was predicted. Therefore, shifting wheat production to new producing regions to reduce the risk might not be possible as the risk of adverse events beyond the key wheat-growing areas increases even more. Furthermore, we found a marked increase in wheat exposure to high temperatures, severe droughts and field inaccessibility compared with other types of adverse events. Our results also showed the limitations of some of the presently debated adaptation options and demonstrated the need for development of region-specific strategies. Other regions of the world could be affected by adverse weather events in the future in a way different from that considered here for Europe. This observation emphasizes the importance of conducting similar analyses for other major wheat regions

Man Lives Ethically

Disertační práce představuje filosofující příspěvek k etice a etické výchově. Jejím záměrem je představit etiku nejen jako nauku o hodnotách a o pravidlech lidského soužití, ale především jako bytostné tázání, které člověka přivádí k duchovní hloubce jako pravá filosofie. K tématu nepřistupuje tak, že by analyzovala dílo jednoho nebo několika málo relevantních myslitelů, ale spíše se nechává vést tématem samotným a souvislostmi, ve kterých etika vystupuje. Inspirací je zde Heideggerovské pochopení světa jako tzv. Čtveřiny, ve které se člověk jakožto Smrtelný vztahuje k Zemi, Nebesům, a k Božskému. Jako Heidegger vysvětluje, že člověk se k hloubce světa vztahuje básnicky, pokouší se tato disertační práce vysvětlit, že také etické vztahování se ke světu je pro člověka něčím bytostným, od člověka neoddělitelným. Etická dimenze lidského jednání a rozhodování, která pramení z lidské svobody, je zde představena ve třech úrovních jako mrav, morálka a éthos. Zatímco mrav a morálka do značné míry vycházejí ze společenského nastavení a lze u nich hovořit o jisté konformitě, éthos představuje hlubokou vrstvu osobního autentického hledání dobrého. Jde o jednání v souladu se svědomím, které se orientuje podle Dobra. Dobro je představeno jako idea v platónském smyslu, jako nepředmětný celek, jako Božské. Its intention is to present ethics not only as a doctrine of the values and rules of human coexistence, but above all as an essential questioning that brings one to spiritual depth as a true philosophy. It does not approach to the topic by analyzing the work of one or a few relevant authors, but it is guided by the topic itself and the context in which ethics appears. The inspiration here is Heidegger's understanding of the world as the so-called Foursome, in which man, as Mortal, relates to the Earth, the Heavens, and the Divine. As Heidegger explains that man relates poetry to the depths of the world, this dissertation attempts to explain that ethical relation to the world is also something essential for man. The ethical dimension of human action and decision-making, which comes from human freedom, is presented here on diferent levels as morality and ethos. While morality is largely based on the social setting and can be described as a certain conformity, the ethos represents a deep personal authentic search for Good. It is an act in accordance with the conscience, which is oriented according to the Good. Good is presented as an idea in the Platonic sense, as a whole without border, as Divine. Realization of wireless data transfer for device configuration

Teoretická část je zaměřena převážně na technologii Bluetooth a popisuje jeho princip fungování, architekturu, zabezpečení a aplikační využití. V praktické části je popisován postup při konfiguraci Bluetooth sériových adaptérů, které nahrazují sériový kabel, realizace bezdrátového přenosu a aplikační využití tohoto zařízení.My work describes wireless technologies, which are used in wireless personal networks. The theoretic part is primarily focused on Bluetooth technology and describes the operating principles, architecture, security, and application usage. Satirical Image of Journalist in World Movie as a Reflection of Journalism

Bakalářská práce Satirický obraz novináře ve světovém filmu jako reflexe žurnalistiky si klade za cíl ukázat, jakým způsobem je novinářská profese zobrazena a kritizována v satirických filmech, v nichž vystupují novináři, na příkladech několika vybraných snímků. První část práce shrnuje obecnou historii filmového zobrazení novináře, věnuje se žurnalistickému filmu jako žánru a rozpolcenému kulturnímu vnímání novinářů. Druhá část práce se pak věnuje konkrétním satirickým filmům o žurnalistech. Pro představení tohoto specifického pojetí žurnalistického filmu bylo vybráno pět snímků, které jsou v práci detailněji analyzovány. Text stručně popisuje děje filmů a srovnává je s dobovými reáliemi, k nimž se vážou. Dále se práce zaměřuje na rozbor jednotlivých postav novinářů z vybraných a souvisejících filmů, přičemž tyto postavy srovnává s obvyklými stereotypy filmového zobrazení novináře podle Briana McNaira. U vybraných filmů jsou dále analyzovány také objekty satiry a využité nástroje satiry. Práce dále stručně popisuje také přijetí filmů (úspěch u kritiky, finanční úspěch, ale i reakce dotčených osob). Práce konstatuje, že satirické žurnalistické filmy jsou k novinářskému řemeslu velice kritické, byť často zároveň kritizují i konzumenty mediálních obsahů. Novináři jsou v satirických filmech většinou...Bachelor paper Satirical Image of Journalist in World Movie as a Reflection of Journalism aims mainly to show how journalistic profession is depicted and criticised in satirical movies about journalism by analysing some of those movies. The first part of the paper generally summarizes history of journalism in film and talks about journalism film as a genre and about ambivalent cultural perception of journalists. Second part of the paper is about particular satirical movies. To expose this specific approach to journalism film, five movies were selected. These movies are analysed in detail. The paper briefly summarizes plots of these movies and links them to real people, events and other related phenomena. Furthermore, the paper analyses particular characters of journalists from selected (and related) movies, and compares these characters with common movie journalist stereotypes (as they were described by Brian McNair). Means of satire, used in selected movies, are also analysed, as are objects of satire. The paper also briefly describes reception of selected films (critical reception, financial outcome and reactions of offended personalities).
