    Konsumsi masyarakat Indonesia akan kebutuhan energi, terutama sektor energi listrik semakin meningkat. Sedangkan di sisi lain persediaan minyak bumi kita semakin menipis. Karena itu upaya pencarian ynergi pengganti untuk masa depan harus dilakukan. Solusi yang ditawarkan bagi Bangsa Indonesia adalah laut, mengingat luas lautannya adalah 80 % dari luas teritorialnya. Sumber energi alternatif dari lingkungan laut ini antara lain adalah arus laut. Ks.rena. kondisi kecepa.ta.n s.rus laut di Selat Bali yang relatif besa.r, maka dijadikan lokasi studi pemanfaatan arus la.ut sebagai energi listrik. Hasi 1 perencanaan mengungkapan besa.rnya daya yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan satu unit turbin air sebagai obyek geraknya sebesar 3,5 MW, yang sebelumnya didahului dengan perencanaan tipe turbin, sistem transmisi, generator, juga bangunan lautnya. Secara teknis pemanfaatan arus dapat dilakukan, namun terlebih laut ini di dahulu perlu Indonesia dilakukan pengukuran besarnya kecepatan arus laut yang lebih spesifikk sehingga. didapatkan daya listrik yang optimum,dan operasi instalasi yang akurat

    Many shipping companies were trying to deliver their cargoes as quickly and reliably as possible. But in the beginning of the latest economic crisis on 2007, the containership fleet is slowing down. Even though world oil prices are now declining, but based on the prediction of World Bank, the price of oil will rise again in 2017. Even some shipping company implements slow steaming method on the operation of their ships. But they do not know whether these methods are effective or not due to any negative effects arising from an implement of slow steaming like increased sailing time so may result in losses to the shippers. This study aims to give suggestions on which ship speed is most optimal for shipping companies by considering technical and operational, financial and also environmental aspect then will be selected one by using Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. While for criteria and sub criteria weighting are calculated by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method using Expert Choice software.     Electrocoagulation is electrochemical water treatment and the simplest technology for wastewater treatment using an electrochemical cell in which the supply of DC power is applied to the electrodes made of aluminum, and the electrolyte is wastewater. The experiments were conducted using oily bilge water in an electrocoagulation batch reactor. The electrodes were aluminum with dimensions (20 cm × 8 cm × 0.2 cm) mounted at a distance of 4 cm vertically. Aluminum plate was then connected to a direct current power supply having a 220 V input and output of 10 V with electric current of 10-15 A. The total area of the effective working of the plate was 160 cm2 when was immersed at a depth of 10 cm to the solution. The deposition process was maintained constant around 30-60 minutes. The results showed that the process could reduce the turbidity from114.1 to14.3 NTU and the highest solids concentration obtained was 12.54 g/l with initial oil concentration of 50 g/l within 60 minutes. The largest oil removal of 98.75% was obtained using the initial concentration of oil 75 g/l and the lowest of 96.25% was obtained with the initial oil concentration of 150 g / l
