Job satisfaction and mental health of temporary agency workers in Europe: a systematic review and research agenda

The current systematic literature review aimed to analyse the associations between temporary agency work (TAW), job satisfaction, and mental health in Europe, as well as to outline a future research agenda. Twenty-eight scientific articles were identified by searching different data bases (i.e. PSYNDEX, PsycINFO, PubMed, and Web of Science) for the time span from January 2000 to December 2016. Our review reveals first that TAW is not consistently negatively related to job satisfaction. However, job insecurity and working conditions are important mediators in the relation of TAW and lowered job satisfaction. Second, TAW is not consistently related to all investigated types of mental health impairments. However, when focusing on specific outcomes and comparing temporary agency workers to permanent employees, we still find consistent evidence regarding higher levels of depression and fatigue among temporary agency workers. Inconsistent associations between TAW, job satisfaction and mental health can partly be attributed to unfavourable methodological aspects of the included primary studies. To address these aspects, future research should consider applying a standard measurement of TAW, including a minimum of meaningful confounding variables, improving the operationalisation of outcome variables and the study design

Vliv Covidu na dodavatelský řetězec Volkswagen AG a jeho dopad na vytváření strategie pro budoucnost Covidu

This thesis deals with the analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on the supply chain management of Volkswagen AG. The goal is to derive meaningful implications to give strategic recommendations for the future planning of supply chain management of Volkswagen AG. By analyzing the structure of global supply chains, as well as trends, influences, uncertainties affecting the automotive industry and the company in particular, valuable insights to processes are gained useful for the predication/estimation of the future. The output of the thesis are specific scenarios of the future, that were created under the TAIDA framework. Additional input was provided through interviews with supply chain experts and industry professionals. Key findings are the identification of drivers for the structural change of the automotive industry, as well as mitigation and response practices in supply chain management in regard to supply chain disruptions.Tato práce se zabývá analýzou dopadu Covid-19 na řízení dodavatelského řetězce společnosti Volkswagen AG. Cílem je odvodit smysluplné důsledky pro poskytnutí strategických doporučení pro budoucí plánování řízení dodavatelského řetězce společnosti Volkswagen AG. Analýzou struktury globálních dodavatelských řetězců, stejně jako trendů, vlivů, nejistot ovlivňujících automobilový průmysl a zejména společnost, se získávají cenné poznatky o procesech užitečné pro predikci/odhad budoucnosti. Výstupem práce jsou konkrétní scénáře budoucnosti, které byly vytvořeny v rámci TAIDA. Další vstupy byly poskytnuty prostřednictvím rozhovorů s odborníky na dodavatelský řetězec a odborníky v oboru. Klíčovými zjištěními jsou identifikace hnacích sil pro strukturální změny automobilového průmyslu, stejně jako postupy zmírňování a reakce v řízení dodavatelského řetězce s ohledem na narušení dodavatelského řetězce

Upřednostnění spotřebitele z hlediska elektromobility - srovnání mezi Českou republikou a Německem

Tato studie se zabývá vztahem mezi makroekonomickými faktory a preferencí zákazníků z hlediska elektromobility. Tato práce si klade za cíl identifikovat faktory, které příznivě ovlivňují zavádění elektrických automobilů pro širokou veřejnost. Z tohoto důvodu byl proveden průzkum, který porovnává otevřenost / připravenost zákazníků v České republice a Německu připouští dané téma a zda zjištěné rozdíly mohou být spojeny s tržním prostředím.This study deals with the relationship between macro-economic factors and the preference of customers regarding electromobility. By comparing the market envrionment of the Czech Republic and Germany, this thesis aims to identify factors that positively influence an introduction of electric cars for the general public. For that reason a survey has been conducted, which compares the openness/readiness of customers in the Czech Republic and Germany conceding the topic, and whether the observed differences can be linked to the market environment

Die Arbeitswelt als gesundheitliche Herausforderung : Arbeitsbedingungen als Einflussfaktoren auf den Gesundheitszustand und das Gesundheitsverhalten von Angestellten in Deutschland

Basierend auf den Daten der Erhebung „Gesundheit in Deutschland Aktuell“ von 2010 (GEDA2010)vom Robert Koch-Institut wird in dieser Dissertation der Frage nachgegangen, wie sich Arbeitsbedingungen auf die Gesundheit und das Gesundheitsverhalten auswirken und eine systematische Analyse für Deutschland durchgeführt. Dabei werden sowohl Aspekte der Geschlechterforschung als auch der Erforschung sozialer Ungleichheiten mitbetrachtet. Die Ergebnisse liefern unteranderem Hinweise darauf, dass Gesundheitsverhalten als Coping-Strategie in stressreichen Arbeitssituationen, die beispielsweise durch Leistungsdruck oder Schichtarbeit gekennzeichnet sind, genutzt wird
