The objectives of this research were to find out the level farmer\u27s motivation in the refunding their loan at Baitul Maal Watamil (BMT) and to determine factors are associated with the level of motivation. This research was held on 15 November 2011 to 15 Desember 2011 in Srikaton Village in Central Bengkulu Regency. The respondents of this research were taken by using census technique. The results of this research indicate that the level of motivations to repay the loans at Baitul Maal Watamil (BMT) could be categorized in medium level or quite good. Pengaruh Kombinasi antara Pupuk Kandang dan Urea pada Tampilan Aspek Pertumbuhan Tanaman Rumput Raja pada Pemanenan Defoliasi ke Empat

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pola pemupukantanaman rumput raja (Pennisetum purphoides) padabudidaya defoliasi ke empat. Percobaan faktorial 3 x 3dengan rancangan dasar dilakukan dengan pola AcakLengkap, meliputi faktor macam pupuk yakni kotoranayam, domba dan sapi potong serta faktor level ureayakni 100, 200 dan 300 kg/ha/defoliasi. Perlakuan diulangsebanyak 3 (tiga) kali. Peubah yang diamati adalah ukurantinggi tanaman, besarnya diameter batang dan banyaknyajumlah tanaman.   This study aims to be able to determine the level of achievement of students' understanding of the subject of Natural Sciences (IPAS) after applying the learning method using simple generator learning media and to find out the effect of learning methods using simple generator learning media on increasing student understanding. This research took place at SDN Punten 01 Batu which was carried out from October to November 2022/2023 odd semester with the research subjects being students of class IV (Four). The results of this study concluded that the learning method using simple generator learning media can increase students' understanding which can be seen from the learning completeness of students in each cycle. The stage in cycle I got a presentation result of 36.36% while the stage in cycle II got a result of 81,82% so that the application of the learning method using simple generator learning media affects students' understanding which can increase students' learning motivation. Learning using this method has a very positive value in improving student learning achievement

Pengaruh Job Burnout Dan Kepuasan Kerja Melalui Komitmen Organisasionalterhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi Pada Karyawan Pt.pln (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VIII Surabaya)

Research was aimed to describe job burnout, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VIII Surabaya, and also to understand the effect of job burnout on organizational commitment, the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, the effect of organizational commitment on job performance, the effect job burnout on employee performance, and the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. Type of research was explanatory research with quantitative approach. Sample was 58 employees at PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan VIII Surabaya. Data collection method included questionnaire and documentation.The results showed that the variables of job burnout had negative and not significant negative effect on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction variables had significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Organisaional commitment variable had positive and not significant effect on employee performance. Job burnout variablehad significant and negative effect on the performance of employees. Job satisfaction vairable had significant positive effect on employee performance. .Job burnout and job satisfaction were influential to organizational commitment as proved by R-square of 0.368. Job burnout, job satisfaction and organizational commitment were influential to employee performance as proved by R-square of 0.501

Mangosteen Pericarp Inhibits Nuclear Factor ?B (NF-?B) Activation and Reduces Expression of ICAM-1 in High Cholesterol Diet Rat

Background: Atherosclerosis is widely viewed as an inflammatory disease with hypercholesterolemia being a dominant underlying risk factor. This study aimed to determine the effect of mangosteen pericarp in inhibition of NF-?B activation and ICAM-1 expression in rat fed with high cholesterol. Methods and Results: Various doses of crude extract mangosteen pericarp were administered to the high fat diet wistar rats and the activity of NF-?B measured by immunohistochemistry to assess nuclear NF-?B expression and the ICAM-1 expression. The high fat diet resulted significant increased serum LDL levels. Increased nuclear NF- ?B activation and ICAM-1 expression were also observed in high fat diet rats in concurrence with increased serum LDL. The inhibitory effect on NF- ?B activity and ICAM-1 expression was observed when 400 mg of mangosteen pericarp crude extract was administered and even showed a higher inhibitory effect in 800 mg of mangosteen pericap treated rats. The 800 mg extract treatment resulted in decreased ICAM-1 expression similar to those of non high fat rats. Conclusion: The administration of 800 mg mangosteen pericarp crude extract significantly inhibited NF-?B activation and reversed the expression of ICAM -1 to the normal level in high cholesterol diet rats
