Strategi Komunikasi Kampanye Pengendalian Minuman Beralkohol (Perda Nomor 11 Tahun 2012) oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Sikka
Campaign strategy is a communication action plan to influence others. The aim of the research was to find out and axplain the communication strategy by the government of Sikka Regency in the campaign of alcoholic drink based on Local Regulation Number 11 Year 2012 in Sikka Regency, the implementation of socialization campaign of the control of alcoholic drikn, and the inhibiting factors of the campaign of control of alcoholic drink in Sikka Regency. The research used descriptive qualitative method trough interview and field observation. The results of the research that the government of Sikka regency to implementation of communication only linear with face to face. All sectors were excluded. Not perform segmentation and identification of audiences. There are several factors faced in the implementation of campaign such as the low level of community\u27s knowledge and participation, limited time and cost, ego sector, long bureaucratic system, and strong tradition and culture in the community. Campaign of the control alcoholic drink by the govermment of Sikka not through a good communication plan and compherensiv

Avogadro constant measurements using enriched 28Si monocrystals
Since 2011, the International Avogadro Coordination has been measuring the Avogadro constant by counting the atoms in enriched Si-28 monocrystals. This communication provides guidance on how the recently published results should be used to update the values of the Avogadro constant measured so far
Evaluation of evidence-base practice among eye care practitioners in Saudi Arabia : a cross sectional survey study
Background: The importance of evidence-based optometry practice in the current era of expanding role of optometry cannot be overemphasized. With many optometrists being involved in the diagnosis, management and co-management of various eye diseases, there is need to assess the quality of evidence-based used in their clinical decision making. Methods: A self-administered survey that was made available via emails was administered to practicing optometrists in Saudi Arabia. Responses were analyzed descriptively and Chi squared test was performed to determine the level of association between practitioner characteristics and sources of evidence. Results: A hundred and fourteen optometrists (62% men, 38% females) aged 31.0 ± 7.1 years with an average of 7.2 years of experience completed the survey (response rate 53%). The four most important factors they identified which underpinned their clinical decision making in their order of ranking were; patients’ signs and symptoms (86%), knowledge and information gained during the postgraduate training/continuing education (64%), undergraduate optometry training (46%) and internet databases such as Pubmed and Medline (45%). About 45% indicated that they did not read scientific journals regularly, but depended on text books for information. For those who often read peer reviewed journals, Optometry and Vision Science (42%), Saudi Ophthalmology Journal (19%) and Clinical and Experimental Optometry (18%), journals were the most common. Approximately, 68% had made some modifications in their clinical decisions based on new evidence from literatures gleaned from test books, within the last two years especially in the nature of their soft contact lens practice and subjective refraction. Only 59% completed the minimum hours of continuous education required for license renewal and for about two-third of the respondents (68%), this was primarily sourced from local seminars offered by the Saudi Association of Optometry and Vision Scientist. Conclusion: Saudi optometrists appear to use evidence that is not “up to date” or ‘high level’ and that does not support evidence-based practice. The findings suggest the need to re-educate Saudi Optometrists on how and where to search for, and the importance of using current evidence rather than being dependent on information provided by their educators
Effects of the -factor in semi-classical kinetic plasma theory
A kinetic theory for spin plasmas is put forward, generalizing those of
previous authors. In the model, the ordinary phase space is extended to include
the spin degrees of freedom. Together with Maxwell's equations, the system is
shown to be energy conserving. Analysing the linear properties, it is found
that new types of wave-particle resonances are possible, that depend directly
on the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron. As a result new wave modes,
not present in the absence of spin, appear. The implications of our results are
discussed.Comment: 4 pages, two figures, version to appear in Physical Review Letter
Proximate composition and fatty acids profiles of Artemia cysts and nauplii from different geographical regions of Iran
Artemia has been widely used in aquaculture as a suitable live food. The presence of highly unsaturated fatty acids is a key factor that determines the nutritional value and marketing of Artemia for shrimp, marine larvae, sturgeon and ornamental fish industries. To determine the variation in nutritional content in cysts, decapsulated cysts and nauplii of Artemia from three different biotopes of Iran, were tested for their protein, lipid, energy, and fatty acid profiles, particularly essential fatty acids. The cysts collected from Urmia, Maharlou and Meighan lakes, were rinsed, processed, decapsulated, hatched and then analyzed for proximate and fatty acid composition using standard methods. Statistical comparisons of the results revealed significant differences not only in proximate composition but also in fatty acid contents (p<0.05). The highest mean (±SD) level of protein (60.5±3.3%), lipid (18.60±1.1%) and energy contents (5448.3±10.4 Kcal/kg) were observed in Instar I nauplii hatched from Urmia Lake cysts, Instar I nauplii hatched from Maharlou Lake cyst and Instar I nauplii hatched from Urmia Lake decapsulated cyst, respectively. The highest content of DHA (0.78 mg/g DW) was observed in nauplii of cysts from Urmia Lake whereas it was around zero in other samples. The highest level of EPA (24.24 mg/g DW) was measured in nauplii from Maharlou Lake decapsulated cysts and the lowest (0.24 mg/g DW) was observed in Urmia lake cysts. The results revealed that the nauplii from decapsulated cysts of Maharlou Lake Artemia contained significantly higher levels of EPA and n-3 HUFA compared to others. Therefore, it is recommended to use it in aquatic larviculture
An accurate determination of the Avogadro constant by counting the atoms in a 28Si crystal
The Avogadro constant links the atomic and the macroscopic properties of
matter. Since the molar Planck constant is well known via the measurement of
the Rydberg constant, it is also closely related to the Planck constant. In
addition, its accurate determination is of paramount importance for a
definition of the kilogram in terms of a fundamental constant. We describe a
new approach for its determination by "counting" the atoms in 1 kg
single-crystal spheres, which are highly enriched with the 28Si isotope. It
enabled isotope dilution mass spectroscopy to determine the molar mass of the
silicon crystal with unprecedented accuracy. The value obtained, 6.02214084(18)
x 10^23 mol^-1, is the most accurate input datum for a new definition of the
kilogram.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, 3 table
